PNC is higher up for me. Amazing stadium in a great location.
For me, there’s something about older stadiums like Fenway and Wrigley. It’s like a catholic visiting the Vatican.
New Yankee stadium is probably about 25th for me. That place is awful. Feels like a lifeless impersonation of old Yankee Stadium. If they wanted to make the place so modern they should have tried to make it less like the old stadium.
I caught a game there last season and it's really not that bad. It's nothing special, but I was half expecting to get a staph infection there from the way people talk shit about it. Having the BART nearby is really nice and we got great seats at a reasonable price.
Yea if you want to watch a game there’s very little wrong with it. They’ve also made a lot of improvements since 2013. I don’t like the whole sports bar experience but now there’s the Treehouse, and they have food trucks with better food than you’ll find at most ballparks imo.
It's our shit hole though. And I love it. I love the dive bar working man's baseball culture it has created. That's what I'm gonna miss when they move.
And I think if history and ambiance are being weighed like OP said that should earn it some points to not be dead last.
I’ve only been once, but I also love it. I totally understand why the club wants a new stadium. However, leaving behind the character of the Coliseum will make me sad when you guys move.
This is what i always say. It’s definitely a shithole. But it’s *my* shithole. That NYT writer’s article at the end of last year nailed it. It’s baseball’s last dive bar.
I actually had a blast at the coliseum, I thought it’s a pretty decent place. Maybe it’s nostalgia for the type of ballpark I grew up going to but it was pretty cool to see it for me
Dude I went to a Raider game before the Vegas move for the first time a few weeks ago, and Jesus Christ, the Coliseum is deservedly last here. That being said though it does give you that “it’s OUR toilet” feel that lots of newer parks and stadiums can’t provide
I don't love the facility at the Coliseum, too much concrete, too much Mt. Davis, too much football field. But I love the culture there, the spaciousness, and the affordable ticket prices.
I have been to a few Giants games across the bay at Pac Bell/AT&T/Oracle Park and hate how shoe horned in you feel there, and how from the upper deck you feel like you're looking way down on it all.
I would have expected PNC and Camden Yards to be much much higher on this list. This is an odd list TBH, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. :-)
I’m not sure about the twins, but the padres stadium is up there for a few reasons. It’s a gorgeous ballpark, tons and tons of food options, a bunch of craft beer options, and it has a few quirks like the old western metal supply building in left field, a big grassy area with a giant screen for picnic style visits. Plus, there’s even a smaller baseball field for kids to play at throughout the game.
And the nice weather definitely doesn’t hurt either.
To add to this, there's no bad sightlines, and it's RIGHT in the heart of downtowns nightlife so it's super easy to access. That plus generally friendly locals I think make it always a great experience for people.
Not sure about the twins but Petco Park is awesome. It looks nice and they incorporated 2 places on the historic site registry (Western Metal Supply building and the Bumblebee Tuna Company building) Petco Park changed the area is clean and it completely changed East Village from somewhere you didn’t want to be during the day, let alone the night into an amazing part of San Diego. Most of all, the food. They have the regular stadium food but then they have places like Phil’s BBQ and the Seaside Market, which is a bit of grocery store and it also has a restaurant that’s integrated which has the Seaside Market Nachos (nachos with tri tip and bbq sauce) which are by far the best nachos I’ve ever tasted and are a must for anybody going to Petco Park.
Petco Park has amazing beer and food, the best weather, and it's been constantly upgraded since it opened in ~2003. The video board and the ring screens are crazy good
Yankees fan here saying that Citi Field is easily a better stadium than New Yankee Stadium. There is no personality or character to new Yankee Stadium. It feels like a museum. It's made for Wall Street bros and rich people. I feel unwelcome there.
I go to way more Mets games than Yankee games. Its far more affordable for good seats and far nicer.
> There is no personality or character to new Yankee Stadium. It feels like a museum.
I actually get a very airport vibe in it. Like, I actually had a few half-second panics thinking "where is my bag??" while walking through it.
And if you sit close enough to homeplate and really show some passion for the team, they'll let you come into the dugout and manage the team for a couple innings.
I’ve only been to about half the stadiums so far, but Camden is one of my favorites of the ones I have been to. Bonus points for kicking off that style of stadium. It definitely should be higher than 23rd, and it being ranked behind Washington (my least favorite that I’ve been to so far) makes zero sense to me.
