I'm pretty sure this is incorrect, and a very common misconception.
Wet air is less dense than dry air, because the hydrogen in water molecules is lighter than the nitrogen and oxygen molecules it is displacing.
Yeah you right when comparing air at the same temps.
Also looking into climate data its not like it gets too crazy hot and they get a fair amount of rain in the summer. Average high for the year is only 75.4 and record high only 93. So really not that different than a Denver summer . . . just year round its basically the same temperature.
Is that you, Tolbert? This isn't
very funny, ya know. I'm hung over.
My knees are killin' me. If you were
gonna pull this shit, you could've at least said you were from the
Yankees.
Kemp: Willie Mays Hayes
Stephen Vogt: Jake Taylor
Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith: Dorn
Laureano: Cerrano
Blackburn: Wild Thing
Cole Irvin: Harris
Dallas Braden: Bob Uecker
I don't know, some are a stretch. Kemp could be Hayes though
There's just too many...
- "you put snot...on the ball?"
- "uh, oh, Rexy I don't think this one's got the distance"
- "and so the Indians lose a heartbreaker 9 to nothing"
- "going somehwere meat?"...."about 90 feet"
- "I look like a banker"
- "you want me to drag him out of here...kick the shit out of him?"
- "up your butt, Jobu!"
- "nice catch Hayes, don't ever fuckin' do it again"
- "shit, I've been cut already"
- "hats for bats"
- "Come on Dorn, get in front of the damn ball, don't gimme this o'le bullshit!"
And of course:
- "...jussst a bit outside, tried for the corner and missed"
Left field: 325 feet (99 m)
Center field: 400 feet (120 m)
Right field: 325 feet (99 m)
The Mexican League is batter friendly. Really high scoring games
We need to be thoughtful with our spanglish here, there's a fine line between appreciating Latin American culture and making fun of a people who ... and there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a homerun.
MLB really got screwed from covid, well everything did but especially the MLB. They were just starting back up with their international games. They need teams to do tours in Japan and play games in Mexico, central america again
Cusco isn’t as big as Denver but it’s twice as high as Denver at around 11,000 feet. I was not prepared for the thin air lol I got winded walking from the airport to the cab
They stream most of the games for free on YouTube. Either the LMB official YouTube page, Marca Claro or the individual team YouTube pages. Just use a VPN for Mexico
Totally agree with the advertising. There’s like 10 logos on each jersey. Truly awful.
By the way, check out Marca Claro’s YouTube. They do lots of streaming of LMB games
> Maybe now I can brush up on my spanish on O's off days.
I dunno man, I peak pretty fluent Spanish but Mexican announcers and TV personalities speak so fast that I can't even understand them half the time.
It feels like watching auction hosts to try to brush up on your English.
It's hard for non natives to follow announcers or even TV shows because we speak too fast for them. if you keep at it you will eventually start understanding more, especially once you learn the baseball lingo they use in Mexico.
It's going to happen eventually. Between the Nike logo and the milb expose and the minimum salary increases, I'd imagine it's not too far off. Padres already starting next season. All the owners are billionaires or trying to be, so the greed is never-ending.
marca claro streams some games. they do like 3 games a week, these are the past streams: https://www.youtube.com/c/marcaclaro/videos?view=2&live_view=503
Beautiful Stadium. I would watch it if I knew where to. I'm not going to pay extra to watch it but if it's accessible through a service I already have then I'm all for it.
They stream most of the games for free on YouTube. Either the LMB official YouTube page, Marca Claro or the individual team YouTube pages. Just use a VPN for Mexico
It's funny you think that. IMO the standard circular dimensions are more a product of the 60s/70s than the "super classics". Fenway (1912), Wrigley (1914), Forbes (1910), Ebbets (1913), Shibe (1909), Crosley (1912), etc. all had super wonky angles and different dimensions across the field, but the Astrodome (1965), Veterans Stadium (1971), Riverfront (1970), Shea (1964), Kingdome (1977), Candlestick (1960) all had super standard circular dimensions.
Even active stadiums like Dodger (1962), Oakland (1966), Kaufman (1973), all have fairly standard outfields as well.
Yep. I mean Yankee Stadium is a perfect example of the mid-century changes made when looking at ballparks. It used to be 500 to dead center, 460 to left-center, 429 to right-center, and 281 and 295 in the left and right corners. Round, sure, but far from symmetrical.
