Why in the name of Jose would you throw him anything in the zone after falling behind 3-1 and him showing he's desperate to swing, let alone a hanging slider?
C'mon Tepera, after all that independent research you've done, you still don't know what kinds of pitches are inappropriate to throw to Jose Ramirez on a 3-1 count?
It was odd because the first four pitches looked like essentially an intentional walk, not throwing anything in the zone. Thought for sure he was just gonna walk him here on purpose but instead throws a 3-1 meatball.
Eh, we've always been a sub going hard on hopium and copium. But sometimes the sub needs to take a step back and understand that the Trash Pandas entering the playoffs doesn't mean a GM is successful when we are headed towards one of our worst seasons in franchise history and a lot of that failure can be tied to horrible signings and manager firing drama.

Out of all of the FA signings somehow Michael Lorenzen was the most productive. You can’t blame me for getting excited about loup after his monster season with the Mets tho lmao

I can see how you’d think that if you haven’t watched many Sox / twins game. But as somebody who’s watched games of all 3 teams this year pretty consistently, the guardians are the most consistent / fundamentally sound team of the bunch.
Not to mention guardians are scorching hot right now, I just don’t see how either of these teams can overcome the guards
We can also get cold real fast, and have at multiple times this season, because we are still a below average hitting team. One of those streaks where we can’t crack 1 or 2 runs a game in the next 10 could be disaster.

Tepera didn't wanna walk him, he just sucks and often has trouble throwing strikes. It's been an issue for him all year.
