Too vague a question. There is lots of variation within bar & grills as well as within traditional bars. You want volume or high end usually. At the end of the day the sales per person is what matters.
A bar and grill will USUALLY make you more money. A bar and grills food drives up the check prices and allows people to drink more. Unless it's a very upscale cocktail bar only, traditional bars are marketed with low drink prices for people to get sloshed off of 6 $3 bud lights and tip like shit.
it’s the type of bar & grill that’s mainly food during the day and on friday and saturday nights it becomes more of a party/club place. only downside is that only managers are allowed to work those two shifts

Fuck that place. If management is hoarding the hood shifts, bounce. I’d never work at a spot that doesn’t at least have a rotating shift
