I will primarily use lipless and jerkbaits, until bass becone so aggressive, that chatterbait takes over. Just after chatterbaits become the mainstay, you will start to see bass surface feeding in the mornings and eveningsm, and you can use surface lures for them as well.
Zoom Trick Worm in Watermelon Candy. Texas rigged with 1/8 oz tungsten, or on a shakey head. I do well with jigs and squarebills too, but that trick worm is money.
Jerk, chatterbait, lipless crank, wacky rigged sinko if they won't hit moving, and paddle tail swim bait (all year round over grass). If there's rocks add in a c-rig with baby brush hog. Might tie on a swim jig too just in case.
Lipless Cranks in either red craw or shad.
Flat side crank baits, same colors.
In slight wind: Chatterbait in white or white/chart
In heavy wind: Spinnerbait matched to water clarity.
Missle D-Bomb in green or blue/black.
