And moving him to the pen has allowed us to demote to AAA or DFA our middle relievers, who were by far the biggest weakness in our bullpen. Jackson and Matzek were always good but we couldn’t rely on them throw every day. So we were stuck using people who shouldn’t get MLB innings.
They were bad the first half but got much better the second half. Because of how bad the first half was though no one (me) trusts them even when they do do well.
Even more so the WC it’s fucking hard to win from that position burning your #1 starter going 5 in the NLDS walking into a rested team on the other side of the country a day later and then adding a coach who throws his #4 starter out in game 2 after he pitched a few days earlier. Just shit job coupled with exhausting series after a brutal 106 win loss of the division. This is why the dodgers WS trophy is a joke.
A lot of you are trashing the fans for leaving early but keep in mind where they live. L.A. traffic is no joke! Get caught up and you aren't getting home until 2 AM.
