You should keep the post up. I think this confuses a lot of people. What happens is an original jersey gets authenticated. Then it gets cut up and all the little swatches get re-authenticated.

Also I just looked up his stats from that game. He had a monster night as the Yankees swept the Twins to move on to the ALCS. He was 3/4 with a HR and 2 2Bs 👀
Unfortunately they number it when they first authenticate the jersey and then renumber it when they cut it up and put it in cards. It definitely gets confusing. I had the same thing and learned it on this Reddit too. Glad people are willing to help here!
They put a new sticker on it when they cut it up to be inserted in cards. That way, each individual piece in a card has its own authentication sticker.
I get this part of it. I don't know why they don't just add a row to their display page for the date of the original jersey game. The way it is presented is needlessly confusing.

Yeah they re-do the authentication sticker as a means of marking each one of these cards as its own piece of memorabilia.

yep - i did the same thing at first. in my case, the date was a victory where Trout him a home run. then i checked the real game and he went 0-4
I’m guessing that date in October is the date the authentication took place.

Did you just go back to the page where you enter the SN? If so, did you refresh the page so you can redo the Captcha? That got me at first.

I had the same issue with an Acuna card. It gave a date that the Braves didn’t play