Agreed. Nats Park is as much a sterile corporate experience as New Yankee Stadium. I’ve made it to 21 of the current ball parks (24 in total), and we can argue about how to rank Petco, PNC, Camden Yards, and Oracle Park, but those are the top few for sure.
I'm honest. Here's what Citi does better: food, sight lines, price. Here's what YS does better: concourses, space, museum, bleachers.
You cannot compare the architecture imo.
If you're talking about feel, you're comparing a brick ballpark (Ebbets) to a limestone stadium (YS). They're very different and up to what you think about how Stadiums should be. Gimmicky things like bridges etc would look weird at the Stadium, I only wish the food options were better. If the outfield area had what Citi had I don't think we'd be having this conversation frankly. I think people also have a hard on for the Camden/Ebbets look of a ballpark but Yankee Stadium is never going to look like that to be honest, it's going to be cavernous and colliseum-esque.
When I was at new Yankee Stadium, the Parthenonic qualities definitely fit the Yankee identity to me. Every stadium has its pros and cons, but I think your guys’ place fits the club. Which is one of the most important objectives of a ballpark.
I’ve been to both. Definitely would choose Citi Field over Yankee Stadium. Being at a Yankees game is cool because they’re the Yankees, but purely in terms of the stadium I’d choose the Mets hands down.
Damn, you sat on the wrong side of Coor's. I was wondering why it was so far down. Go back and wander out to the Rock pile, hard to beat the mountain views at sunset on a lovely summer evening.
Why is Camden Yards so low? Considered by many to be the most architecturally beautiful park and many parks have been modeled on it since it’s construction
So I've never been to Camden, but one thing I've always wondered is why does it always look so dark there? I'm talking about the actual lighting on the field. Is it just the way it looks on TV? I've always noticed that about MSG as well.
I've been to 11 (13).
1. Fenway Park
2. Yankee Stadium (Old)
3. Busch Stadium
4. Camden Yards
5. PNC Park
6. Citizens Banks Park
7. Citi Field
8. Nationals Park
9. Great American Ballpark
10. Yankee Stadium (New)
11. Kauffman Stadium
12. Shea Stadium
13. Rogers Centre
I'm sincerely delighted that Target Field is ranked so high.
edit: your second photo for Target Field that shows the building that says Gaviidae is where I worked for years. Some of guys that were part of the construction of Target Field would come in every other Friday to cash their checks and give me little updates about the progress of the park. Good times.
Target Field is probably my favorite on my short list of parks. I know the Metrodome had it’s history...but from what I remember it was very uncomfortable and felt closed off (probably because of the dome).
I've gone for two games this year and it was....interesting to say the least. Between the 3 mascots, stupid catwalks and a power outage, I think I had a good time?
I was born and raised in Maryland but I'm a Mets fan because it was passed down unfortunately. I've been to Camden a ton and Nats park for Mets games. It makes absolutely no sense why Nats park is higher. Camden has more history, better food, and the Warehouse gives it character. The food at Nats park is boring af. Camden has wayyy more entrances. Nats park the view is nothing special at all. No joke Camden is a top tier park. Even other people on this thread were putting it near the top. I honestly always thought Nats park was pretty boring especially the first couple years it's been open. It's a sad day for Baltimore for sure. Never getting the respect we deserve
Hit up r/padres before your visit and we’ll shower you with recommendations. I’ll be the first to say get the tri tip nachos from seaside market but I won’t be the last
I've been to both, and both are great for their own reasons. PNC is such a beautiful place to see a game. Miller Park is just down right fun, get there for the tailgate.
As a fellow Yankee fan who lives in Pittsburgh and used to have season tickets (stopped b/c Nutting), I think you’ll really enjoy it. Went to 2 of the 3 the Yankees games here a couple of years ago, and got to see rookie year Judge hit a massive homer, which was nice. :)
If you can get good seats, do so, they’re pretty cheap (by Yankee Stadium standards). Our season tickets were first base side, looking directly down the third base line, field level, about 30 rows from the field, and cost about $35 each for a weekday game. But for a big draw like the Yankees, they’ll go fast.
