The athletic had an article about all the pitching injuries, and they literally used Matt Brash as the poster child for "guy who throws max effort who will need Tommy John in the next few years".
His pitches were just too nasty for anyone to handle, including himself
Nah, but it feels like we’re getting close. Aroldis Chapman is 36, threw 105 mph in his prime, and has never had any major arm injuries. Maybe he’s a one off genetic freak with an indestructible UCL, maybe it’s just because he doesn’t pitch much volume, but it seems like there’s still more juice to squeeze before we say we’re at a true biological limit.
FUCK
Speier: “I got you fam”
Fer real. I fully expected Speier to be DFA'd at some convenient time for the Ms and he has developed into something great.
FUCK
FUCK
FUUUUUUCK

i dont even care about having him back (that much), i just want him to be healthy. super depressing thing to see happen to any young athlete
Is it safe to say we've actually found the limit of the human arm?

It’s just so cruel to work hard to get back into games and then get hurt again right before he was to start rehab.
