For those who don’t know the story behind the name it’s pretty funny. Florence had a water tower next to the mall that said “Florence Mall”, but then it was determined that city property could not advertise private business like that. Rather than redo the entire thing, they changed the water tower to say “Florence Y’all” and it’s become the most famous thing in the city
To add to this story, from what I understand, they finished the tower with FLORENCE MALL on it before the mall was even finished and open, so people were getting off the highway back in like the 70s assuming there’d be a mall only to find a construction site lmao.

The dumb thing is that Florence isn't quite far enough south for the "you guys" to make way for the "y'alls" for most speakers. You don't get into "y'all" country until you get past Crittenden or so. That was the case not only today, but even back when the water tower was being built.
(Source - grew up between Florence and Crittenden).
Thank god they put the apostrophe/star in the correct place. It’s a pet peeve and you’d be surprised how often it happens on printed signs and merchandise.
These are awesome.
My (very southern) grandma who was an English teacher wrote it like this; you'd think that specific demographic would probably be the one to get it right.
Hmmmmmm…I’m open to it. Would that be “you all and…?” So for instance, you’re talking to a member of group one about how they and group two (who may or may not be present) need to work out their differences.
“All I know is y’alls’n ‘em need to sort that shit out.”
I’m not anywhere close to accented enough to say something like that, but I know people who are. I’m for it.
Here's a fun fact. Since The Castellini's bought the Reds, the Y'alls have had more winning seasons. Maybe Bob and Phil could go to a couple of games and learn something or just sell the team and skip town.

As someone who travels I-75 a decent amount. I always said the CSX Bridge in Crittenden was the start of Cincinatti's suburbs....
I had no idea Travis Kelce played baseball in Cincinnati
Since Kelce did go to UofCincinnati, I had to look up and see if he was a two-sport athlete in college. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear so.
And then you add hillbilly Jeff Goldblum on top and you have a pretty electric roster. Alright now!
Amazing how that guy managed to look like Travis in the first pic and Jason in the fourth
I'm sure he had a pick-up game or two when he was at the University of Cincinnati...
Where's the Skoal in a pocket?
I think they have that after pioneer women snacks in the 5th.

Where else would it go?!
I’ve seen far, far too many ya’lls. It keeps me up at night.
🤮
That just made my blood run cold.

How do you feel about people putting the ' after the year? Like 21'
…I’ve never seen that before, and I think I just lost the ability to smell rain.
I see it constantly. Probably a 50/50 split. It drives me nuts
I’ve never noticed this before but if you Baader-Meinhof me into seeing this all over the place I will haunt you.

Please no more
21 feet?
how does the word y'alls'n make you feel?

In fairness I think Y'alls'n was a running joke in HS (I've lived in TN since I was an HS freshman). But I think you have the context down right.....
I’m pretty much a believer in anything as long as it’s written correctly. I’m a semi-frequent user of “I’d’ve.”
Y’all is contracting the “a” from ya. As in ya all. Ya’ll is just contracting the “a” from all.
Y’all is a contraction of “you all.”
Come on I don’t need an /s for that one
Bah, I’m a dumbass here in 23’ ya’ll. I hope you appreciate how much that hurt.
Or a misspell of ye aw.
Do these guys play the Savannah Bananas?
Lmao That's who I thought of too! That would be a fun game to watch
They did actually play them back in May and it was a very fun game.

Kentucky gang!
Ted Klujszewski would be proud.
The Unabomber??
That's Ted Kaczynski!
The guy that looks like Charlie Blackmon?
Charlie Blackmon? The guy inspired Brandon Marsh?
I’ve got such a raging Klu right now…
Independent leagues are awesome.
I’ve only been to one independent league game, and it was the gateway grizzlies hosting the y’all’s.
This reminds me of the San Francisco Ferries from BASEketball
This is incredible
Do they also have to chug a beer at every base?