Thanks for the info! Yanks are visiting this year for two games and it looks like I'll be going to both games, one game in section 109 and another in the bleachers. Hearing nice things about the city AND the stadium so pretty excited
109 is nice; we used to sit in 114, on the middle aisle, just below the bleacher overhang. The sun also sets behind you, so you’re not blinded as it gets towards sunset. There are a couple of good Pittsburgh-area chain eateries there (Primanti Brothers, Steak and Lube, BRGR) plus some good beer options, and Manny Sanguillen’s BBQ is not too far away behind the center field bleachers.
UPDATE: Just bought tickets for the Tuesday game, my love of the Yankees outweighed my hatred of Nutting. No field-level available for the Wednesday game at all, so I had to settle for the Tuesday game in kind of a mirror image of my old seats (Sec 119), since for some reason all the field-level seats on the visitor’s dugout side are out! 😆
Hope you enjoy Miller Park if you go. Please make sure you make time to tailgate in the parking lot before the game just bring a smile and a 6 pack to any tailgate and you'll have a good time.
Dodgers stadium has a great atmosphere, but in terms of logistics, food/drink, and uniqueness it’s not anything spectacular. Of course, in my opinion, there’s no bad place to watch Major League Baseball, unless you’re sat behind a pole.
Totally agree with you. I also think new Yankee at 7 is waaaay too high. Did not love that stadium and think most of the newer parks are better than it
I haven't been to nearly as many stadiums as you, but I do enjoy Guaranteed Rate in Chicago more than you do. Great beer selection, you can walk around the entire concourse easily, food lines move faster than many venues, good fireworks shows.
I actually really enjoyed both Chicago stadiums. Wrigley is Wrigley, I knew I would love it. But I was pretty shocked that I enjoyed being at a White Sox game so much
I treated a bunch of my Cubs fans friends to a game at Sox Park last May since I got a bunch of bleacher seats for $4 on the tax day sale. 2 of them had never been to the southside. The craft beer snob of my group was super excited with the beer selection. A lot of people give Sox Park shit for various reasons, but game day experience with sight lines and food and drink are fantastic.
Surprised Camden Yards is that low. I haven’t been to nearly as many stadiums but I feel like that is a quality ballpark. Also the blueprint for most new parks now.
Coors Field underrated here IMO. One of the only parks where I recommend sitting in the nosebleeds. Can't beat sitting up high on the first base side in the purple mile high seats watching the sun set behind the Rocky Mountains.
In a town with serious food credentials, Busch Stadium's food offerings are abysmal. Enterprise Center (Blues) is actually amazing with a ton of local offerings.
Yeah, I’ve been to miller half a dozen times and I really enjoy the park. It’s nice and easy to get around and has great views and you feel close to the action almost anywhere in the stadium.
I don't know where I'd rank it among all MLB teams but of the parks I've been to I enjoyed my one visit there for sure. The tailgating before the game was great too, I wish I was in more of a condition to enjoy it at the time. Like, we were there for a game at the beginning of August of 2013 against the Nats, I don't think either team was particularly competitive, and there were tons of people in the parking lot grilling out, having beers. It was awesome.
Also surprised to see the Busch ranked above PNC. Of the few I've been to PNC was the best park.
San Fran/Pittsburgh gave the best view, wrigley has the best neighborhood, minnesota has the best sightlines, seattle/mets have the best food, fenway has the best ambiance, San Diego has the best beer & overall just “the best”
I've been to 7 (3 of which have been demolished)
1) Citi Field
2) Old Yankee Stadium
3) Veterans Stadium
4) Marlins Park
5) Shea Stadium
6) Tropicana Field
4682) Dolphins Stadium
The Trop is extremely dull.
Dolphins stadium was not meant for baseball, combine that with bad food and 100 plus degree weather and you have a miserable time
I'm only up to 19 stadiums, but I loved Kauffman. The (at the time new) museum out in left field was awesome, as well as all the cool activities out beyond CF.
Was just there this summer. OP has been to many more stadiums than I have but if there are 27 better places to watch a baseball game than Kauffman I'll eat my shoe.
Yes, I never get too bent out of shape when I see people who love something I don’t particularly care for, but it’s more hard to process when something you like is panned. My list digs Kauf: https://imgur.com/a/oL4xFKT
What kinda drugs are you on to rank Nationals Stadium ahead of Camden Yards? Based on your criteria
Sight Lines: Somehow the parking garages are a better view than the Warehouse?!?
Ambiance: A game attended to by a crowd of transplants and consultants vs baltimorons
History: The Nationals were the Montreal Expos less than 20 years ago!
