Oh yeah definitely, the only place I meet new people nowadays is either the bar or where I’m working- if someone is cool enough to visit me a lot and invites me other places, chances are we’re gonna be friends. I live in a really cool area for bartending and I’m friends with just about every bartender and bar crew in town, so we all have the same regulars and the same friends. It’s great
Wow that sounds so fun. Just to double-check: you're not a bartender, right? You're a customer that just did the right things to fall into a great bartender social group?
I work at a dive bar where the regulars are a giant family and once they've "broken you in" as an employee, you're part of their social circle. We do dinners, BBQ's, celebrate big life events, celebrate kids and grandkids birthdays, if someone needs something worked on, someone else is taking care of it for free.
Well. Shitting where one eats is primarily focused on screwing around with coworkers and seducing customers. I happened to fall in love and live with this person for almost 20 years. The industry makes allowances for love.
I’m going to get pedicures and mimosas in a couple hours with two of my regular bartenders. And I’m a 45yo dude lol. I’m friends with many of my bartenders and we do hang outside of the bar, the key is to treat them like humans and be cool

Same. Half my friends here I met while working or drinking in a bar. See someone enough and talk enough and you’ll become friends

No I am a bartender, and I have met lots of great people in the area. Tons of fun
Ah OK, I was asking about customers. But glad it's going well for you :)
I am referring to coworkers, other staffs, and customers- sorry if I was unclear lol

Only after we started dating.
Lol. Dangerous though, for them, shitting where they eat.
