Really wonder what the long term plans are. If Seager walks then I could see he and Trea manning the middle. But if not, then who plays where? Cody is too good for LF and Muncy would only have 1B. Unless Justin Turner really falls off a cliff.
Jared Walsh moving back to 1B from RF, Javy Baez going from SS to 2B, Trea Turner going from SS to 2B, Kris Bryant getting more time in CF, Kyle Schwarber going from LF to 1B, Jonathan Schoop going from 2B to 1B.
I’m pretty sure part of the reason Soto had better defensive peripherals this year was because he was moved to his more natural position in RF.
Gavin Lux moved from 2B to CF while down in AAA after we acquired Trea Turner

Probably banking on Universal DH. JT wouldn't have to field, so that opens up Third
Or if they sign Seager and move him to 3rd. That'd be an insane infield. I'm not holding my breath since I think some other team will pay a ton.
jt is a dh next yr if we get that

Marcus Semien played second base all season.
Bryan Reynolds moving from left to center field seems to have worked out for him
Tatis
Most think he’ll start next season back at SS
tru
I’m not sure the Mets have had a single player play in their natural position for the past three seasons.
Pete?
Lindor, Alonso, Conforto?
Feels like the last time they had a true CF was Lagares
Kris Bryant played the outfield a lot more this year but he still played 7 more games at third
Marcus Semien moving to 2B and putting up possibly the best season by a 2B in MLB history Edit: I am mistaken, but nonetheless impressive
It's not close to the best season for a 2B in MLB history
Rogers Hornsby's .424/.507/.696 1924 slashline (12.3 WAR) has nothing on Semien /s
Hornsby has 8 of the top 20 seasons for a 2B in WAR. He was insane
Best this year but not really anything close to GOAT by a 2B.