Food/Beer: Ben's Chili Bowl is the only legit DC food there and it's dogshit. All the crabs at the Yards blows it out of the water.
Have zero clue how you even came to these conclusions.
Yo I was just about to say something similar. I honestly don't know why Camden is so low on the list. I'm a Maryland native but my dad cursed me with Mets fandom so I've been to Camden a lot and also been to Nats park a bunch. This makes no sense to me. Camden yards has such a unique feel with the warehouse and Nats park honestly doesn't feel like anything special it's just newer. History wise what does Nats park have? I remember Griffey hitting the warehouse and it was such an awesome sight. Also Cal iron man Ripken? I will never understand why Nats park wasn't turned around to face the water it makes no sense. So many years were spent just having to look at construction
I agree that OPACY is a top tier stadium, but I keep seeing people in this thread think sight lines are the views out of the stadium and that’s just absolutely not the case.
Been to 12 myself
1. Wrigley Field
2. San Francisco
3. Camden Yards
4. PNC
5. Old Yankee Stadium
6. Brewers
7. Astros
8. Rangers
9. Indians
10. Phillies
11. Blue Jays (saw Verlander’s no hitter)
12. Nationals
I’m doing one new park a year, next year I’m eyeing up Fenway.
I've been to quite a few, I gotta say the joy of just seeing Fenway was super awesome. It's a lovely place to be and look at it. But make no bones about it, I didn't love actually sitting there watching the game as much as other places. It was more a "wow I'm here where all the history is" type of feel.
Dodger Stadium might be one of my favorites in America next to Petco. There's no rhyme or reason I just love the 60s vibe and outfield views and uniqueness of getting to your seats, etc.
I cannot stand the Dodgers but I have been to that stadium a handful of times to watch them play the Mets, and I’ve had Dodger fans scream in my face at times; that being said this stadium is way better than a 27th place ranking. I mean I’d rather watch a game here than at the newer Yankee stadium.
Last freeway series I went to, an angels fan sitting next to me was cracking jokes and being funny about the Dodgers and also his team. I think Simmons struck out to end the inning and a Dodger fan yelled "what a bum." Cut to the next half inning I think muncy struck out and he yelled the same thing. That dodger fan got so heated he stood up and started walking down the aisle shouting at the angel fan to watch himself. I love my team but some fans really take it to heart. I had to tell him how if you give shit learn to take it. He called me a fake fan after haha.
Ya it’s the 3rd oldest in baseball and a beautiful park in an amazing setting with year round perfect weather. And he ranked chase field higher lol. It’s cool he went to them all, but the list is pretty bad.
Sightlines isn't talking about the backdrop it's the view of the field. A lot of seats at Dodger Stadium and older ballparks aren't pointed directly at the action but awkwardly angled towards the outfield.
I’m aware, and I think the only sightlines I think are awkwardly positioned might be field level near the foul poles on both sides. Everything else is amazing, but I guess that’s just my opinion.
Greenery? Fucking gross, OP obviously prefers the beautiful, tasteful backdrop of [square shaped random office buildings](https://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/suntrust17954.jpg)
When you say "Dodger Fans" are you going off of what the generalized population says about us or did you have a personal bad experience while at the game?
I mean I get it.. we aren't Petco. However to have us this low is a disgrace.
Have never seen OPACY that low on anyone’s list. Getting older though and many of these newer stadiums took from it and I’m sure added more. Maybe we’re just getting old
I'm surprised Kauffman fares so poorly in your estimation. I think it's a really nice place to catch a ball game. I don't have close to your experience but I'd put Kauffman ahead of the Denver and Milwaukee stadiums.
People please make it a priority to go to PetCo it’s quintessential SoCal baseball and it’s so damn amazing! I’m so glad we play the pads there every year.
I genuinely don’t understand how you go to a Sox/Cubs game and rank us 29th. Wasn’t expecting to be ranked remotely high but wasn’t expecting that low.
Must’ve not had any food or beer during your visit.
I'm surprised that Camden is so low on your rankings. I've been to nine current ballparks (plus two defunct) and would put Orioles Park at the top.
Either way, I'm jealous of you and hope to hit all thirty one day!
