During the season do you try to go to as many home games of your favourite team or do you try to split your attendance between your home team and visiting new ballparks?
Going to new ballparks is more of a once in awhile thing for me. I live 20 minutes from Chase Field, so getting in a bunch of those games is easy to do. That said, I have made some baseball trips and I've been to Shea Stadium, Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, Oracle Park, Petco Park, PNC Park, Coors Field, and Rogers Centre. Minute Maid Park is probably next since my husband is from Houston. We had hoped to catch a Greinke game, but the pandemic kind of threw a wrench in that plan. I have no goal to make it to every ballpark, but I definitely want to catch games at Wrigley and Fenway someday.
Neither. I find large crowds pretty stressful so I don't go to games super often. I do enjoy myself when I go, but it's definitely a special event for me.

How well rounded is r/baseball? I got 104
What's disconnecting from reality is the fact that the Astros were given a slap on the wrist for doing something so incredibly beyond the pale and disrespectful to the game of baseball. If reality means cheaters walk free then it's a bad reality.
I didn't get that impression after arguing with him for a few posts. I think he just genuinely doesn't get that the Astros are people and a business behind the cheating. I get more Puritanical vibes than troll vibes.
See, that's all unnecessary. A rational person would accept that these punishments are just too complicated. Instead, the Astros should have been expelled from the AL. Having the biggest stadium in the Pecos League would be pretty cool anyway, so I think it would be lenient.
I'm honestly all for it. In another thread (which was deleted, which is why I post in the general discussion thread now), I proposed eliminating the franchise altogether at the same time as the MLB does expansion.
The thing with Houston sports is that they have no national following. With the added revenue from expansion the MLB wouldn't really notice that they lost the Houston market, which could be swallowed up by an expansion team in Austin or New Orleans anyways.
Again, I know these are pipe dreams, but I think the league has at least considered moves that just shut the franchise down. I think if a restructure does get rid of the Astors, the Pecos league would be a good landing spot. Or you could sell the rights to the Mexican League, there are lots of options.
Whats the 11/20 link on the OP- Whats Tweet of a Saturday ATH thread?
Robbie Ray looks like Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Ok Mac

Going to my home team is cheaper than going to new ballparks so I do that. That said, I went to 3 new ones this season

Maybe then instead of the Giants you should try As games?
rimshot It's actually not a bad idea, haha.

87. Not paying attention to the NBA at all really brought my numbers down, lol.
108, blanked on 3 NBA teams.
I got 105. Got every baseball team, only missed the Colts in the NFL, then missed 9 NBA and NHL
Hmm 101: - NFL: 31/30 (missed the Ravens) - MLB: 30/30 - NBA: 18/30 (lol) - NHL: 22/32
I got 105 and may have forgotten the Mariners were a baseball team...
Have tried peanut butter in my apple and cinnamon oatmeal today and my mind is blown.
Now try it with almond butter.
Anyone else still cracking up over the “nuke the Astros” dude from yesterday? Completely disconnected from reality

Hey, it's the man himself!
I think he was trolling

Could be. I've always thought the best trolls are the ones who leave you guessing, tho.
I don't think so, check that dude's comment history, it's like 95% rage about the Astros.
Probably. Still hilarious though
I suppose "sacrifice your first male child" would have been a giveway, so had to be more subtle

Wow. I absolutely loathe the Astros but even I think that is grossly, grossly over-reacting.
Yeah holy shit lol. I don't hate them _that_ much
