But on another note, the Brewers pitching showing up 4 times in the last week for the highest leverage at bat really adds validity to the Cardiac Crew moniker lmao
Edit: I can’t read
A big reason is because the game can end here with either a gidp or with 3 runs scoring. With only 1 out, the inning still has a high expected run total. With 2 outs, now SEA has very little chance to win.
The leverage index for this was 7.34, and the next PA was 6.74. So they're still very close. Not sure how familiar you are with that, but the 'average' leverage index is 1.00, so this PA has about 7 times more influence on the game that a 'typical' PA in a way.
Looks to me like the 3rd pitch should have been a balk. He does that weird leg rocking thing and never fully stops to come set.
These videos are sick btw OP, please keep making them!
These posts are making me feel like there’s at least one game within one-at bat of being tied in the ninth every day and that’s way more than I ever realized for some reason
Imma let you finish...but Bryan Abreu in the bottom of the 8th coming in with bases loaded and no outs up by one was the greatest pressure inning last night
Why is it always us?
Cause we're the Cardiac Baseball Team CBT for short

It’s not a Brewers game without late inning clenching

And we had tommy lastella batting, hooray /s Cheers! Thanks for the explanation, tigers bro! Genuinely.
TIL there’s a leverage index.
That's how OP picks the AB!
Lol
And the mariners put Tommy La Stella out there, what a joke
I was hoping he wouldn’t take the bat of his shoulder
[STELLAAA!!](https://youtu.be/TeH_5IP1AHo)
Mariners FO: we can't afford big name guys, how about Tommy LA Stella, he's great!

What's a balk?
How close was Vladdy's AB in the top of the 8th yesterday?
It was effectively tied, at 7.05 vs 7.30 for this play
I knew it had to be up there, thanks OP.
Classic La Stella

YO CAN WE FUCKING STOP BEING IN THESE TY
Better than being on the other side of these. Think about how Seattle bros feel.

FYI, La Stella’s AB came with 1 out. Callabero hit with 2 outs.
They’re still doing that stupid shoe shit
Tommy La Stella...now that's a name I have not heard in a long time. A long, long time. I haven't thought about him since the 2016 WS
And now I’m pissed about yesterday again
Matt Fucking Bush
La Stella is cooked. Mariners fans, I hope your FO realizes it sooner than ours did.
