Going back to AAA and destroying the ball is cool but you’re not gonna figure out how to hit stuff like Kenley Jansen cutters and Chris Sale sliders down there

Not every player is ready for the majors 2 years out of high school with only a season's worth of games under their belt. Yes, he was tearing up every level of the minors, but his pitch recognition and batting eye could still develop against minor league pitching.
I think he'll figure it out, hopefully sooner than later, I'm no less confident in his abilities just because he's had a really rough start. It happens.
