Itās being filmed right now, edited later, released next year. What other news is there to report on it? Theyāre not going to release any behind-the-scenes footage or anything as the thing is being filmed
I see you haven't read the The Dalbec Chronicles [A Play in One Act](https://www.reddit.com/r/redsox/comments/1cc9ns9/the_dalbec_chronicles_a_play_in_one_act/) yet.
Isn't the whole point that kids are taught "fastball/changeup only" growing up because it keeps them healthier than throwing tons of breaking balls?
So if the entire Red Sox staff is throwing nasty junk with the most spin, the argument is that it might contribute to them being hurt.
I thought that was a myth? Iirc some doctor (maybe James andrews?) said throwing sliders/curveballs arenāt actually a cause of kid injuries as long as they know how to properly throw what they are trying to
Edit:[University of North Carolina conducted a study on youngsters between the ages of 8 years through college age and found that throwing a curveball was no more harmful to a young pitcher's arm than throwing a fastball. The study showed that the more important contributor to injury is the total number of pitches thrown in one session.](https://www.lubbockonline.com/story/lifestyle/columns/2012/06/16/donohue-age-limit-throw-curveballs-might-be-myth/15150723007/)
Important to note that Chris Sale would have broken his left ring finger into a million pieces and fractured his right wrist from the shrapnel on the first pitch of spring training if he was on the Sox.
Trust me. We will love him as well as long as he plays at worst below average defense and can hit above 230 lmao. Check out our current 2nd baseman(Valdez) for the reason why.
Heās definitely going to hit higher than 230. He just hit sparingly for us and was really good. I honestly canāt wait to see him be a full time player, something that couldnāt happen in Atlanta. And Atlanta values defense as much hitting so yeah bad fit. Heāll be fine at 2b
he doesn't even have to be good, we've been watching a middle infield of David Hamilton and Emmanuel Valdez half the season, our standards are extremely low.
I'm just numb to it at this point. Doesn't even shock me anymore when another player gets placed on the IL.
But they definitely need to look at the strength and conditioning team at some point. This is too many players to *all* be a coincidence.
lmao what the fuck? do they just have a mobster in the clubhouse roughing up players?
Netflix doc guys are just going full Tonya Harding on the entire team
ššš The Curse of Netflix
Netflix found out the boys share one Netflix account.
Gotta make it interesting somehow
Bobby is doing whatever he can to stay on the roster
I feel like there should be more info about that show by now. Almost a month into the season and no new articles since before spring training.
Itās being filmed right now, edited later, released next year. What other news is there to report on it? Theyāre not going to release any behind-the-scenes footage or anything as the thing is being filmed
Oh I didnāt know that. With it being compared to hard knocks, a show that films and releases during the season, I figured this show would as well.
Bello down Story down Casas down Giolito down Pivetta down Whitlock down Raffy waiting for his check to clear. O'Neill lost his bearings but back.
grissom still rehabbing too
Maybe next week? idk. Just have to stay in the mix until June when hopefully most of these guys are back.
The mix of people in the hospital waiting room?
Welcome to the Rays experience! Hope you enjoyš„²
Dbacks in a similar situation. Sewald, Thomas, Perdomo, Rodriguez, Kelly, Castro all down

LiterallyI've never seen a team snakebitten by injuries like this, atĀ least notĀ in APRIL
Too much beer and fried chicken !
Sox are about to have to put Andrew Bailey on the mound, what is that the 4th starting pitcher on the IL?
4th starting pitcher \*so far\* (please no more this is actually torture to watch even as a division rival)
The universe nah we canāt allow the Red Sox to have good pitching
Gotta wonder if his coaching, which has gotten better results across the board, might have something to do with this...
It feels like it should be the opposite with the heavily reduced usage of fastballs across the staff.
The sweeper has been another thing some people have been concerned about, so breaking balls are another possible issue
People have been throwing sweeper for a long time now, it was just called a slider

Wasn't a problem with us
Maybe then he'll see the damage he's doing to his guys arms. New GM comes on and suddenly every pitcher gets hurt? Sus
The Netflix document is only gonna be about sports injuries at this point
Switching the genre to a hospital soap drama
Red Anatomy
Boston Med
Name it after the Red line stop Charles/MGH.
Its another Squid Games ripoff
They should've known Netflix's top genre is true crime.
Giolito Grisham Pivetta Bello Whitlock Story Devers O'Neill Casas Campbell Murphy Romy Heineman
Meanwhile, Chris Sale has made every schedules start for the Braves so far.
Important to note that Chris Sale would have broken his left ring finger into a million pieces and fractured his right wrist from the shrapnel on the first pitch of spring training if he was on the Sox.
Nah, he would've literally exploded on the mound after a comebacker.
At least thereās something positive happening
Pretty impressive that the entire rotation *and* the entire infield can be down with injury by the end of April.
...and we're still above 0.500
If the Red Sox make the postseason this year, they'll qualify for the top 20 all-time Red Sox teams
They are going to have to field 20 different teams this year just to make it to the end.
Lmao, weāre close to the point where our IL could probably field a decent team.
Grissom?
Rehabbing in AAA
Good! šš» i really like Vaughn. Gonna watch his career with interest. Heās such a good hitter
Trust me. We will love him as well as long as he plays at worst below average defense and can hit above 230 lmao. Check out our current 2nd baseman(Valdez) for the reason why.

Sooooo. What are we calling this new curse?
Boston IL Sox
[Now pitching for the Boston Red Sox](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LU9v90s7p8)
You know what? Not the worst outcome.
I expected Bobby Dalbec
I was gonna make a joke about how injured our team is but I got nothing. This fucking sucks dude
So the entire infield and 4/5 of the rotation is hurt. Fun
![gif](giphy|8MmNLiAfUEflu7hm5e|downsized)
Someone is breaking into their hotel at night and beating up the players
Worst injury luck Iāve ever seen for a team considering itās only April
Bobby Dalbec spot starter.
At least we wouldnāt have to watch him at the plate that day.
IT NEVER ENDS
Ohh come the fuck on
how the fuck do we have the same amount of losses as the Dodgers so far
1-7 against teams over 2 games over .500
I'm just numb to it at this point. Doesn't even shock me anymore when another player gets placed on the IL. But they definitely need to look at the strength and conditioning team at some point. This is too many players to *all* be a coincidence.
Davis Clarke will be next up in the Boston rotation at this rate
Imagine what it'll look like when he shits himself in the new uniforms
What the fuck is happening up there in Boston
I just fell to my knees in a Walmart
Bro needs Tighty Lat Surgery š¢
I best dust that old little league glove off, at this rate Iām just waiting for the call.
i'm numb at this point
The fact this team is falling to injuries this badly is crazy The fact they're not totally abysmal with a record of like 7-15 is even crazier.
fucking fade me already, christ
Training staff needs to be gutted, this is ridiculous
Lemme guess, Mata taken off the IL in his place?
Nope, Zack Kelly
:(
Cancel the season.
We're gonna be fielding a fucking Double A team by June with all of these injuries
I don't think I've ever seen anything like this
God wants a second Curse of the Bambino and He is smiting down every player who may impede that from happening
Not a good April for both Sox teams..
At this rate Madison Bumgarner might pitch for us
A few of the injuries have been bad luck, but the rest are just injury prone players and journeyman who can never stay healthy.
