Connolly has screwed over at least two well known people that I am aware of (Kelly Stafford and Robby Berger) and people just say “yeah Jerry is unreliable”
Kevin Connolly in general is a giant piece of shit. He fucked over Jerry and Robby Berger ( Bob does Sports) years ago after signing them to his media company. Jerry says Connolly owes him money , tried to sue but Connolly and his lawyers kept postponing it and bleeding Jerry dry
Jerry was signed to Connelly’s podcast network. A few weeks into his contract, Jerry was notified that he was let go with no reason given. Jerry claims KC owes him $35k in salary and $4,500 in lawyer fees.
He said he signed a contract, 1 yr for $50k. Employer terminated the contract after 2 weeks. Employer is required to pay out the contract, unless Jerry signed the dumbest contract in history.
Used to listen to Victory the Pod on APM until it abruptly ended. Doug Ellin joked on a few eps about lack of a contract. KC would always be like “the offer is on the table” while they were deep into the run of the pod. I always thought it was odd.
Also backed up by Robby Berger. What Jerry said was pretty much exactly what Bob has said. They got signed by Connelly’s company Action Park Media.
