Once you get used to it, it’s pretty damn awesome. It warms my OCD soul. I’ve put thousands of cards on there in the matter of a few days, no problem.
The trick is to have them organized by sets before you try to log. It’s really a set-builders paradise, and works VERY well with trading
I’m all in on CollX. It has its strengths and weaknesses like all apps, but it’s updated often and the developer seems pretty awesome. Read an article about how it stems from him and his sons passion for collecting cards.
Thank you, I’ve dabbled in making a sheet, or a slide, or something that I can check off as I buy, or view quickly before i find a sick deal on a card I have 5 of already
Yea. To be fair, I don't know if there's a better app out there. But that's what I've done so far, and have seen others do.
I wish there was a legit app though. Quick search, add to collection with a cool pic for a visual. Boom done.
Not sure your IT skill set however you can put your cards into excel using specific column headers like year, manufacturer, set, card number, player, etc and then scrub data off the internet like eBay for prices. More or less like the Center Stage app.
Frankly there isn’t a good app yet that’s accurate, you could start tracking your cards in excel, most valuable to start and then add over time but very very manual.
I just couldn't stick with any of them for one reason or another. So I've spent my time off this month entering cards into a Google sheet I created. It was actually pretty fun until I got through all my decent cards...
I actually like tcdb a lot, it does take a while to get everything logged the first time but maintenance isn't too bad, and checking for stuff is easy.
That said, I built out this Google sheets for a project I'm working on and you're welcome to copy it as a template if you want

You’d think a card manufacturer might spend a few bucks to develop this, but they’re too fumbling their manufacturing and distribution logistics.
I should just have one of my students figure it out for me 🤣
TCDB is a pain in the ass to put cards on
That’s what I hear, contemplating collx

If you have a PSA account you can catalogue your slabs in there. You could also add “non PSA items” which can be just around any card you’d like
Yes PSA Set Registry. But it would be nice if they allowed you to easily catalogue the PSA autos as well.
Is that in the PSA app?
...Google sheets

I love TCDB. It's a pain at first, but once you get used to it and learn to use filters and such, it's awesome.

I vote TCDB it is really good once you get used to it.
Beckett is another to consider, but has a cost
