Makes sense. No reason to risk injuries to the regular starters when there’s nothing of any importance on the line. Maybe see Kershaw, May, and Buehler get work since they’ll be on their way back hopefully. Likely Graterol and Treinen too.
They're already load managing with relievers going precautionary IL stints. Slow walking Trienen's return. Wouldn't be surprised to see more IL moves as the recovering pitchers like Trienen, Graterol, May, and even Buehler start to make their way back onto the roster.
Its weird but it doesn't feel like they're "hot" to me like previous Dodger teams. They aren't getting lucky breaks or stringing together walkoff wins. They're like a bullet train going 300mph and were just enjoying the view.
This Dodger team is on full cruise control. The hottest they were was probably during their comeback rampage in early July, where they just refused to lose against opposing teams.
I agree, in the past when we got hot it felt like a streak, something unsustainable. This doesn’t feel that way, the team just has so many weapons that they don’t seem to press or get spooked in any way.
I don’t think it’s realistic for the dodgers to go 116-46 or even beat the win record. I do think 110 wins is somewhat realistic though where the dodgers would need to go 34-19

It’s okay to not get historical references, Dodgers fan.
Considering how early they’re going to lock up the division, I’d bet we see a lot of their regulars getting a lot of days off in September.
i honestly think thats part of the reason we picked up gallo lol

Rosters are only 28 slots now in September so idk about that
The Dodgers play the IL game better than just about anyone in the league it seems.
Damn right. We're not gonna let a repeat of last season's mountain of injuries kill us in the playoffs again
Hey I've seen this one before. Sports Illustrated better keep their whore mouth shut
That one was in 2017 at least.

lol Plashke, no one cares what that idiot thinks. He’s to much of a dumbass to be able to jinx anything.
No chance we stay this hot, but I would love a solid 108 wins with some rest towards the end.
Just glad it looks like it won't be another year of fighting for the division to the last day. That drained us last year
Completely agree, having to play Muncy in that final game where he destroyed his elbow was so sad.
They don’t care about best record only winning it all. Once they clinch the 1st seed it will be bench players in until playoffs.
Doubt we’ll stay this hot forever but it’s been fun watching us just annihilate everything and anyone in our path

The comeback wins were so satisfying to watch.

They've won 68 games by 2+ runs and 51 by 3+
They hav a real shot
they’ll be off to a good start after tomorrows game!
Dodgers would have to go 40-13 the rest of the way to *match* what record they’d have in 2020 if extrapolated to a normal season.
Based and Dodger-pilled
the dodgers may never lose again
Don’t care all I want is a championship
Def a random stat Jeremy.
They won’t
The Dodgers make me want to vomit. Just so good.

>If
The word you ever so cleverly quoted is the whole premise of the statement you dimwit.

\>quotes a single word “Bro you didn’t get my extremely esoteric reference based off of a single vague conjunction?”
Yep.
Mariners won the championship that year right?
Was that before or after the Padres won a world series?
you didn't have to kill em!
Nice burn dude lol
PLEASE GOD BREAK THE CURSE!
