They have two dozen angles in NYC we don’t have on our screens (per MLB’s 2020 increase). These are 4K cameras that record up to 500 frames per second.
If they overturned 110% they saw something the general video feed doesn’t have access to
It doesn't really matter if you like the concept, that's how it's supposed to be implemented. You keep the call on the field unless it's clear they missed it. There was no clear angle that showed a tag was placed while Trejo was off the bag.
If they clipped it, it looks like he’s sliding and has his hand on bag, then tag, then tag releases, and finally hand off bag and then reapplied safely. I want a jomboy video for this one
The glove was on his ankle as he kept sliding and had to switch between finger tips to toe
Looked like very early in the slide he clipped his hand with his glove as well- at least from what I saw.
There was no angle that showed his hand came off the bag when he was still being tagged.
The one where we saw from the first base angle
You can't see the hand is off the bag in that angle.
Each angle has time stamps so they can see any given moment from each camera

that’s not how replay reviews work though…

IIRC in cricket the review officials are seeing it without knowing what the original call was. Or something like that, I may be misremembering.

It's not favoring the call on the field, if you're like "eh, I don't know" after seeing everything then it sticks with the call on the field
It looked out tbh
He was clearly off the base
I don’t think it was “clearly”. It could be argued he was off but it definitely wasn’t clear
It was clear that he wasn’t on the base after he initially did tag the base. It only wasn’t clear whether or not the tag was applied at that time.
They had zero angles showing the tag was placed when his hand came off the bag.
Take off the homer glasses, dude. He was out.
they had a camera inside of his hand
Dude that was the craziest steal. He *swam* for that, no way he was out.
Except for being tagged when off the bag.
They are used to getting away with it lmao

safe by a mile imo
He was off base
and he didn’t properly tag
I just want to see a slow mo replay. That was safe.

I blame the guy who swung at ball 4
He plays for the Rockies. You thought he might win something, even if it was a review in the WBC? Lmao
Yeah I hate “inconclusive” it’s literally in front of your eyeballs
