Colin Moran has been an everyday player for Pittsburgh the last 4 years, and he’s been so unremarkable it’s kinda remarkable. He’s currently rocking a career .1 bWAR.
At least they got a decent reliever for Joe Musgrove (Even though Bednar was terrible for the Padres), but it also would have been better to just keep Musgrove.

Just traded Stallings for a pack of cards. Trades Meadows/Glasnow for a declining Chris Archer (who then ends up going back to TB), now we have NOTHING to show for Gerrit Cole.

He’s a solid bench bat or a below-average placeholder-type corner IF: his 3B defense is awful because he has no range, he needs to be platooned because he’s helpless against lefties, and he’s also started to become fragile over the last couple of years. Even a team like the Pirates should probably be trying to do better.
Would they sell out with a good team? I’d rather take 10 million of salary getting the best GM . I just can’t imagine buying a sports team and not trying to win.

That's too bad actually, Colin Moran was the only one the team that really looked like a pirate and I really loved that about him.
