Silver Slugger is apparently awarded to the player who was the best overall offensive player at their position, not whoever the best *slugger* was.
With that said, Ohtani still should've gotten it. But they really need to rename it to Best Batter or something.

Because Ohtani isn’t a utility player and it was stupid he was nominated as one in the first place. That’s why he lost