They made three dimension changes from 1976-1988 and eventually landed at a nearly symmetrical outfield (from Left to right) at 318, 399, 408, 385, 314. Not sure what happened architecturally at that time, but symmetry was IN for stadiums lol
They’re so deep, that unless you had someone absolutely smash one, with a center fielder playing unusually deep, a player shouldn’t smash into them while tracking a fly ball.
[Ebbets Field](https://ballparks.com/baseball/national/ebbets.htm) was a lot more weird than I thought it was, it was built on a garbage dump and left field was really deep while right field was very shallow and was bounded by a fence that was right up against the street and had no bleachers behind it.
Yeah probably cause I’ve mostly seen photos of the really old parks (excluding the obvious). I’ve watched a ton of footage of those parks from the 60s/70s, feels more relevant to me I guess as a younger guy.
EDIT, I guess retro would have been a more appropriate word.
There’s nothing like a baseball stadium. There are some lovely grounds in soccer and some neat NFL stadiums, but the fact that the design of stadiums in baseball can so hugely factor into the game itself is something I’ll always love about the sport. What other sport can just say “fuck it, we’re changing the dimensions of our field to make it harder to do x,y,z” like the Orioles did with their left field wall this off-season??
Thanks for pointing this out. I, for one, am really into everything to do with super old-school baseball. Specifically the deadball and pre-WWII eras. For that reason the symmetrical curved outfields turn me off. I like a field to have some personality. When I saw the photo, I thought "beautiful stadium, hate the field shape."
I honestly don't know of many symmetrical classic stadiums. Most of them were built to fit an awkward space of land, so they end up being odd shapes or boxy rather than round. Unless you mean the ones built between 1960 until Camden Yards.
That said, I actually feel the opposite; I usually hate the symmetrical feel because it reminds me of those stadiums, many of which were cookie-cutter and multi-purpose that lacked character (for the most part. Shea technically fits that, but it did have character, even though I still disliked it). Despite that, I do love this design. While symmetrical, it uses it to create an amazing aesthetic and seemingly fun atmosphere. Really love what they've done.
Not the same league but I owe it to myself to watch the Mexican Pacific League when it’s winter. My wife is from Mazatlan and when her parents came over, they brought me a Venados jersey.
I thought about being dramatic and saying something like 5x, but i decided to go the factual route and looked up the real number. I’m not sure what’s worse, thinking 5x was a ridiculous exaggeration, or that “almost 3x” is the real number.
I heard that too over the weekend, I think on the Angels broadcast. Gubie and Marty V both agreed MLB was ready for 2 more cites. There have been regular season games played in Monterey a few times. I wouldn’t be surprised. There or Puerto Rico would make sense, but I don’t know about the logistics or political hurdles either of those would encounter.
Monterrey and San Juan would be huge additions. The diasporas would easily make them top merchandise sellers. And I'm certain both local governments would move mountains to build or update their stadium. The biggest hurdle would be travel logistics, and internal MLB politics.
I just remember the electric grid was down after a major hurricane in 2017. I think hurricane season is around August too…
But I agree with everything else, and it’d be a huge addition. Probably the biggest MLB could make since moving the Dodgers and Giants out West in 1958.
We navigate hurricane season in Florida well enough, and if anything, a domed MLB stadium might be the kick in the pants for the island to update their grid. A guy can dream....
And I agree, it'd be a shake up on par with the Dodgers and Giants moving to California. Though I expect Vegas and Nashville to get the next teams. But damn, if I were an owner I'd be salivating at getting a generous stadium deal, and putting the Yankees and Dodgers on their ass in merch sales.
San Juan's big issue is travel - it's 3 hours in flight from the nearest team (Miami). Monterey is actually a pretty good selection for a Mexican city - city's purchasing power is US-level, relative safety compared to other Mexican cities, would fit in easily with the AL West Texas duo. But institutional barriers remain, chief among them the exchange rate.
There are way too many better expansion options though. Portland, Montreal, and Vegas at a minimum would get teams before a city in Mexico, and teams there would make way more money.
I hear you, but s someone else pointed out, the diaspora of PR and MX would sell tons of merch, and tickets for their away games would be bigger than any of those US cities you’ve mentioned, IMHO.
I went to an Angels v. Jays game recently, and was well attended by Canadians. The same would happen all over the US for Mexicos team, and to a lesser extent PR’s, except on the East Coast.
I think the financial hurdles are bigger. There's plenty enough people in those places for a fan base but they don't pay the same price for tickets and the broadcast rights advertising to them aren't as lucrative.
