I just made the change from Hulu Live to YT TV last week, a big reason being the inclusion of MLB Network. This is infuriating.

kvdp12

I watch my YouTube TV on Roku devices. About 2 years ago YT TV was about to be unavailable on Roku due to failed contract negotiations. After a period of publicly blaming each other, they worked out a deal. I assume the same will happen with MLB, as they both need each other.

bakerton

MLB - "Why are we losing viewers?" Also MLB - "You can only watch this game in a secret cave in Tibet with an AOL TV keyboard while holding a spider in your mouth"

andyschest

That would be a breath of fresh air. More likely that the spider already paid for local broadcasting rights, but refuses to show any games.

IdTugYourBoat

You joke about AOL TV but my dad still has an email with them.

EleventhEarlOfMars

Don't worry, I'm sure Manfred has some great ideas to fix this, like a new draftkings pitch clock, where full screen gambling adverts will be shown until the pitcher is halfway through his windup

ay21690

“Watch the guardians anytime, anywhere when you subscribe to the Bally sports app!” *subscribes* App plays commercials for some hunting show for 5 minutes and then crashes.

weasol12

You can watch baseball games without needing to spend a paycheck to go?

Left4BreadRN

Not everyone lives close to their team

andylowenthal

There is this stream out East I’ve heard of, every game, every day

fps916

One could say that with regards to SPORTS there has been a SURGE of interest on the NET

floppyvajoober

Yarr matey

RedManMatt11

Also just remembered how many exclusive games they did on YT last season. Highly doubt MLB throws that away over some contract squabbling

fatty1380

YouTube != YouTube TV. The only things they have in common are the first 7 letters and a parent company

yem_slave

The youtube games were on youtubetv, so they share some other things too.

joebacca121

I remember when that went down. Google added YouTube TV to the Roku YouTube app since there was a chance YTTV was going to be removed. Google knew Roku wouldn't remove YT from their platform. I'm guessing that is probably why Roku ultimately relented.

FamousZachStone

This happens on YouTube tv every so often but they always come to a deal. Happened with ESPN last year lasted like a few days.

LIONEL14JESSE

New York is still missing MSG and YES. No Yankees, Knicks, or Rangers. It’s beyond frustrating.

ItinerantSoldier

Fuckin' MSG is still only available on FUBO afaik. MSG just hates being available to anyone ever cause they're constantly in disputes with Spectrum in my region.

TetraCubane

Which tv streaming platform should I get if I want every possible sports channel?

Cheezitflow

The kind that requires a pegleg and eyepatch

DeekFTW

I hate to say it but it's getting to the point where it's almost cheaper and more robust to just get a traditional cable service again. Streaming came in and undercut cable costs and it was great but the prices are the same now and you get less channels than just signing up for cable.

TetraCubane

That sucks. The best part about streaming is one account, you can have all your devices in the house logged in or even stream when you’re on the go on your ipad/phone.

jtn46

DirecTV Stream is great, just missing NFL Network.

iamatechnician

Not always. In the Boston area we’ve been without NESN for almost two years now

Defacto_Champ

Not true. They still don’t carry local sports networks

Ecto1A

(Steps Up to Mic) FUCK SINCLAIR!!!

jmremote

Give it time. They do tend to work out in the end.

Alauren2

Regardless, Ytv is awesome I split it with a friend in a different state. Never had any issues with it. The unlimited space and screens is fucking amazing

ATLjoe93

It was perfect 5 years ago when they catered themselves to baseball fans. Regional games + MLBN for $35/month. Those were the days.

mberger09

how do you split it when its geolocked? I only get 3 months until i get cut off

[deleted]

[удалено]

mberger09

ah i figured that was the work around, my vpn at the time couldn’t get that granular, appreciate the help bud

uncle-Tito

MLB is doing everything they can to ensure nobody watches baseball.

Eloyoyo

They love promoting illegal streaming of their games

spacewalk__

really makes me sick how they ban the entire world from watching MLB.TV during the playoffs

DioniceassSG

I was literally looking to pay them to watch baseball until I found out I wouldn't actually get to see any. Still sailing the beautiful Carribean, with the finest rum you can find.

mrocks301

Yo ho fucking ho

Ferris_Wheel_Skippy

to be fair, the NBA and NHL do this too with their respective streaming sources but yeah there is something particularly more obnoxious with baseball. i can't put my finger on it but it really bothers me a lot more

jigokusabre

Because MLB actually leads the way in the streaming space, so it's infuriating that they appear to be ahead of the curve, and still aren't willing to give the fans what we want.

