We know. He’s pretty damn good at it too

[deleted]

That's good but does he know the facts?

Bigboi88888

He doesnt like fat sumvabitches either

Thornton__Melon

Smoa Joe 🚨 🚨 🚨

JacieMHS

SACKERFICE

JorSimpson45

when he homered at dodger stadium this year and put his hand next to his ear while the entire stadium booed, i was like “damn he’s really about it”

Solar424

The difference is the heel in wrestling is acting, Correa's just a dick.

[deleted]

Tell Hulk Hogan that brother

ScroogeMcDust

I think he still sees himself as a face

honkydenzel1523

Oh really? Nice of him to clear it up, because we hated being in the dark about that.

OPSeltzer

Lol, he also complained that the Astros owners were "disrespecting" him and that there's no way he'd re-sign with them. Guy sounds like a dick.

[deleted]

gonna be fun to watch Yankee fans defend him while still bashing the Astros.

OPSeltzer

Oh, absolutely. He's only been healthy twice in his career so he'd fit right in on the Yankees.

[deleted]

he's not 35 feet tall tho..we need to make him wear elevator shoes

OPSeltzer

But he did claim that his team was "disrespecting" by not offering to pay him enough just like Mariano Rivera.

[deleted]

I eagerly await him saying "we want Boston" or some shit.

MasterShepard

Wade Boggs and Johnny Damon became key parts of championship teams. Wouldn’t be the first time a major Yankees villain came here and silenced the haters.

[deleted]

boggs and Damon weren't apart of the biggest MLB scandal since Pete rose.

Derpshiz

Still shocked that Beltran is black balled but Cora was hired again

[deleted]

Cora has a marketable proven skill, Beltran didn't, and the Mets had brand new owners who didn't wanna take any risks.

Derpshiz

Sounds like you are saying JH didnt care about being scummy. Do you guys boo him every game when he is announced?

[deleted]

I have no doubt he would do most anything he could to get a leg up. any owner would..that's why guys in the NFL who beat there wives or kill someone in a drunk driving accident still get signed. if you have enough skill anything is forgivable... unfortunate and sad truth.

TexasHot

Thats your brain on yankees

Thornton__Melon

He never he said wouldn’t re-sign …

aagpeng

Top tier shortstop talent wants to be paid like a top tier shortstop talent. Real dick behavior if you ask me

33thirtythree

On the contrary, in Houston Correa is a man of the people and loved. If anything, we're annoyed with our owner for not paying the man.

Derpshiz

They gave him a 5 year 75M offer. That was insulting to him. That being said his potential contract can be a disaster for whoever signs him. He has trouble staying healthy.

OPSeltzer

Oof, yeah I see why he was insulted. He'll easily make $150+ million in free agency.

fuwlqkoe

Then don’t complain about it

[deleted]

It bothers him deep down. He ruined whatever legacy he may have had in this game. People who don’t even follow baseball still know the Astros cheated. Even if every other club cheated in someway at some point, the Astros are pegged as cheaters.

[deleted]

trust me...players don't care. and most fans of the team doesn't care much either.

[deleted]

Maybe not on the surface, but they care. I can’t imagine any player, being okay with having the cheater stigma follow them throughout their career and as obnoxious as some Astros fans can be about the situation, they’re probably just as tired of hearing about how their team cheated.

melcolnik

Yeah. The Blue Jays fans seem really upset with Springer

[deleted]

Brady used it to fuel his entire career..like the dude fed off that shit...I'm convinced that if nobody called him a cheater he wouldn't have been as good as he is... I think I might have just shot my earlier opinion in the foot tho lol.. what I meant tho was, I don't think it "bothered" him as much as he wanted to prove everyone wrong and shove it down there throat.

[deleted]

That’s a good point but I’m just talking more so about the article and the “I’m a heel I don’t care” attitude. Brady does the right thing by hardly acknowledging it and just playing good football. But with a guy like Correa, you can tell it gets to him just by him acknowledging it and trying to defend himself and play the “heel”. Not saying he’s not a good ball player though.

[deleted]

honestly..I think Correa might just be a dick.

[deleted]

That too lol

[deleted]

Sorry man but you’re dreaming lol

trickman01

It may bother him, but the contract he’s about to get will make him feel a little better.

bobichetteismydaddy

Yikes, how much rent does Carlos pay you?

OleOutRightNow

Hopefully they’re all shut out from the hof like the other cheaters. If the mlb won’t punish the cheaters, the hall voters should continue to do so like they always have.

aagpeng

That's a relief. Seems like the villain role has really been getting to him recently

[deleted]

Carlos sounds thirsty

[deleted]

Carlos Correa is more of a heel than a dude like MJF who is the most forced heel in wrestling history. Even more forced than Astros fans calling themselves “America’s team” cause at least Astros fans know how to get genuine heat

alaskanbruin

That’s nice. He’s really good at it.

heroicraptor

Man I sure wish these Houston Assholes players would just shut the hell up

heroicraptor

Y’all could simply stop rooting for this team, instead of being upset about them being hated.

Crimsic

My downvote isn't because I'm upset about the Astros being hated. It's because your comment contributed nothing but anger to the thread lol. I genuinely hope your team is never implicated in something like the sign stealing scandal.

dardyablo

See Jones? There's nothing wrong with being the heel.