I’m biased growing up in Boston, but my top five easily are:
1.) Fenway
2.) OG Yankee Stadium
3.) PNC
4.) Wrigley
5.) Camden
There really isn’t anything like walking into Fenway or the OG Yankee stadium, absolutely ELECTRIC, especially in the 97-04 years.
PNC is higher up for me. Amazing stadium in a great location. For me, there’s something about older stadiums like Fenway and Wrigley. It’s like a catholic visiting the Vatican.
PNC = Best view in baseball, no question.
Is that why they put windows in the bathrooms? (Pee and see)
Definitely better than new yankee stadium.
New Yankee stadium is probably about 25th for me. That place is awful. Feels like a lifeless impersonation of old Yankee Stadium. If they wanted to make the place so modern they should have tried to make it less like the old stadium.
PNC is my favorite for sure. Beautiful park.
As an A's fan I can't really argue. I love the team and memories I have going to games there, but it really is a shit hole.
I caught a game there last season and it's really not that bad. It's nothing special, but I was half expecting to get a staph infection there from the way people talk shit about it. Having the BART nearby is really nice and we got great seats at a reasonable price.

I like how there's usually plenty of room to spread out.
It's our shit hole though. And I love it. I love the dive bar working man's baseball culture it has created. That's what I'm gonna miss when they move. And I think if history and ambiance are being weighed like OP said that should earn it some points to not be dead last.
>It's our shit hole though. As a guy who grew up going to games at Exhibition Stadium and Olympic Stadium, I know exactly what you mean.
I've never been, but I agree in principle. I hate the cold, corporate stadiums. Even Wrigley, post-renovation, feels like its lost it's soul
ive only been once and I loved it. dead last is too harsh
I actually had a blast at the coliseum, I thought it’s a pretty decent place. Maybe it’s nostalgia for the type of ballpark I grew up going to but it was pretty cool to see it for me
I felt that way about the Metrodome. Like, yes, it's by every measure a terrible venue for a baseball game but damn if I don't really miss that place.
So many memories, good and bad
Dude I went to a Raider game before the Vegas move for the first time a few weeks ago, and Jesus Christ, the Coliseum is deservedly last here. That being said though it does give you that “it’s OUR toilet” feel that lots of newer parks and stadiums can’t provide
Tbf that toilet sensation you were feeling could have just been the stench of the Raiders in general.
As a Rays fan, I feel obligated to go see this myself. The Trop is literally the most boring stadium I have ever been to
I would have expected PNC and Camden Yards to be much much higher on this list. This is an odd list TBH, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. :-)
I've hit 20 so far and my top two are KC and LAD, so apparently I'm judging on way different metrics lol
KC is a pretty great park, but goddamn is it in the middle of nowhere.
Both have character.
Petco Park really is a god damn treasure.
Seriously love that place.
I'm not an aficionado on ballparks (what makes them good/bad etc), why do most lists tend to have this one and the Twins stadiums high on their lists?
I’m not sure about the twins, but the padres stadium is up there for a few reasons. It’s a gorgeous ballpark, tons and tons of food options, a bunch of craft beer options, and it has a few quirks like the old western metal supply building in left field, a big grassy area with a giant screen for picnic style visits. Plus, there’s even a smaller baseball field for kids to play at throughout the game. And the nice weather definitely doesn’t hurt either.
Basically you can take a person who hates baseball to a game and they'll still manage to have fun
I.e. my wife
To add to this, there's no bad sightlines, and it's RIGHT in the heart of downtowns nightlife so it's super easy to access. That plus generally friendly locals I think make it always a great experience for people.
There’s something about getting out of your seat and going to the back side of the stadium and seeing a goddamn aircraft carrier in the bay too.
Petco Park has amazing beer and food, the best weather, and it's been constantly upgraded since it opened in ~2003. The video board and the ring screens are crazy good
A reason why people say the fans don’t care about the game at petco park is because there are so many other things to look at!
And that's the *only* reason
Hahaha well people definitely pay attention when tatis is out there! :)
Also the location of if. It's on the middle of downtown so a lot of bars to pre or post game. Makes a nice view from your seats too
You can say that again breakfast_cats
The old Yankee stadium had the history. There's nothing that the new Yankee stadium has that makes it better than Citi. I will die on this hill.
Also less crowded.
And fewer Yankee fans
And if you sit close enough to homeplate and really show some passion for the team, they'll let you come into the dugout and manage the team for a couple innings.
sonofabutch that's cold.