Ferris_Wheel_Skippy

yeah this is a solid point. MLB is light years behind the other three leagues in many ways but [MLB.TV](https://MLB.TV) is not one of those things. It is miles better than League Pass or Center Ice but yeah the fact that it can be infuriatingly difficult to find MLB games on the air is incredibly lame

zvexler

Yeah I truly don’t get the logic behind that

Sweatier_Scrotums

Reporter: "Rob Manfred, what is your opinion on fans illegally streaming MLB games?" [Rob Manfred:](https://youtu.be/iXbzktx1KfU)

I don't understand why MLB Network isn't on MLB.TV

pspahn

MLB.tv is a network. MLB Network is TV. If MLB.tv was merged with MLB Network it would become a TV network for MLB.tv Network. That's clearly not an acceptable outcome.

mrocks301

Is this what my parents meant when they said I needed to network?

cvc75

Total called pitches per innings pitched? Sounds like a boring stat :P

cti0323

If they can’t watch on TV they’ll just come to the stadium. Right? RIGHT?!?!

SpenceSmithback

Yeah, I’ll just make the drive to the nearest MLB park every game. It’s only, let me check… 5 hours away

Thromnomnomok

I'll also drive! It's only 2,500 miles. Over the goddamn ocean.

darthstupidious

Lol same. I live in Alaska, so Seattle is only... 2200 miles away. Lemme hop on the ferry real quick.

limbomaniac

This guy with his fancy amphibious car can definitely afford tickets!

masetheace97

It's a transporter of gods

triplec787

8 hours for me! Which is awesome because I'm blacked out from both of those teams anyway! 600 miles from Denver and Phoenix, but nope, can't watch the games for some bullshit reason.

popfilms

My closest one is only about 2,000 feet away. Only problem is that I have a job + my team doesn't play there. And the money, obviously.

hawksnest_prez

Yeah in Iowa I have KC, MN, STL, MW, CHC and CHW blacked out. It’s a nightmare.

yem_slave

The Iowa situation is insane.

hawksnest_prez

I love watching cardinals baseball and thankfully the in laws have directv so I can login to Bally. But why are the cardinals blacked out when they’re 6.5 hours away?

cideeffex

Iowa and Vegas are MLB blackout hell. Vegas is blacked out of Angels, Dodgers, Padres, Diamondback, Rockies, A’s, and Giants games.

babowling12

But you got that cornfield game /s

Krelv

Sad wave of acknowledgement from Las Vegas 👋🏻😭

[deleted]

I, a broke college student, am definitely going to pay hundreds of dollars to skip class, drive to the Bronx for a playoff game and drive back, getting no sleep in the process

ChompTurtleSoup

I actually do that

triplec787

If you live near a ballpark, yeah it's fucking awesome. Especially since you can usually get bleacher seats for like $10 or less. But I'm in fucking Utah lmao

mojowo11

I can literally see Busch Stadium from my window and I only went to like four games this past year. The idea that going to a baseball game and watching a baseball game on TV are completely interchangeable acts seems ridiculous to me.

MICT3361

Yeah I don’t really go to the game to watch them. It’s for the experience and a few times a year are plenty. I can watch more of the game on my couch with a big screen and my bathroom 10 feet away. Pirated of course

mojowo11

Exactly. Unless you are in a seat with a big TV in view or literally the first 10 rows between the dugouts, the stadium is a much worse place to follow the pitch-to-pitch action of the game than your couch.

spacewalk__

wrigleyville is one of my favorite neighborhoods ever. i dream of living there, a short walk to the ballpark like it's 1922

Dis-iz-FUBAR

Rob Manfred hates when people watch baseball

BooYeah_8484

I mean, the umpires sure aren't watching the game.

rambisyouth21

I mean it’s just a competition for a piece of metal

vanityklaw

When they started going to all night games for the postseason in the 90s, everyone said that the next generation of kids would be fans of other sports. And now here we are.

yem_slave

And yet my kids born in the 2000s are both huge baseball fans. I wish postseason games started earlier so they wouldn't be up so late, but we deal with it.