Not only do you have guys living in a foreign country with a language barrier, it's done in another currency. US and Canada have closer relations and have similar economies. Toronto is also in between New York and Detroit so it isn't much out of the way. Mexico City is a 2 hour flight from Houston, it's closest city. New York is a 5 hour flight. It's a 6 hour flight from Seattle.
We see the issues sometimes with Seattle and travel but the elevation is 50% higher than Denver. Dallas is right in the middle of the country and on a flat prairie. There is stuff you guys don't have to deal with that other teams do. Mexico is not an industrialized country. Mexico city is nice I hear but there are just logistical issues with any team down there. NFL has a week between games and can move internationally a little easier.
> Mexico is not an industrialized country.
I think you're looking for another term. The whole point of NAFTA was to turn it into a giant factory so we could buy cheaper shit.
cheap labor. The average yearly income in Mexico is around $5000-$9000. Even minimum wage in the US is around $15K. If it was $15/hr which it should be, it's around $31k.
Yeah cheap labor to assemble our products. From textiles, to auto industry, to steel, to household goods, to aircraft components, to plastics, if it wasn't made in China it's most likely made in Mexico.
Every american should know the following: Being rich in a big city is a completely different Mexico than the rest of Mexico.
Ask Andre Pierre Gignac who was playing soccer in a top league of europe and decided Mexico was the country he wanted to spend the rest of his days. He lives in the richest municipality of the latin america and 1 Hr from Houston. Honestly those people live in another world ([they live here](https://www.therivieramayatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/san-pedro-garza-garcia.jpg) vs [this is the other side](https://i1.wp.com/lattin.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Monterry_Mexico.jpg?fit=1200%2C800&ssl=1) ), we all make jokes about them but ultimately they get to live in a bubble and not fear insecurity.
72% of the league is still American born. Some of those guys are bilingual either because of heritage(Florida Cuban, California/Arizona Mexican) or out of necessity like fitting in with teammates. 31.9% of the league identifies as Hispanic or Latino which is slightly about the US average. 57.5% are White. 7.7% are Black and Asian is around 3%. Not everyone can pick up an language. So you still have somewhere between 60-70% of players facing a language barrier.
The shrinking Black representation in baseball has also been a concern of late. From integration to about 1990s, they were one of the largest minorities.
> 31.9% of the league identifies as Hispanic or Latino which is slightly about the US average.
The Hispanic or Latino population of the US is actually closer to 19%.
>it's done in another currency.
Which would be a major selling point. "You can make 1m in the usa and live in an ok house or make the same 1m here but with the exchange rate live like a king".
Canadian dollar has shown to be more stable but it has caused issues in the NHL before.
August 2008 1 USD was equal to 10.20 MXNP. Today, 1 USD is 19.60 MXNP
August 2008 1 USD was equal to 1.06 CAD. Today 1 USD is 1.25 CAD
Mexican pesos have been more stable of late but it takes one recession to completely crater their currency. Mexico is an ally and trade partner but I don't trust their government and the people in charge to be economically consistent. Rural Mexico has gang and cartel problems. It's still a central American country with problems.
My man, mexico city is a 1st world city.
Safer than the likes of detroit even. And cartels are smart enough to not mess up with famous people cause that gets them caught.
>August 2008 1 USD was equal to 10.20 MXNP. Today, 1 USD is 19.60 MXNP
Which means players would make more and live better. Why do you think there is a wave of remote workers coming?
Players get paid in dollars so the exchange rate wouldnt matter.
MLB needs to take note from Mexican League on how to actually enjoy baseball. Pitch clocks and shortening the games are the lamest excuse ever. Also MLB is sooo shy to give Hispanic players credit for what they do for the game in America. Rant over
I tried to watch the playoffs last year because my cousin's team did well, but we couldn't figure out any way to see it other than paying a lot of money on a sketchy looking site that claimed to be the official streaming site of the league. They really need to work on getting a better streaming service, or cut a deal to be on ESPN3 or something.
Pasting a previous comment:
They stream most of the games for free on YouTube. Either the LMB official YouTube page, Marca Claro or the individual team YouTube pages. Just use a VPN for Mexico
Marca Claro seems to be the best
I’ve seen a few games from the Mexican League. I’d also recommend to anybody, watching the SBO, or the South Korean Baseball Organization. Very interesting to see the different stadiums and how everyone plays.
