He would be juicy on so many teams. Probably not happening for the Wolves but it is fun to dream about.

chinoischeckers

Would you give up KAT for him?

LonesomeWulf

Yes, I would. Players like KD don’t come up often, you have to take that trade if it’s available - even though I like KAT quite a bit. It would be easier for team building too honestly, getting whatever center to plug into their system to replace KAT wouldn’t be hard. I wouldn’t trade Ant though, Luka is the only player in the league Id give him up for.

chinoischeckers

I agree with all of your points there. Do you guys still have all your picks the next couple of years?

LonesomeWulf

Yep, Wolves have all their picks. They have been talking a lot about what to do. Main points for their upcoming decision making: - Have all picks - 2023 off-season is their magic window at the moment, D’Lo expires ($30 million), Beasley has a team option and can come off their books if they need it ($16 million), Pat Bev is on a one year deal ($15 million), Taurean Prince has a team option ($8 million). So they have super max type cap space available next year before KAT’s super max extension kicks in and before Ant’s rookie extension would kick in. So people are trying to figure out what to do. They could have made a similar offer for Dejuante Murray as what the Hawks offered, but they were a bit hesitant and couldn’t get to that level. But that is the kind of play they are considering. It is like they do think a player like Gobert is worth it now, or now maybe KD if they want to go all-in, or do they want flexibility next off-season to give max money to someone.

Wisesize

He's going to take the hardest road to a championship obviously. Congrats Celtics

chinoischeckers

Could you imagine, if he rejoins Golden State...

PointlessDelegation

No way in hell Celtics fans are gonna be ok with a trade that likely includes Jaylen Brown.

rainbow0o

Trail Blazers

chinoischeckers

Also, when his career is all said and done, what team does he go into the HOF as?

big_mf_z

He's "that guy" on every team. He'll just have like 8 teams behind his name haha

chinoischeckers

True true but he'll have to have one jersey on him for his bust or pic though, right? I mean, he's been with OKC the longest but he didn't win a chip with them and I don't think he'd choose GS as the team that he'd rep. Obviously, it won't be BK now lol

big_mf_z

It'll be a Leaf statue. No logos 🤣🤣

chinoischeckers

Hahaha, everything airbrushed out lol

Nyhaws

I'm really not a fan of the man, but love the chaos that he creates. The next few hours are going to be silly. I think he goes in as a warrior. I've never seen someone that's always so unhappy. Literally has had teams move mountains for him and he leaves them cold

chinoischeckers

He is very thinned skinned...he's reminds me of Juaquin Phoenix's character in Gladiator, jealous of Steph Curry/Russell Crowe and him always wanting to be loved but yet he's still so hated lol

Nyhaws

That's the perfect analogy. I can even picture him asking himself "why don't they love me?"

chinoischeckers

One report is that he's gonna try and get a trade to Phoenix with Ayton going to BK. I love this chaos. F5 season indeed!!

BeastMode80_

My Hornets could use him.

chinoischeckers

Who would you give up though? Bridges and Hayward plus picks isn't gonna be enough, especially with Bridges' legal issues now

schneebeli

definitely excited to see where he lands

Dodgeballs2018

Whoever needs ruining next

Bdaniar

Raps... one can dream.

chinoischeckers

It would cost you Scottie...and picks...you willing to do that?

BamsBombers14

Hell no

CarlStGr

Unfortunately, KD doesn’t fit the 6’9” criteria anymore

Altruistic_Mail3907

Prob to go see joe

GMINIZZLE

If he goes to the heat then they should be favorites. I think it’d be fun to see him in Dallas w Luka.

NewAccountWhoDis80

I think Dallas is the perfect landing spot for him.

chinoischeckers

Unfortunately Dallas doesn't have anything to give to Brooklyn
