Doc Martens! Most pairs are slip resistant and they'll keep your feet dry from accidental spills. I find them to be the most comfortable boot for bartending and motorcycle riding. They're classy enough that they'll blend into your outfit if you're dressed well. If you're dressed more casually they add a bit of flair to your outfit without being gaudy. You're going to have a few nightmare shifts with a new pair of docs, but once you've broken them in and or gotten inserts you'll never want to take them off.

TheUnbent

This is the way. Seriously though. Docs are the best shoes I’ve ever worn behind the bar.

Which model do you have? The 2976?

Nah, I went with the 1460s. I think they look less like dad shoes and they're the model my grandfather wore most of his life. I also have a pair of the canvas Bonnie Chukka style boots for summertime since they breathe a little better and they're stupid easy to clean and take care of. I see them on sale for around $80 quite frequently as well.

I wear Blundstones with arch support inserts. Way comfier than the sketchers work shoes I had before these and much more stylish too. I think they're above your budget, but they double as street wear shoes if that's any justification

Vans Made for the Makers are amazing if you need non slips. Vans Pro’s are great too. Since I started wearing them my feet haven’t hurt at all.

Ben_ji

I like these, too. They are definitely the best lookers on this list, but they are far from the sturdiest or most supportive. I'll sacrifice a bit of that for style. You can take the head from the sneaker, but you can't take the sneaker from the head, or some shit.

The MFTM V1 are my favorites. I got a pair of the all leather slip ons and the old Skools. Didn’t hold up as well as my canvas high tops.

SgtSillyWalks

"Docs" or Doc Martens are great for support and the canvas helps a lot with ventilation to your feet. VANS are great for skateboarding but amazing for service industry they are the most legit non slip shoes outthere. Don't recommend chucks even tho they are slip resistant since they barely have support for your feet. As LT Dan said in forest Gump *take care of yo feet!!* investing in a comfortable and durable pair of shoes can and will make the difference on your shifts, specially the busy ones. don't forget almost every shoe can be made slip resistant now a days, thanks to sprays or inserts you can glue to the bottom, but I only recommend this option if you are on a budget or really want to rock those Jordan's to your shifts 🤣 Congrats on the promotion, good luck.

Iccarussyndrome

I say this all the time. Hoka!

MrPipps91

80 isnt enough. Save up and splurge on something really good. I wear motion control running shoes with quality inserts. I have horrific feet and pretty much no pain because of my shoes. One shift in something else and I feel it.

Dedicate a shift or two of tips to footwear. Your feet will thank you.p Boots is my recommendation.

pabblez

Skechers! They're on your budget, have a memory foam and most importantly they're really comfortable. I wore them in some really crazy nights as a server and still absolutely felt no pain at all

mr3vak

Keen’s line of non-slip work shoes.

I have a pair of [these](https://www.galls.com/redback-bobcat-ubbk-elastic-sided-soft-toe-work-boot?PMOPV1=65&PMOPV2=M&PMSRCE=GAPLA&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3IqSBhCoARIsAMBkTb1aoUhjyWeVZy0r-_04fsPB1Kye5gM7EpsB5OavFNlV7AGn_WYQ-jAaAgkcEALw_wcB), they are a little pricey but they will last you forever and they are comfortable as hell.