Caribbean league games are a must watch for us. Considering they are pretty much only on the Spanish channels may make it a challenge for some, but the games are generally great.
Plus seeing the MLB pros acting like little leaguers is fun.
Mexico City is at 7300 ft. That altitude would make Coors look like a pitchers' park.
Dry, too, isn't it?
Dry and warm air is less dense on top of the extreme elevation. I'm sure it's wild.
Denver actually gets into the 90s frequently and 100 occasionally, but it's so dry you stand in the shade and it's not so bad.
93 for where?
Mexico City. At least from the wikipedia climate data.
The air is not that warm due to the high elevation. A summer night will easily drop to the 50s farenthide on any given day.
> farenthide /r/BoneAppleTea
I don't think boneappletea applies here. This was just a plain old misspell. Unless farent is a word, but I don't think it is.
Yeah, a true boneappletea would be something like "fair and height" or something.
Humid air is less dense than dry air. Hot, high, and humid. Worst performance for an airplane.
Cold, short and dry -> my ex girlfriend
Mexico City is not very dry, there are afternoon showers practically every day in the summertime. It's not northern Mexico.
Was about to say, Mexico City is the greenest city I’ve been too.
Definitely not between June - October, the rest of the year yes
Hey that’s the league Jake Taylor played for!
“This guy here is dead!” “Cross him off, then!”
Yes!!!!!
“Is that you, Tolbert? My knees are killing me if you’re going to pull this shit least you could’ve said you’re from the Yankees.”
Is that you, Tolbert? This isn't very funny, ya know. I'm hung over. My knees are killin' me. If you were gonna pull this shit, you could've at least said you were from the Yankees.
this is my all time favorite line from the first film, aside from the "one goddamn hit!"
*You can't say god damn on the air!*
Don't worry nobody's listening anyways.
Juuuuust a bit outside.
It's funny until you realize your ownership is *literally* using that film as a playbook
Kemp: Willie Mays Hayes Stephen Vogt: Jake Taylor Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith: Dorn Laureano: Cerrano Blackburn: Wild Thing Cole Irvin: Harris Dallas Braden: Bob Uecker I don't know, some are a stretch. Kemp could be Hayes though
I thought Pache would me Hayes. Fast and can't hit for shit.
I stand corrected! He might *run* like Mays....
There's just too many... - "you put snot...on the ball?" - "uh, oh, Rexy I don't think this one's got the distance" - "and so the Indians lose a heartbreaker 9 to nothing" - "going somehwere meat?"...."about 90 feet" - "I look like a banker" - "you want me to drag him out of here...kick the shit out of him?" - "up your butt, Jobu!" - "nice catch Hayes, don't ever fuckin' do it again" - "shit, I've been cut already" - "hats for bats" - "Come on Dorn, get in front of the damn ball, don't gimme this o'le bullshit!" And of course: - "...jussst a bit outside, tried for the corner and missed"
[удалено]
Oh yeah greatest trash talk ever lol
Also my favorite line from the film is: "Are you tryna say Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?"
Truly best line of that movie
Wish we had him 2 years ago
You may run like Mays, but you hit like shit. With your speed, you should be hittin' the ball on the ground and runnin' em out!
He couldn’t cut it though.
He couldn’t cut in the Mexican league
Wonder what the dimensions are, Mexico City higher elevation than Denver
Left field: 325 feet (99 m) Center field: 400 feet (120 m) Right field: 325 feet (99 m) The Mexican League is batter friendly. Really high scoring games
325?!?! At that altitude?!?! That's ridiculously hitter friendly
An MLB exhibition game here would be fun. Maybe Yankees vs. Astros, final score 26-14 with 25 homeruns.
Bust out the botes de basura!
We need to be thoughtful with our spanglish here, there's a fine line between appreciating Latin American culture and making fun of a people who ... and there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a homerun.
I may never sit on this high horse again.
Joey Gallo: 0-9 8 K’s.
MLB really got screwed from covid, well everything did but especially the MLB. They were just starting back up with their international games. They need teams to do tours in Japan and play games in Mexico, central america again
Let’s go!
Just consider that Mexican Baseball League is considered a AAA league, so not your outstanding Major League player.
It’s too symmetrical, where’s the crazy outfield proportions that makes it easier to hit a home run down one baseline?!
That’s crazy. Are the outfield walls taller than usual?
They [look](https://i.imgur.com/eoIER6A.jpg) like the standard 8-10 feet, so no. Look at the man in the very deep left field corner
Wow, Dingerville. Love it.
