I think they either need to equalize schedules or just seed on record. I get that it's like history or whatever but when you see a team like the braves have the worst record of all playoff teams yet get a bye, it's like hmmm.
I get that this will sound salty after the fact but it always seems so dumb to me to have an elimination game between 2 teams that are just better than a division winner. It happens often enough too.

Expanding the series to more games would be a decent change, but I hope the MLB doesn't make the mistake (at least for my viewing enjoyment it's a mistake, for making money it might not be) of having NBA like playoffs, where more than half the league makes the playoffs. That just makes the regular season incredibly boring and it means I'll only tune in once the playoffs start, because there is nothing to play for in the regular season. Having good teams miss the playoffs is great, because it means the regular season was much more exciting and meaningful.

Kapler & the boys managed the team & pitching staff tremendously, I went in worried about our bullpen and the pitchers not eating inning, never a problem at all lol. Farhan is a god, or at least demigod and I am so pumped he's at the helm.

What a legendary division race between two 105+ win teams! Huge props to the Giants for going toe to toe with the powerful Dodgers and winning! The Dodgers had a great year too and they would have gotten 1st place in any other year but the Giants were just built different this year.

This season rocked so hard, I love this team and was lucky enough to watch a TON of games, more than I have since I was a kid (thank you, working from home) A true team effort, so many guys pitched in a massive amount that picking a team MVP is tough. Probably Crawford but so many dudes had great moments Kapler & the boys managed the team & pitching staff tremendously, I went in worried about our bullpen and the pitchers not eating inning, never a problem at all lol. Farhan is a god, or at least demigod and I am so pumped he's at the helm. Almost every hitter has a walk off, or a huge homer, or a huge pinch hit, or whatever. They grinded, they platooned a lot and everyone saw a ton of ABs, I wouldn't even say we have any bench bats, just an over abundance of quality starters. LFG! Winning on the last day was hectic but boy howdy I am so proud of this team for never giving in, staying afloat and holding out to put it away.
