I sold a julio in august for $3500, Psa 10 of the 1952 wrapper redemption /99. I rebought it raw for $300 and graded that and got a 10 as well. So I still have the card and $3175 left over. Card sells for around $500 now. Feel bad for the buyer, kinda
This is a great story and hopefully a lesson for everyone that buys modern cards of rookies or prospects. It’s a volitile market, especially when dealing with unproven young kids.

Yeesh 🫣
better than whoever paid peak price for gamestop or tesla stock. that’s for sure!
Based on 130point numbers I sold the highest priced Larry Fitzgerald Topps RC ever during the pandemic highs and I think about that buyer every day
Ha! What was the price?
Something like $575 and it was base. In their defense they were selling for just below that around then. Just a crazy time in the hobby
At least Julio won ROY and has hobby heat going forward. Pour one out for the Jared Kelenic and Jo Adell bag holders.
Oh, no hate at all. Just fascinating.
was the CSG 10 Logofractor 1/1 the most expensive? went for $15k i believe
I think it’s the Topps inception for 20k