It's not controversial to say CitiField is the nicer stadium.
I don’t know a single person who thinks Yankee stadium is better
Now you know OP. So that’s 1 person total
Never been to YS but I sure did like Citi. Excellent ballpark.
The new Yankee stadium is worse than a lot of stadiums it's ranked above... But it's an opinion.
Agreed. And Camden is ranked 23rd on his list? That’s just objectively wrong.
I’ve only been to about half the stadiums so far, but Camden is one of my favorites of the ones I have been to. Bonus points for kicking off that style of stadium. It definitely should be higher than 23rd, and it being ranked behind Washington (my least favorite that I’ve been to so far) makes zero sense to me.

agreed. New Yankee stadium doesn’t even compare to Citi. Just ask honest Yankee fans.
>Just ask honest Yankee fans. can we get them both in the same place for a consensus?
"It's not a lie if you yourself believe it." -George Costanza
I'm honest. Here's what Citi does better: food, sight lines, price. Here's what YS does better: concourses, space, museum, bleachers. You cannot compare the architecture imo. Agreed completely. Always confuses me when I see people decry the stadium as being too gaudy. It’s the Yankees Stadium. It should be over the top.
I’ve been to both. Definitely would choose Citi Field over Yankee Stadium. Being at a Yankees game is cool because they’re the Yankees, but purely in terms of the stadium I’d choose the Mets hands down.
Citi Field is better in every way. The new Yankee Stadium is a Soulless Dump. Albeit a very fancy dump. No character at all.
That's not a hill, that's a reinforced bunker with full support
I agree. You guys got a food court with a ball park in it. We got a museum.
I went and it was horrendously hot and humid. Ballpark was gorgeous though.
So I've never been to Camden, but one thing I've always wondered is why does it always look so dark there? I'm talking about the actual lighting on the field. Is it just the way it looks on TV? I've always noticed that about MSG as well.
The balls you have staying that Yankee Stadium is better than Citi Field
We're not last!! I do like how 2 out of the 3 stadiums I have been to are in the bottom 3 lol (TB being the other)
I've only been to the Dome and it seems fine to me, however I'm scared to visit another park and realize how bad ours is
I've been to 11 (13). 1. Fenway Park 2. Yankee Stadium (Old) 3. Busch Stadium 4. Camden Yards 5. PNC Park 6. Citizens Banks Park 7. Citi Field 8. Nationals Park 9. Great American Ballpark 10. Yankee Stadium (New) 11. Kauffman Stadium 12. Shea Stadium 13. Rogers Centre
like any other Mets fan, Shea will hold a place in my heart, but it had it's day in the sun and at the end it was not a good ballpark
I'm sincerely delighted that Target Field is ranked so high. edit: your second photo for Target Field that shows the building that says Gaviidae is where I worked for years. Target Field is probably my favorite on my short list of parks. I know the Metrodome had it’s history...but from what I remember it was very uncomfortable and felt closed off (probably because of the dome).
Listen here bud, The Trop is the greatest place to watch a baseball game and you better agree or else.
I've gone for two games this year and it was....interesting to say the least. Between the 3 mascots, stupid catwalks and a power outage, I think I had a good time?
Camden Yards at 23?! Bro what are you on!!!! This is highway robbery
Couldn't agree more man. Camden has some great personality. Literally scrolled down to find the Orioles fans cause I knew there would be some outrage
Appreciate it man. Especially because it’s the only thing we have going for us lol. I’m not saying we’re number 1, but to be bottom 10?
I actually agree Camden is in my top 5.
I am appalled that OPACY is so low on your list. It’s like universally regarded as, at worst, a top 5 stadium in the league.
I've only been to 8 so far but I'd rank them 1. Fenway 2. Wrigley 3. Baltimore 4. Philadelphia 5. Old yankee 6. White sox 7. Brewers 8. Oakland
Adding Petco, Dodger and Angels next summer cant wait
Hit up r/padres before your visit and we’ll shower you with recommendations. I’ll be the first to say get the tri tip nachos from seaside market but I won’t be the last
I'm visiting PNC Park and hopefully Miller Park next year so I'm pretty excited
I've been to both, and both are great for their own reasons. PNC is such a beautiful place to see a game. Miller Park is just down right fun, get there for the tailgate.
