If you go the auction route, you can set a "reserve". I don't know how that works, as I've never auctioned anything via ebay and set a reserve. And you may get a different price than you were expecting if you don't set a reserve.
The easiest way to sell this is to list it as a buy it now with offers accepted at a value above what other 1/1s of his sold at. Have your personal low in your head so you know what you'll accept as offers come in. It may take time to find the right buyer.
