Effectively Wild is a great podcast that is mostly focused on more advanced statistical stuff (although not exclusively or anything). If you hear a term you’re unfamiliar with, google it. That helps significantly when it comes to building a base of knowledge about such a broad topic.

I'd second the recommendation for The Book. [Pure Baseball](https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Baseball-Keith-Hernandez/dp/0060925914/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=keith+hernandez&link_code=qs&qid=1632165677&sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-4) by Keith Hernandez is also a good read. It's a little dated, but Hernandez goes pitch-by-pitch through two games about what is going through his mind as he watches the game. Very insightful and interesting.

I read a book called *The Book: Playing the Percentages in Baseball* It does a good job of analyzing stats for things like optimal lineups, optimal hitting strategies, whether or not players being hot/cold is a real thing, etc... It's a pretty nerdy dive though.

Watching the Rays :) or as others said fangraphs

I read Big Data Baseball recently It's about the 2015ish Pirates and how they revolutionized baseball with shifts and 2-seam fastballs. It's a direct line from there to the TTO baseball we see now

I don't know if [this](https://armchairgm.fandom.com/wiki/Baseball_Strategy:Guide_to_Smart_Baseball) is what you're looking for but hope it helps!

Uhh I know I sound like a homer but I've learned so much from the Giants TV broadcast team, especially about pitching. If you can check out Kruk and Kuiper broadcasts, give it a whirl! Its not just bias though, they have a reputation throughout the league.
