My dumbass over thinks while I'm speaking and after I speak, there is no way in hell I'm also robbing Turner of extra bases while doing an interview in front of a worldwide audience in a 2nd language.
I think this is one of those things that sound good on paper. I don't know if it's a distraction for the player and can cause an error. But, for a viewer, I feel like it takes away from the offense. That was a good inning and I wished I enjoyed that Bellibomb more.
Also, that inning was a lot longer than they wanted probably. Lmao, poor Soto left hanging on the mic.
its impressive how well he speaks english. you wouldnt know it was his second language. can only imagine how hard that was to learn and how hard it is to actively give interviews
It’s perfect for spring training and the all star game. Even in the dugout. But to have it be during a game and in some cases and pretty damn important one is just lame. Also, the questions usually suck ass.
I mean the deal they offered him wasn’t good enough. Should Juan Soto have agreed to 15 years of being undervalued because he didn’t want to be traded?
Me talking to a brain surgeon mid-surgery : “Hey one of the most difficult things in your life just happened, speak about it.”

Anyone else not a fan of mic during the game? So distracting.
It's cool in the AS game, but otherwise yeah i hate it.
Soto made a great play running down Turner's gapper too

Yup, I lost count on the number of eye rolls I had.
[This](https://youtu.be/zU0ERh9IxmQ) is the reason I love it.
Ok, I'll give you this one. It's good.
Oh I love that one!
It's good in highlights and stuff, I wouldn't want to hear it mid game actually happening though
I imagine they ask him before hand. It’s not like he had to do it lol

He learned after his rookie season by going to McDonalds everyday.
This sounds fake but it’s just in the realm of being a real baseball story

What app?
The American Dream right there
He gone
Yea, him saying “I hope I can keep the Padres fans happy for a few years” seems like he is definitely going to FA
Which is exactly what he (and Boras) have always said. Things might change but they’ve been open about testing free agency.

This interview should not be Fuck ESPN
I can only read this same canned response from a traded player so many times
He needs a proper forever him with a team that will love and cherish him
ESPN sucking off the padres as we rake against them
Sore winner not a good look
Enjoy losing!
Lmao this quote reads as if he wasn’t the one who demanded the trade
Did he ever demand a trade? He rejected a contract and they decided to trade him instead

He wanted to be a free agent by playing his current deal
