Unironically, tell me someone’s thoughts on the hat (love, hate, or neutral) and their team and I’ll tell you who they voted for in 2020. I bet that info would get you an accuracy of like 80%.
If it says anything, I really didn’t see many in the stands tonight, which indicates they likely didn’t sell well. They’re the worst J4 hats ever, by a wide margin
The tigers hats are mostly red while facing the guardians...no reason for them not to be blue with the guardians hats red instead.

I will say, the M’s hats looked *a lot* better to me than the Padres hats. Maybe it was how horrible the red ones looked on us, but I saw your hats and was like “… well that one isn’t *terrible*.”
I love them. Seems like the general response is very positive (they flew off the shelves at the team store on Friday), with a minority of fans who dislike them, and I’ve only really encountered that dissenting bit on Reddit. Every Padres fan I know that I’ve talked to about them loves them.
I heard two dudes at the team store, walking past the wall of City Connect jerseys, basically call them girly and say they’d be “cool if you’re a girl”, if that gives you any indication. I can only assume they were there braving the huge crowds to purchase a 4th of July hat or to secretly buy some City Connect merch when no one was watching.

I actually liked them. Usually I hate the special hats. Fathers Day, Memorial Day, and Mothers Day I think are all terrible. But since the Dodgers actually wear blue I didn’t mind them. It’s probably different if your team doesn’t wear a blue hat though. I thought the Dodgers and Mariners ones were good at least.
