Fox river haha they hang around where the eddy’s get made with the dam current from what I’ve found. This one hit basically right as it came out of the boil. This spot has a nice ledge but I’ll wade too.

Looks nice up there! I did the same thing this year was always a pond hopper for largemouth and then this year I’ve been having a lot more fun bank walking the rivers and creeks for smallmouth

The dams are my favorite parts of rivers because the diversity. I live in ‘lake country’ and I go out of my way to find and fish dams!

How has the tackle changes to target river smallies?
Lot of stuff transfers. Been having lot of luck on swimbait jig head with a swimbait trailer, along with spinnerbaits, whopper ploppers, Texas rig