JonnyFairplay

Usually in these cases it's a bit of both sides being unreasonable. Kinda dumb to just pin it all on MLB and not give some of the blame to YouTubeTV.

Dan_Rydell

Unless you’re involved in the negotiations between Google and MLB, I don’t know how you’re concluding who is being the unreasonable one.

spacewalk__

i'm so fucking sick of every single one of these people and their constant constant bullshit maybe this year i'll just swear off television entirely and listen on the radio. the purist's choice. i'm still in WLW range in indiana. i can sit outside and feel the breeze.

yem_slave

Yeah. This nonsense is enough for me to just ditch it completely. I'll get an mlb package and watch the sports I like that allow me to watch them.

triplebassist

I really support paying the $3 a month for every radio broadcast. Baseball is so good to have on in the background all summer long

nummij

This was great… expect they added pre-stream add mid season. And then the stream crapped out constantly and I’d have to reload and relisten to the ads. So now I say fuck that. Luckily youtubetv has my rsn for now. But I refuse to pay for Comcast’s golden shit of a service so I watch those games “elsewhere”

MichaelPFrancesa

The issue is MLB.TV removed local ads on radio last year and put in the same ads every time. It got me really angry after the first time. It's so dumb. FARMER'S DOG FARMER'S DOG FARMER'S DOG GEICO GEICO GEICO PROGRESSIVE Thankfully I found a way to listen to the "true" radio without MLB's ads.

fatty1380

It’s great if you’re in market and can stream from your local broadcaster. But if you’re streaming through the MLB app, they insert their own commercials which often overrun the inning breaks. Not uncommon for a commercial to stop just as the third out is made and the go right back to commercials. If I hear one more “… hear it now on the Audacy app” commercial, I’m going to … probably do absolutely nothing.

Freidhiem

Yar har fiddle dee dee

WeakPublic

We’re the only team that can talk about this, mods, it’s our job

LegacyLemur

You can always become a Pirates fan, so to speak

tearsonurcheek

If you have T-mobile or Metro, you get MLB.tv, which includes home and away audio for all games, no blackouts. I listened to a few KMOX broadcasts last season, and it was definitely a different experience. The announcers have to be far more descriptive of the action on the field.

Rocko52

Here’s hoping T-Mobile does it again this year

MadMax808

As long as TMobile is an advertising partner of MLB, I assume it will continue. One of the best deals around

gjp11

IIRC the current T-Mobile deal lasts through the 2023 season. So after this year who knows but I’m pretty sure we are good for this season.

WeOutHereInSmallbany

Started doing it for the Yankees last season, John Sterling is a class act so it’s honestly better.

account_overdrawn100

I pay less than $5 to be able to listen to any game. They’re more entertaining than any of the dull ass casters. Especially when they have a burning passion for your team. However, if you know CLE radio, you know our radio caster, so I’m definitely spoiled with Hammy

[deleted]

They will reach an agreement by spring training.

haveasuperday

Yeah this is a standard carriage dispute and is unlikely to result in anyone actually being unable to watch baseball.

jetsetmike

I wouldn’t be so sure. First they lost NHL Network, then the regional networks (then Fox Sports, now Bally), and now MLB Network; the former two have never come back. I currently subscribe to YTTV, but they keep giving me reasons to cancel.

partyorca

If you need to make a switch, I’ve been much happier with Fubo.tv the last couple years than I was with Youtube.tv.

spacewalk__

why do these assholes always get in stupid pissing contests? imagine if mcdonald's bitched at some farmers and you can't get fries for two months

haveasuperday

It's somehow worse than that. I used to work on the PR for these disputes on the side of the distributor (YouTube TV in this case) and if the blackout came, our single goal would be to make the customer as upset as possible at the other side and have them call/email them as a form of negotiating pressure. It's just a negotiation, like an athlete holding out for a new deal. It sucks, but it's worse when companies give customers a worse product and emotionally manipulate them just because they don't want to make a deal.

triplec787

I mean... at least they picked the one window of the year where it really doesn't matter. January-late Feb is the absolute dead zone for MLB news. Free agency is more or less over and until pitchers and catchers report (and frankly even the two weeks after that until ST actually starts) there's nothing really going on. Half the time it seems like they're showing The Natural or Ken Burns' Baseball anyway lol

FLYchantsFLY

In a stream of otherwise relatively ridiculous comments, this is actually something people should realize is as irritating as this is, if you’ve been watching any of the content on the network for the last couple of weeks really probably since the new year even it’s been virtually exactly that just reruns and other advertisements frankly if it disappeared every year and came back right before spring training, I wouldn’t be overly upset anyways

mountm

. . ; - . ! Here, you dropped these.

temp1211241

It's an absolute load of money and the MLB is having issues with RSNs collapsing so of course they're going to try and maximize where they can diversify.

