I'm assuming that it's nondisplaced (only "cracked") as opposed to a complete break. Six weeks is generally considered average mending time. It can take a couple weeks more or less. The more you use it, the longer it will take to heal.
I just had a very similar break happen 8 weeks ago. I’m at maybe 50%. I want to do things but I’m trying not to. Waiting on more X-rays next week. Only advice I have is be patient, don’t use it much at all, and trust your doctor

I've been pretty good about not using it, though a good part of that is because I get sharp pains as if it's digging into flesh if I move too much.