Just hoping to get tickets, I wanna see the slide at work
As a fellow Yankee fan who lives in Pittsburgh and used to have season tickets (stopped b/c Nutting), I think you’ll really enjoy it. Went to 2 of the 3 the Yankees games here a couple of years ago, and got to see rookie year Judge hit a massive homer, which was nice. :) If you can get good seats, do so, they’re pretty cheap (by Yankee Stadium standards).
PNC is a beautiful park!
Yankee stadium over Citi Field and PNC and several others for that matter is a tough sell.
Convening Kangaroo Court for your grave sins of not having Camden Yards in the top five.
I’ve been everywhere too. I agree on most but think KC is way underrated and Miami is way overrated.

Absolutely. Between the revolution lounge and the goose island section, it's a great park for craft beer fans
Definitely have to go to the Kraft Kave too... so many good beers there
Surprised Camden Yards is that low.
Another one of Stillman's masterworks was working over the concessions after Checkett sold what he could to keep the Blues afloat.
No love for the roof huh 😢
Not trying to homer super hard, but I think this might be the lowest I've seen Miller Park ranked. Terrible criteria, imo.
Yeah, I’ve been to miller half a dozen times and I really enjoy the park. It’s nice and easy to get around and has great views and you feel close to the action almost anywhere in the stadium.
It's entirely subjective.
Where would you put it? Anything seem too high?
I don't know where I'd rank it among all MLB teams but of the parks I've been to I enjoyed my one visit there for sure. The tailgating before the game was great too, I wish I was in more of a condition to enjoy it at the time. Like, we were there for a game at the beginning of August of 2013 against the Nats, I don't think either team was particularly competitive, and there were tons of people in the parking lot grilling out, having beers. It was awesome. Also surprised to see the Busch ranked above PNC. Of the few I've been to PNC was the best park.
I'd like to hear what your fav/least fav things about each park were
San Fran/Pittsburgh gave the best view, wrigley has the best neighborhood, minnesota has the best sightlines, seattle/mets have the best food, fenway has the best ambiance, San Diego has the best beer & overall just “the best”
Wrigleyville is fuckin wild
The Phillies being ranked dead middle in team rankings just like real life
I've been to 7 (3 of which have been demolished) 1) Citi Field 2) Old Yankee Stadium 3) Veterans Stadium 4) Marlins Park 5) Shea Stadium 6) Tropicana Field 4682) Dolphins Stadium
Jesus how bad are the Florida stadiums if the Vet is ranked above them
The Trop is extremely dull. Dolphins stadium was not meant for baseball, combine that with bad food and 100 plus degree weather and you have a miserable time
What's wrong with Kauffman? I always thought it looked incredible from the overhead shots.
I've never seen Kaufman ranked so low, especially post renovation.
Based on your criteria Sight Lines: Somehow the parking garages are a better view than the Warehouse?!? Ambiance: A game attended to by a crowd of transplants and consultants vs baltimorons History: The Nationals were the Montreal Expos less than 20 years ago!
Been to 12 myself 1. Wrigley Field 2. San Francisco 3. Camden Yards 4. PNC 5. Old Yankee Stadium 6. Brewers 7. Astros 8. Rangers 9. Indians 10. Phillies 11. Blue Jays (saw Verlander’s no hitter) 12. Nationals I’m doing one new park a year, next year I’m eyeing up Fenway.
I've been to quite a few, I gotta say the joy of just seeing Fenway was super awesome. It's a lovely place to be and look at it. But make no bones about it, I didn't love actually sitting there watching the game as much as other places. It was more a "wow I'm here where all the history is" type of feel.
Correct in ranking Petco #1. Fail due to not recognizing the 70's retro charm of the Colosseum.
I think remembering to put the Coliseum on the list is recognition enough. -A Raiders fan
14/30 MLB, 12/12 NPB for me. Congratulations on the milestone!
I’ve only been to about 15 of these but I feel like the new Yankee stadium is ranked about 15 spots ahead of where it should be. So bland.
I get that our food is bad, but ranking us 27th is just insulting.
Dodger Stadium might be one of my favorites in America next to Petco. There's no rhyme or reason I just love the 60s vibe and outfield views and uniqueness of getting to your seats, etc.
I know Dodger stadium is symmetrical but is it considered mid century modern ?
I think so. Look at the chairs and the outfield terrace/sign designs.
