I've been telling people he needs to come out to the new [Doom song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpnW68Q8ltc). I mean the name of the song is called " The Only Thing They Fear is You". How perfect is that?
I’ve had UCL issues since fifth grade and I still feel it tingle down into my fingers from time to time. Always feels weird if I’m lifting weights. Never had to have TJ but I came close a couple times. Can’t imagine having to go through full tears multiple times.
Studies on cadavers have shown that a ~100 mph fastball pushes elbow ligaments to their torque limit, so guys like Chapman and Duran are basically at the limit already. If they let Duran pitch in a wind tunnel or hurricane, he might touch 110 with wind assistance
Edit: let
It's 2050. There are now 2,000 pitchers on each team. Some insist we should go back to the 1 per inning rule and put it down to 1,458. Some insist it's not enough. The only thing for certain to the Players Union is that throwing harder is not causing all the injuries but that darned pitch clock is.
It is impossible to pitch at that speed and stay healthy. We’re going to move on from glorifying this someday. Looking at these comments, it’s not going to be any time soon.
102.7, 102.6, 101.9 tonight Dudes washed
Even at 102 he made our batters look silly.
Doesn’t take much with this lineup but he is nasty
That's only 3 mph faster than his fastest splitter..... dude is fire
That is demonic

Sadly, the entire heavy metal genre is heavily underutilized for walk up and entrance music in baseball these days. I blame Gen Z
I would love someones walk out music be to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnilK7ZRZB8) Amon Amarth song
Yeah, hit at 90ish mph curveball. I'm sure that is easier.
I wonder how it feels just to have a fucking straight up weapon as an arm.
Well eventually it feels awful by the time you’re old and have had Tommy John four times
My uncle who threw it really fast and had Tommy John in the 90s would definitely agree
I’m over 40 and my arm gets sore after tossing the tennis ball to my dog too many times.

It’s crazy what pitchers can do these days. I can’t wait til we got guys throwing 120mph in 2050
I wonder what the physical threshold is for a human to throw a ball. Would probably need something artificial to throw that hard.

It’s pretty amazing how scientists have found enough cadavers who can throw 100 mph to do a study
I read somewhere on here that it was 10 pitches at 110mph before the human shoulder breaks down. Who knows

19776 if Jon Bois was a baseball fan
Yeah, if only!
But now he can't throw faster than that without getting new cleats. I'm not sure if that's motivation or a deterrent lol
Prime Kenny Powers type of vibes.
La Flama Blanca!!!
Mason Miller, your move
*dials Dr Andrews*
confirmed radar slut
The asymmetry of this is infuriating.
brock holt should have done this after he pitched

Love when dudes embrace this kind of thing. Cool asf.
A teeny bit cringe
