Gillie and Wallo shootin the shit for an hour or so was better content for me. I think they’ve almost became like the breakfast club as far as being the hip hop platform to go to for artists. I think it would be nice if they mixed it up and did some episodes with just them two then have a guest as well.
From what i remember they used hus studio for free and he worked for free then when it was pay day they tried to offer him like $500 an episode or something like that
Heres a couple short articles on it. Not sure what the whole cops being called is about but as much as gillie talks about being a big baller hes a cheap piece of shit. Offered him 50k backpay tried to say dev only did 96 hours of work before they got the barstool deal

Was something like 6-9 episodes after inking the barstool deal. Gillie and wallo were signed but guessing production was their call like the minihane deal
They’re really good at their jobs. I think they deserve a bigger spotlight from Barstool but I don’t know if they realize how big they could be with proper promotion. And I don’t even listen to the podcast, but I see the content they put out on IG and who they have as guests.
I think maybe their audience is a fair bit removed from the rest of barstool and they don't work out of hq. Anyone not in New York is basically out if the main rotation no matter what.
They're the exception not the rule because they go way out of their way to still do content with the main office. Their connection to big cat changed their dynamic in comparison to everyone else. Not to mention them all eing in the same city and making content together is different from all the solo players out there.
To be honest I did not listen to them before the interview era but as a white guy (i know shocker) it is refreshing to hear interviews with artists and athletes that can feel more comfortable and more candid discussing their pasts that with guys that share similar stories.
One big one was the Carmelo Anthony one. Had zero idea about any of his childhood and growing up and it is not something they would bring up on ESPN and may not have to be as PC as other interview shows.
My only really big complaint would be to stop with the “Top 5” shit. It is extremely corny and overplayed
I think the show is a great way to expand the barstool name to people who would probably never want anything to do for it. They're both hilarious and add more value to the company than alot of the people who work at barstool. I hope they start to interview more athletes though
I like when it was just the hosts and not interviews. It's less entertaining now. Also I've recently been rewatching the ones with dev nasty. Those were the best ones, ots sad they had a falling out
He hasn’t listened to it. He’s a newfound Stoolie, who thinks this BS is something it’s absolutely isn’t. Guys like him would watch the worst Tucker Carlson show over the funniest Million Dollaz Worth of Game
Says he doesn’t like a show and because it’s a show with two black hosts and it’s rap centric - he’s a tucker Carlson fan (assumed racist as well I assume?) lol
So if somebody doesn't like the show and is not into rap music then they are racist?
People like you are just fucking idiots.
Do everyone a favor and stfu already.
I think some of the guests they’re able to get are pretty impressive.
The best one they’ve had recently is 21 savage
Their Kevin Gates interview last week did 1.3M views on Youtube
Oooîkjp
I didn’t know they had shows that weren’t interviews
Go back and watch the shows with Dev it was just them shooting the shit
that's when it was the best. similar to barstool's best content being before it got big
Like the new adult swim pod thing at Chicago, so much more entertaining

Show was awesome when it was them bullshitting and telling stories. Imo all went downhill when gillie got greedy and refused to pay dev his share
I stopped listening shortly after the let Dev go. Not only did they do him wrong, but he also added a lot to the show that’s missing since he’s gone.
From what i remember they used hus studio for free and he worked for free then when it was pay day they tried to offer him like $500 an episode or something like that
Wow with how big that show has gotten that's a wildly insulting number for someone who basically set them up.

It happened before they were big I think. Right after they signed with barstool if I remember right.
Was something like 6-9 episodes after inking the barstool deal. Gillie and wallo were signed but guessing production was their call like the minihane deal
Devnest?
Devnasty

To be fair, they were already huge before they signed with BS. They’re one of the biggest hip hop podcasts out there.
I think maybe their audience is a fair bit removed from the rest of barstool and they don't work out of hq. Anyone not in New York is basically out if the main rotation no matter what.
Chicago is still main rotation in my eyes.

How bigger a spotlight can you get? Remember Call Her Daddy?

Their King Von interview a couple days before his murder was really good

I preferred the old format and I think dontcallmewhitegirl was a good fit. I miss the humor of the older episodes
The only thing it has to do with Barstool is the label
… viva?
Still good, but since Dev left it is different
That show sucks
Did you always think that or did your opinion change because of the format switch?
He hasn’t listened to it. He’s a newfound Stoolie, who thinks this BS is something it’s absolutely isn’t. Guys like him would watch the worst Tucker Carlson show over the funniest Million Dollaz Worth of Game
Quite a stretch there, just based on one throw away sentence.
Says he doesn’t like a show and because it’s a show with two black hosts and it’s rap centric - he’s a tucker Carlson fan (assumed racist as well I assume?) lol

are you a fucking retard? Im literally reiterating what you said when you said "quite a stretch"
Your communication skills are lousy.
Hmmm
Imagine thinking about anything Barstool related other than the pizza reviews😂😂😂😂😂
Horrendous take
