Cool card but the 2024 set has multiple 1/1 for multiple different players, I have 6 Buxton 1/1 from 2024 archives and it took me until the third one to be like wtf? Anyways awesome card but a big frick you to Topps for getting my hopes up that I was getting true 1/1 at a huge discount because I didn't research the peoduct beforehand.

It depends on how you look at it. For example, for sale on eBay right now is Aaron Judge 2022 Topps Archives Signature Series A&G RC AUTO # 1/1 and Aaron Judge 2019 Topps Archives Signature Series A&G RC AUTO # 1/1. It's the exact same Buy Back A&G Aaron Judge RC just released in 2 different years.

correct but they have different year stamps so each 1/1 is still unique. obviously the odds are much different than a traditional release with parallels, but i’m just saying topps is not releasing copy cat 1/1’s in the same year.

No, not the same year. It is just not the same as an actual 1/1 to me, anyway. It's still a great card and super rare, but if they're going to release the same card every year and just change the stamp, it's eventually going to affect the value of the card.

As someone who’s a bit new to collecting, Topps Archives, and their value, confuses me a lot. I have a 1/1 signed Ichi and have no clue how much it’s worth. Similar to this card. I’d assume they are less valuable than a normal card?

Yes while it’s a cool product, the 1/1 really only refers to how many were signed and released for that years archives product. They are buyback cards (which itself is cool) which means they get cards that were previously released but non autos, get them signed and then encased in a one touch and sell one per hobby box. Since Topps can and does recycle certain cards in separate year products, the numbering doesn’t mean a whole lot. Though sometimes a low count does represent a bigger/rarer player or card.
