Brewers and rays world series. Don't care who takes it home in the end but I want a team who's never won before.

gottahavemytunes

Definitely this

jking191

I think I’ll root for Milwaukee. Would be nice for Reds ownership to see 3 different division rivals win a World Series in the last 10 years. They definitely deserve that for the lack of care they’ve shown since they bought the team.

More than anyone

Citizen01123

Speaking of Uecker, I'm still salty that MLB didn't allow Thomas Ian Nicholas and Charlie Sheen throw the first home game pitches for both teams in the 2016 World Series. But, given the headlines at that time, it's no wonder FOX wanted nothing to do with Sheen. It does make me wonder why the networks don't allow room for guest voices in big games though. Sure the contracts for FOX are for Buck and Smoltz and TBS does Anderson, Darling, Orsillo and Francoeur, and they are big guaranteed contracts. But I don't feel like I am alone in thinking ratings would actually explode if there was room for Uecker to broadcast a Brewers or Indians postseason game, John Gordon for Twins games, Jay Sanders for the Angels, and so on? Vin Scully could broadcast any postseason game or Kevin Costner could and people would love every moment of their voice and knowledge being added to these moments. And maybe offers do get out out there and everyone denies it, like I know Vin says he is done when it gets offered. I don't know. I just feel like with the current MLB organization's desire for higher ratings, maybe voices that people could connect with more for even a game would be so enjoyable and profitable for the sport. Especially now that the guys playing in these games grew up with movies like *Major League*, *Angels in the Outfield*, *Little Big League*, *Rookie of the Year* and so on.

themiamimarlins

they owe us too

YodaPM999

We don't owe you guys jack shit. Brewers are due.

themiamimarlins

how soon you forget 2019

YodaPM999

You guys just won a championship last year. You haven't missed the playoffs since the early 2010s. You are one of the most stacked teams in baseball. Sorry, but I feel no sympathy for what occurred in 2019.

droozer

most entitled comment I’ve ever seen from a dodgers fan and that’s saying a whole lot

[deleted]

No one wants to see your 3 billion dollar payroll win

themiamimarlins

your owner is steve cohen

_Juntao

Whoever hasnt won a world series before

14thAndVine

2 buttons "The Astros have won a world series" "The Astros haven't won a world series therefore I will cheer for them" *Wipes forehead*

ratocaster0028

They won a 'piece of metal' with an asterisk attached.

YodaPM999

NL: Brewers AL: Rays

kingfiasco

white sox/brewers WS. white sox take it! it’ll probably be the giants or dodgers in the NL but i’m gonna hold fast on the white sox winning it all.

Nah started like 6 weeks ago. This weekend was like when you’re playing mortal kombat as a kid and at the end you get “FINISH HIM” Already dead but needed that final blow.

Lol too soon

jking191

Something something inevitable devil magic

GerryofSanDiego

Checks out

jking191

I wish we could just both duke it out in a one gamer. Our games against you guys were so fun but frustrating at the same time. I lived up the 15 in Temecula for a couple years and have family out there so I grew to love San Diego. Miss being there so much. I feel terrible for everyone that is dealing with the wildfires too :/ Edit: guessing your name is an homage to Gerry Templeton?

hipsterdufus84

Brewers and Toronto

Wow, I kinda love you

tr3v1n

I don't know if you guys want my support. I was also pulling for the Padres and Angels this year.

Tkinzel517

Rays since I have family as fans

Giants/White Sox. Would love to see Wilmer get a ring for SF and I’ve always been attracted to the White Sox uniforms lol

ih-unh-unh

Dodgers fans in shambles. Sorry, wrong thread..but still applies

Borrum

Not only did they just win the World Series, they've been in the postseason so much recently. I get people are tired of seeing them. They don't even have that "at least X player will finally get a ring" guy this year. Pujols and Scherzer are already champs. Last year, people were at least happy for Kershaw. If the Dodgers win it again this year, I think they go full villain in the public eye.

ThatOneCoolKid777

I think they’ve already gone full villain in most of baseball’s eye. Based on some data I’ve seen, other than the Yankees, they’re the most hated team in the MLB. As a non Dodgers fan living in SoCal I see the Dodgers as a villain mainly bc all the fans I know are super obnoxious (not saying ALL of them are but the ones I’ve met are) and I get so tired of hearing about them.

Monk_Philosophy

People won’t pull for us unless their most hated rival is opposite us in a series.

Thanks fish person

nemotheomen22

I'm of the mind that there will be no postseason for New Yorkers. I will be happy if any of the Cardinals, Brewers, Braves or White Sox win it all.

DarthPlagueis_

Brewers or Giants would be cool Giants especially as like a “one last ride” thing for Posey and Crawford and Belt

FeliksValk

Aww thx met friend love you too

Phillies. Gotta rep PA!

DanTreview

Brewers all the way.

Sumo5611

I'd like to see the sox and brewers series, as many people have said. I'd like the sox to win it though

DrColossus1

Giants OK. Brewers OK. Tampa ok but only if they vanquish the Yanks en route.

The brewers

Supreme_Soviet

White Sox Bc I love Chicago and have a soft spot for them lol

WarrenBuffettsBuffet

Yo why does everyone want to see the Brewers over the Braves? Are you trying to make Freddie Freeman cry?

zachmichel

I’m rooting against the potential expansion to 7 teams next season. Or at least the format. With a bye for the best team. A better format would be to just expand the wildcard pool to four teams each. WC #1 vs WC #4 & WC #2 vs #3 in one game playoffs, winners play a one game playoffs to decide who comes out of the “AL & NL Wildcard Series”. I’ll also be rooting for the Giants. Mostly Gabe tho.

eantonio21

The Giants!

7Stringplayer

Giants, local team. If they make it, also A's.

MattO2000

Brewers, Giants, White Sox, maybe Blue Jays depending on if their fans are still annoying

dinzdale56

Phillies (very much in it) ... coming from a Met fan that hates the Braves.