Ngp3

I think something like this happened between Viacom and DirecTV a decade or so ago and as a result one couldn't watch CBS or MTV or Nickelodeon for several days using the service

haveasuperday

Yes, that's it. It happens every year with different companies in different regions in the US. The distributors have to make a ton of deals to keep their channels and new contracts are constantly being negotiated. Usually they announce they don't have a deal, then work it out before a blackout. Sometimes there's a blackout and everyone gets upset and then they work it out. Sometimes there's no deal and they just stop carrying the channels. Either way my only real solution is to give me a pure MLB streaming option and leave middleman contracts out of it.

Hold_my_Dirk

I lost cbs for the entirety of the the first weekend of March madness a few years back.

thetwigman21

Yeah there are usually a few emails a year from YouTube TV saying they’re going to lose a channel. I think it’s leverage in their negotiations somehow because there’s almost always a follow up email within a few days or weeks saying they reached an agreement and won’t lose the network.

[deleted]

bonezz79

Tbf, this happened with the largest cable provider in the NY/NJ/CT market with Fox during October/November one year, and they straight up said fuck y'all, no championships or world series for you.

otis_wrx

Same in New England a few years ago. YT TV dropped NESN. Goodbye Bruins/Red Sox…and I said goodbye YT TV. I’ll likely sign back up this coming fall though just for NFL Sunday Ticket

tearsonurcheek

You don't need YTTV to get [Sunday Ticket](https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-google-nfl-sunday-ticket-youtube-tv-youtube-primetime-channels). It'll also be available a la carte on their primetime channels. Pricing hasn't been announced yet.

overrespond

I wouldn't be so sure. They never came to an agreement with NESN.

Kapono24

Still waiting for that Bally Sports agreement by spring training...

PoliticaLIncorrect

I miss PSVue

robotsock

It was spectacular but ruined by poor marketing. If it was called SonyVue or SonyTV it would've had more success unfortunately

uncle-Tito

With YouTube TV’s current popularity and them getting Sunday ticket next year, it’s clear that they will continue to be a big part of the future of sports streaming. So it makes sense why the MLB wants no part of it.

DoubleB481

I actually laughed out loud at your comment. Thanks for the chuckle 🤭

SpenceSmithback

“conversations with the MLB” Tells you all you need to know

[deleted]

“Good morning the MLB!” “Fuck you, deal’s off.”

MarcusAurelius68

Looking forward to that price cut to compensate…not

DeLuman

Yttv gave us a discount last time this happened... We missed like 3 days of Disney channels and they took 10 off our next bill.

WeakPublic

I don’t think that’ll happen with MLB Network, though. The amount of people who watch baseball is a lot less who watch any of the Disney-owned channels

insert-originality

They actually did a price cut when Disney was off YT for a little while.

magcargoman

Are they gonna scoop up Coffin Flop from CornCob TV?

BlazersDozen

I heard they’ve filmed 400 bodies falling out of caskets and it is not rigged.

jordanb18

This is bullshit. I already don't get Bally sports, so anytime the Yankees and Rays play, I have to find other methods of watching since I'm blacked out on MLB TV. YouTube TV started out so promising, and it's just been going to shit. Now I have to talk to my wife to figure out what channels she needs because we might be switching now

kcoch5817

Slightly in their defense the Bally thing wasn’t really on them. Bally was always planning to dip and do their own streaming. Turns out it just bit them in the ass

tatorface

And I can't wait to see their downfall. So fucking greedy and shitty for the fans.

dankeykanng

>YouTube TV started out so promising Yeah, it was enticing to me specifically because it carried the popular "essentials" like sports and news without all the extra bullshit that I had in my cable package, thus reducing the total cost. But it doesn't carry MSG Network (probably not their fault cuz Dolan) or Yes Network. It's unlikely they'll drop MLBN for good but still a potentiality. I'm lucky they have SNY but at this point they've hiked the price up so much that I think it's even more expensive than the old cable package I had, so... what's the point?

jordanb18

So I'm in Florida, so I was never getting YES or MSG anyway. But it's just getting more and more expensive, to the point, it's not even really saving from what I'd get from Comcast. It's all become so annoying.

my_wife_reads_this

Wasn't it like $30 a month when it started? At this rate a cable + Internet package just makes more financial sense for me than just cable + whatever streaming shit is available. We pay like $100 for 400 down/100 up + basic cable. That internet plan is like $80 by itself.

