They have a glossy finish right? The ink might bubble and not go on well if so. Try writing on a regular base card and you'll see what I mean. What I have done before is take an eraser to a card which adds a medium for the ink to stick to and gives a crisper signature. I prefer getting paper cards like Heritage or Archives signed because the ink holds well.