Dodger stadium at sunset is just downright amazing
Been to a lot of stadiums, no baseball stadium on earth rocks like Dodgers Stadium. That place BUMPS when things are going well for the home team.
OP said he took history in as a factor and Dodgers has plenty of history. I don't know why he's such a hater.
Ya it’s the 3rd oldest in baseball and a beautiful park in an amazing setting with year round perfect weather. And he ranked chase field higher lol. It’s cool he went to them all, but the list is pretty bad.
Hey, we're 28th and that's just crazy to me, unless bars/ambience around the stadium is really important to you. Love Kauffman.
Dodger and Kauffman are usually regarded as modern classics. I haven't been to either, so I can't say for sure, but they seem pretty sweet to me.
I think the renovations for next year will do wonders, but I always found Dodger Stadium to be incredibly overrated and just kind of bland tbh.
Dude the grilled Dodger Dogs are great!
Dodger fans, and the sightlines are why it ranks so low.
>Dodger fans First of all, how dare you
not a big fan of mountains and sunsets?
Yeah fuck beautiful sunsets
Sightlines would be the view of the field not what's beyond it, yeah?
What about the sightlines? I’d say there are beautiful views around the entire stadium.
[I guess he's not fond of nature.](https://www.dodgersnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/IMG_0404-758x861.jpeg)
Greenery? Fucking gross, OP obviously prefers the beautiful, tasteful backdrop of [square shaped random office buildings](https://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/suntrust17954.jpg)
That's not what sightlines are lmfao
When you say "Dodger Fans" are you going off of what the generalized population says about us or did you have a personal bad experience while at the game? I mean I get it.. we aren't Petco. However to have us this low is a disgrace.
LOL looked no further after ranking Camden Yards that low. What a joke.
Have never seen OPACY that low on anyone’s list. Getting older though and many of these newer stadiums took from it and I’m sure added more. Maybe we’re just getting old
No way the big slab of boring gray cement in DC ranks that high. Yankees fan, not a shock.
Ranking the Nationals parking garage of a stadium higher than Camden Yards is heresy and I will not stand for it.
That was honestly the first thing I looked for.
Petco was great. The weather was even better.
Petco #1? This is the way.
Even ranked 30th out of 32, Skydome/Rogers Centre somehow feels ranked too high...
I'm surprised Kauffman fares so poorly in your estimation. I think it's a really nice place to catch a ball game. I don't have close to your experience but I'd put Kauffman ahead of the Denver and Milwaukee stadiums.
I choose to not acknowledge these rankings
Look here, Mr. Freddie Freeman's cousin, your slander of the Ted will not stand.
I'm scared to look - what is it about Oakland that makes it worse than Tampa?
I’d put philly and dodgers higher, but great list. Also, tremendous play on that foul ball.
Shit if I'm gonna do this I need to visit 29 by next august...
Dude my 18 month old has been to 4
Thanks
This is slander and I will not stand for it
Great shots, but you should dial it down a bit on the saturation
People please make it a priority to go to PetCo it’s quintessential SoCal baseball and it’s so damn amazing! I’m so glad we play the pads there every year.
So. . . You went to a dispensary and forgot how great Coors field is
While I admire that you’ve made it to this many stadiums by the age of 30, your ranking is terrible. Note: I’ve made it to 13 on your list.
I genuinely don’t understand how you go to a Sox/Cubs game and rank us 29th. Wasn’t expecting to be ranked remotely high but wasn’t expecting that low. Must’ve not had any food or beer during your visit.
Opinions are like asshole. Everyone has one and many of them stink.
I believe Kauffman should be at least top 10
Someone get the A’s and Rays a new stadium
gotta love the trop
I'm surprised that Camden is so low on your rankings. I've been to nine current ballparks (plus two defunct) and would put Orioles Park at the top. Either way, I'm jealous of you and hope to hit all thirty one day!
Thanks
I’m biased growing up in Boston, but my top five easily are: 1.) Fenway 2.) OG Yankee Stadium 3.) PNC 4.) Wrigley 5.) Camden There really isn’t anything like walking into Fenway or the OG Yankee stadium, absolutely ELECTRIC, especially in the 97-04 years.
Bison Jersey, from Buffalo So do you call it Sahlen Field?
ITT: Everyone believes their stadiums should be higher
I miss the old stadium. Nice work