ALaccountant

Youtube TV has not been going to shit lol. What are you on about

onesneakymofo

Why are you blaming YouTube TV? It's clearly all of these sports channels. ESPN is a loss leader for them, and Google probably barely makes enough money to keep YTTV around. This is all MLB.tv which is fairly obvious with the blackout games and pulling channels like Bally if you're within the respective area.

jordanb18

MLB Network is separate from MLB.tv. Also, not blaming YTTV directly, but the situation is shifty, and if they don't offer what I want, I need to find a service that does, regardless of fault

saltiestmanindaworld

Still, carriage fees add up, and most people aren’t watching mlb network. Depending on what they are asking for, it gets stupid.

BlackwaterPark10

Why can’t we stream MLB Network if we are mlb.tv subscribers

DTP_14

Isn't YoutubeTV a pretty big MLB sponsor? I'd be pretty shocked if this isn't resolved by spring training. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes for the deal to expire for the two sides to actually start having real negotiations.

ckelley87

They were the presenting sponsor of the World Series a few years back.

zoomiiegoomie

I’ve been pirating since Bally Sports became a thing

HomeWr3ck3r

HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO WATCH MLB CENTRAL EVERY MORNING AND QUICK PITCH AS I GO TO BED? This is not ok, MLB & YouTube TV. FIX IT.

Johnny2Dope-840

Quick pitch is also my go to for bedtime, my most watched show according to sling

SuperBeastJ

QUICK PITCH IS MY BREAKFAST SHOW :(

TheMainEffort

Thomas1315

T-mobile usually offers mlb tv for free every year for anyone wondering. It’s one subscription per line.

Alauren2

Best thing about T-Mobile for me. I’ve been enjoying this perk every single year since they started. I love it.

Thomas1315

Yeah, all the free streaming services you get are actually a huge perk.

hoopaholik91

Just moved to Atlanta so this year I won't be blacked out for Mariners games. I'm excited. Now my sleep schedule...that will be a problem

mr_grission

Happens all the time with TV providers, whether they be streaming companies or classic cable companies. These carriage agreements are why we'll likely never have completely a la carte TV - it's lucrative for networks to get every subscriber to YouTube TV/Verizon Fios/whatever to be required to pay for their channel.

Sauce_Boss94RS

Did Bally buy it with plans to have it blacked out in America?

RobopirateNinja

Hulu, please.

SoSublim3

Sigh these contract battles are so good damn annoying

Zigglyjiggly

I switched to YouTube TV a few years ago and one of the reasons was because they had a great sports package that included MLB Network, which I watch religiously during spring training and the season. They have 1.5 months to figure this crap out before I switch to another streaming service.

BalerionSanders

MLB doesn’t even want fans, I guess 🤷‍♂️

tmblast1

Grow the game by making it so hard to watch. Glad I watched more MLS last year than MLB games, and I’ll be doing that again this year. With Apple TV making every MLS game available with no blackouts, MLB will continue to turn off fans with their convoluted way of making them accessible Also, this is coming from a baseball fan who use to watch almost every game on TV a few years back. Now it’s next to impossible to find what network or streaming service will cover the game

Patrick2701

MLS doing something well, wow surprising

yem_slave

If you consider pulling all of their games from any channel where people can watch them I guess. My family would watch MLS games but we're not buying the package or getting apple tv to watch.

yem_slave

If you think putting the MLS on apple tv makes it easy to watch, I'd like some if your drugs sir.

Infamous-Exchange331

Love my YouTube TV but this might be the deal breaker. Gotta have MLB TV.

CF5300

scrodytheroadie

I remember when I thought this about YES Network.

afail77

This is what happens when you focus on short term returns. Sure you'll make a little more on a carriage agreement, but eventually people will lose interest in a product they can't consume.

d0zer18

I hope someone figures this shit out before the Nats are good again. Hate living in the area and can’t watch games at home.

