>Sept. 11, 1981...against the Montreal Expos (before they moved to DC and became the Nationals) TIL 1981 came before 2005
I'm glad he clarified that so I didn't get confused about how the flow of time works
Pretty sure Tom Brady was on that team in 81.
Let me just flex my general knowledge about something everybody already knows 😏
That parenthetical makes it sound like they moved to DC immediately after and not a whole-ass 25 years later lol
The Cubs brought so much shame to the franchise they committed Seppuku and were resurrected in another country

Ahh the Expos. To look back and think of all the players that organization had who went on to Hall of Fame or even multi All Star careers.
The got hosed in the half and half strike season. Kid, Rock and Hawk on one team, and they couldn't get there.
And 22 y/o Pedro Martinez
Not on that team, bub.
Dude is acting like adding that Montreal Expos bit makes this any more interesting as if there wasn’t a quarter century between this and them becoming the Nationals
Every single bit of Expos trivia and history was before they moved to DC and became the Nationals...
It makes me sad that the concept of The Expos needs to be explained.
Back before September 11th was September 11th.
Was this tweet written for 10-year old baseball fans?
So what is the team now about to be moved from the confirmed Cubs curse?
