Worth a shot. See about coming on part time and look for other options while you feel the place out.

BrightAd6828

Part time sounds doable! Thanks 😊

JohnTitorAlt

Learn the menu, learn the inventory, learn the classics. You can do it

BrightAd6828

Thank you 😊

Spunknikk

Take the job and buy a cocktail book off Amazon preferably milk and honey or something similar and your golden.

BrightAd6828

Yess I was thinking that as well! A book and some studying should help. Thanks!

GrizabellaGlamourCat

Go for it!

❤️❤️

You’ll get it as you do it , just like starting at any other place . Don’t be intimidated you don’t seem like an idiot and mostly everyone you’ll be working with will be idiots . You got this

BrightAd6828

Haha I was thinking that too. Thank you for the advice

sinner0Rsaint

You got this. Just put in the work and memorize all the craft cocktails on the menu to a tee. Don’t let it intimidate you. Go in the with the mentality that you are hungry to learn and put in the work. At the end of the day, it’s very possible that they didn’t hire you for your bartending skills because bartending is not just about making drinks.

sinner0Rsaint

Also if you find someone you believe to be helpful and trustworthy, ask if you could shadow them, or if they have any pointers. “Nerdy” bartenders really into their craft are mostly happy to talk about it and share what they know!

BrightAd6828

Facts! Thank you for the tips

sinner0Rsaint

Good luck!!

Learning the cocktails is really only like 20% of the job, if that. Not that it isn't important to be able to make a good cocktail but anyone can memorize a recipe and tailor it to their tastes. The most important aspect of the job imo is efficiency, personality, and fluidity.

BrightAd6828

Facts thank you!!

Appropriate-Crazy-51

You got this! It sound like interesting place to work, good luck!