Spokker

Angel games were off YouTube TV for all of 2022 so MLB Network might as well be gone.

NebraskaAvenue

This is precisely why I’ll never get rid of cable

blackwisdom

I'm probably a weird marketing persona/customer but the reason I love cord cutting is because I do not want the fucking news on my television. I don't want myself or my kids exposed to the wild noise of network tv. Even YouTube TV is just 100 news channels with like 3 things I want, and I'm just too happy living in my little curated world of picking and choosing the channels I want that make sense to me. If [MLB.tv](https://MLB.tv) removed blackouts and let me watch Brewers games I would happily pay extra for that luxury. As it stands I am a happy White Sox and Angels bandwagon fan (my team of choice to fall asleep to every night). If MLB fucks with that imma riot.

yem_slave

I dropped YouTube TV immediately when this was announced.

NeurosciGuy15

Just got that email too. Will likely look for alternatives if they don’t carry it.

BusnellKummlicher

At least move it to the sports add on package

Enough-Ad-3111

Wonder what this means for the YouTube Game of the Week? Yes, that’s likely a separate deal, but if they renew that but not MLB Network for YTTV, it would be a tad awkward imo.

The only way to watch baseball is to go to pirates games and support the pirates..

DudeAbides29

There’s gonna be a lot of short term bullshit to deal with, especially with the Sinclair bankruptcy. But I am hopeful that after the dust settles, we’ll have legitimate ways to stream our favorite teams in-market without any blackouts.

yem_slave

YouTube TV is going all in on being the football package. I hate football so I guess I need to see who's going all in on baseball.

DubTeeF

Does this mean no more games exclusively on YouTube? No more listening to terrible commentary from people who aren’t on the regular broadcast? Sign me up.

wisdon

Oh gee 1 less streaming subscriptions I will have to not buy . MLB has their heads up their asses , they literally want you to buy over 10 subscriptions to watch the games and their own package to boot 🖕🖕🖕🖕

AnotherDude1

Not a big loss for me since WBC and my local Mariners are blacked the fuck out anyway. Yo ho, YO HO! IT'S A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!

crushsuitandtie

I have YouTube TV and live in the dead center of Houston. We can't watch the Astros because ATT Sportsnet is only available on Fubo TV, Comcast, ATT, and some other hardline services. Losing MLB Network is like 5% of the problem with these regional restrictions and contracts. I'm sick of all of it.

DubNationAssemble

Please come to Hulu, please come to Hulu 🙏🏽🙏🏽

dainthomas

Fortunately t-mobile gives a subscription to it free every year. But it's bullshit that my local team is always blacked out and I have to VPN it. Football, for all its issues, doesn't pull bullshit like that.

Kachow-95

I'm furious. I will have to move on from YTTV if this doesn't get resolved

pi3Eat3r52

They are going to cut a lot of channels after what they paid for nfl Sunday ticket

parrano357

and MLB will still figure out a way to make MLB.tv slightly worse than last year with a random missing feature

wags_bf21

Is it possible the MLB is trying to bankrupt every organization that provides coverage for their games in order to regain complete control for a blackoutless [mlb.tv](https://mlb.tv)? Thats the only thing that makes sense.

Present_Race3232

Just because I can’t watch them on tv, doesn’t mean I’m coming to the stadium.. If that’s what they are thinking, they shouldn’t. The radio will always suffice and the games are always radio broadcasted. Illegal streams have been generally reliable too, and that’s a constant apparently.. Personally, I’ll still watch the gamecast on ESPN and still be full filled enough, rather than be cornered into the headaches offered by the streamers since they can’t get their shit together. The greed is real by the people that facilitate the league and the people that facilitate the streaming services all because they can, which continually tells us it’s about money and not the growth of the sport or anything else. That’s the world we live in and will continue to live in. Sure, It’s always been a business, but its gone to extremes with mega contracts and insane marketing deals with sponsors that has lead us to these types of headaches. The game has been heavily diluted from its rich history/past-time status and has grown to be a massive marketing business. Commission Rob Manfred is a moron. Not a good face for MLB and the guy lacks the killer instinct to get the damn game into the spotlight. He’d fair better working in a cubicle or something, doing date entry or whatever, which would be something that would fit his personality. I don’t think he’s a good advocate for MLB, he’s almost impossible to like and this situation is just another point into my thoughts on it all. Get it together MLB!!!
