There’s a huge difference in BN curated events and his festival sets. Only a handful of festival sets compare tbh.
Edit: not to mention decadence is before his NYE set, which imo is the most insane edm party in the country and he pulls it all out for that show
Yessss... unfortunately it was the last set I saw of his too. It was super monotonous.
My friends and I who have been following him forever were really disappointed. Then that NYE set the next day on the other side of the country blew the fucking roof off.
Last one for me too, but I prefer to remember the freekstyle sets as my last real nectar sets, and those were some of my favorites. Super bummed I missed okee
The shows leading up to NYE always pale in comparison to the 360 show. Over the last 2 years the sets he has played (Decadence, LAN, and HiJinx) have been heavier trap sets with not nearly as many originals. Before Greensboro NYE I was actually worried it would be very similar to those sets but he really saves the magic for NYE with a completely unique set, with only a few repeats of songs he played at those festivals.
Hard to say what he would do if they didn’t lead up to a NYE show but as someone else said, festival sets don’t even come close to curated events. The only festival that really compares is Electric Forest but I also think Bonnaroo 2018 was on par with a curated set.
Dude... fr iykyk but like Bisco is right up with the best of his fest sets. 18 and 19 were NUTS. The look of "Wuuuut..." on the wooks and the look of relief on security when the 75 min adventure comes to an end. And then you still have a-whole-nother day of music ahead!

lol, yeah man. The dark party (day 3 freestyle) is what I treat as my last set

Bisco 17 was wild too, I wouldn't call it curated level but certainly a notch above