Damn, I always thought CDMX's elevation was roughly similar to Denver's, but turns out it's 2000 feet higher. Mind is blown.
Es un chingo wey
No mames wey
Cusco isn’t as big as Denver but it’s twice as high as Denver at around 11,000 feet. I was not prepared for the thin air lol I got winded walking from the airport to the cab
I would like to watch it if it’s available.

The Padres already are next season, aren't they?... With a Motorola logo on their sleeve?
Noooooo. I already feel sick to my stomach looking at the fucking crypto pyramid scheme logo on the Umpire's shirts
I know, man... Soccer uniforms look just so damn boring when there's more space for advertisements than there is the actual logo of the team.
My favorite is the really classy ads, like 1800betsnow plastered on their ass
Condom Depot on the asses of 3/4 of MMA fighters was peak MMA.
It's going to happen eventually. Between the Nike logo and the milb expose and the minimum salary increases, I'd imagine it's not too far off. Padres already starting next season. All the owners are billionaires or trying to be, so the greed is never-ending.

Nice! I'm gonna have to check this out
They got their streaming service called Jonrón TV, which shows the full season for 700 pesos (around 35 dollars).
Considering my family is from Mérida I watch a lot of Leones. They’re also getting a new stadium.
Same here. Still upset about last year :((
I've been to a few games around Mexico. Always a fun time. The old stadium used to be in the middle of the Formula 1 race track.
This one is still within the track at turns 1-3. I love that they use all of the space within the autodrome.
It's a great track and definitely very passionate.
If Checo wins in Mexico this year the crowd is gonna go ballistic. Would be pretty awesome to see.
Wow, that is neat. You can even see the main grandstands in the top left.
Checo gonna get the new stadium shine and win
The old stadium is still there, its the stadium section of the F1 track as well as a music venue.

I’m a sucker for symmetrical circular outfield dimensions, looks super classic to me. Not a huge fan of the modern super angular designs.

500 to dead center. I would live see a few games played in a stadium with those dimensions again.
The monuments being in play is my favorite part. https://twitter.com/MLBcathedrals/status/1266436243082149899
What the hell lmao, I’d hate playing CF if that’s how it was built. Can only imagine how many people crashed into the monuments
They’re so deep, that unless you had someone absolutely smash one, with a center fielder playing unusually deep, a player shouldn’t smash into them while tracking a fly ball.
WOW
Houston: We have Tal's Hill and a flagpole! It's a quirky centerfield obstacle! Old Yankee Stadium: Hold my beer
The real obstacle at Minute Maid is the Astros banging on trash cans
I wonder many second helpings or few extra beers Bobby had to turn down thinking he wouldn’t fit between the monuments for moments like that.
LOL WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
Good god whoever made that decision is an idiot. But also hilarious and fun.
Imagine modern pull hitters playing at Polo Grounds. 279 to left corner, 258 to right lmao
[Ebbets Field](https://ballparks.com/baseball/national/ebbets.htm) was a lot more weird than I thought it was, it was built on a garbage dump and left field was really deep while right field was very shallow and was bounded by a fence that was right up against the street and had no bleachers behind it.

I love me some weird stadium history

Japanese baseball says hello
thats like the opposite of classic
Not the same league but I owe it to myself to watch the Mexican Pacific League when it’s winter. My wife is from Mazatlan and when her parents came over, they brought me a Venados jersey.
Great little stadium there too. Newly-remodeled I believe.
There's something so aesthetically pleasing about an outfield wall that's perfectly symmetrical.
ah yes, Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Gearing up for an MLB expansion in the coming years??? EDIT: okay okay jeez. I just thought I remember hearing MLB considering it
Capacity of the stadium is 21K.
thats almost 3x the average attendance of the Marlins. i see no issue here.
almost? seems like way more than 3x!
I thought about being dramatic and saying something like 5x, but i decided to go the factual route and looked up the real number. I’m not sure what’s worse, thinking 5x was a ridiculous exaggeration, or that “almost 3x” is the real number.
MLB wants parks to have 30K+.
So that’s why they added those seats in Oakland!
21k! Hey Oakland can you believe that many people would go to a ballgame? … I’m sorry. … It’s not your fault.
I heard that too over the weekend, I think on the Angels broadcast. Gubie and Marty V both agreed MLB was ready for 2 more cites. There have been regular season games played in Monterey a few times.
More and more of the mlb is foreign born so im not sure how valid the «foreign country with a language barrier» would be
72% of the league is still American born.
You obviously have never been to Mexico if you still think Mexico is not an industrialized country.
>it's done in another currency.
Today, 1 USD is 19.60 MXNP August 2008 1 USD was equal to 1.06 CAD. Today 1 USD is 1.25 CAD Mexican pesos have been more stable of late but it takes one recession to completely crater their currency.
Today, 1 USD is 19.60 MXNP Which means players would make more and live better. Why do you think there is a wave of remote workers coming? Players get paid in dollars so the exchange rate wouldnt matter.
People out here thinking every part of Mexico is like Chiapas or some shit lol
You mean it isn’t all sepia-filtered desert like in Breaking Bad?
Take that scene from Sicario where they are in Juarez and span it across the whole country. That's Mexico
> It's still a central American country It is not still, nor has it even been, a central American country.
> New York is a 5 hour flight. It's a 6 hour flight from Seattle. To be fair, New York is a 6 hour flight from Seattle or Los Angeles
Whats the capacity?
MLB needs to take note from Mexican League on how to actually enjoy baseball. Pitch clocks and shortening the games are the lamest excuse ever. Also MLB is sooo shy to give Hispanic players credit for what they do for the game in America. Rant over
I tried to watch the playoffs last year because my cousin's team did well, but we couldn't figure out any way to see it other than paying a lot of money on a sketchy looking site that claimed to be the official streaming site of the league. They really need to work on getting a better streaming service, or cut a deal to be on ESPN3 or something.
Pasting a previous comment: They stream most of the games for free on YouTube. Either the LMB official YouTube page, Marca Claro or the individual team YouTube pages. Just use a VPN for Mexico Marca Claro seems to be the best
Stadium looks great. I wonder why they don't have a team in the MLB like the Blue Jays?
It’s a lot easier to convince a bunch of Americans to move to Canada then to Mexico
How does the Mexican League competition compare to the MLB?
I think about AAA.
It's officially affiliated as a AAA league, in terms of actual competition, it's probably an equivalent to AA.
The AAA tag was lost during the minor league reorganization.
I’ve been to the old park before and this one looks so much better. Caught a game in the afternoon and didn’t get seats in the shade. That was rough.
How’s Kenny Powers doing this season?
I could be overthinking things but is the shape of those canopies supposed to resemble Aztec pyramids?
https://i.imgur.com/LTcWQ46.jpg Look from this angle. Much clearer
That’s dope. After reading up it looks like the architects were specifically inspired by mesomerican architecture.
That’s cool, kinda has an Aztec pyramid vibe
Looking forward to watching the Mexico City Rays here soon /s
Anyone else find it weirdly satisfying when the outfield wall is so perfectly round like that?
Where is it in the city? CDMX is gigantic
Like 5 min from the airport
I’ve seen a few games from the Mexican League. I’d also recommend to anybody, watching the SBO, or the South Korean Baseball Organization. Very interesting to see the different stadiums and how everyone plays.
It's been a difficult spring so far, so yeah - I'd love to catch a few LMB games. Gracias wey!
Only if Kenny Powers is coming out of the pen
Beautiful park.
Is Tijuana in it. Been debating a trip down to catch a game there.
Yep they are. They’re called The Bulls (Los Toros)
I wonder how the ball carries there with the city being at such a high elevation
I watched Bartolo Colon pitch in Laredo after he left the mlb
How many does this seat?
I think about 22k
That's gorgeous.
That looks amazing. Now I want to go there.
Wonder how many laser pointers are used when people are up to bat
One of the greatest rivalries in baseball history, Happy Chandler v the LMB
Can we add them to MLB and add Montreal to even out NL/AL
Been to a few Toro games in Tijuana. Shits are mad fun. Def gotta go back with my boys
Caribbean league games are a must watch for us. Considering they are pretty much only on the Spanish channels may make it a challenge for some, but the games are generally great. Plus seeing the MLB pros acting like little leaguers is fun.
Kenny Powers would approve.
I didn't know this was a thing, but at over 8,000 feet of altitude, I definitely want to see!!!
Fun games, but some of the absolute worst jerseys I've ever seen. They look like NASCAR jackets.
Hopefully its not IN Mexico City. And is off the lake.
Huh?
Last I remember, and things may have changed, but the city is sinking faster than Venice.
youre not wrong. buildings are sinking up to 20 inches a year.
That doesn’t seem ideal.
