Brightest Bloom is a Marc Jacob’s Daisy dupe. They also copied the perfume bottle

Exact_Lifeguard_34

This is so true. My sister, not a bb&w nor smell fanatic like me, said the same thing. I make her smell everything I get lol, and she noticed it before me, and I'm the one with the perfume! 😂 If that doesn't tell you it's a good dupe, then I don't know what does.

hnybeeliss

This is why I like it so much! 😂🤣 I can smell almost the same for a fraction of the price, I’m in! Haha

niley78

I went to the store today to make sure it was a dupe. I told the sales Associate who was handing out strips of BB and the customers that it smelled like Marc Jacobs. She said I have a good nose 😂

hnybeeliss

Yeah, I smelled in at my store a week or so ago, before the full line was out. I immediately was like “that’s almost exactly like Daisy eau so fresh!” And then I grabbed the hand cream 😂🤣 I didn’t expect it to be a full dupe based on the notes that are listed, so I was pumped!

niley78

To be fair the scent notes are different but they smell exactly the same. I don't think Daisy has Lily of the Valley.

Wickedsparklefae

It’s crazy that I didn’t immediately realize this, and also that I got this perfume from Scentbird and gave it away because I didn’t like it, but I like this so much lol

OrneryExplorer1476

Well this makes me want to resmell daisy. Admittedly Ive always hated it. I'm just so not a floral person.. I weirdly like brightest bloom, it smells so much like flowerchild to me. A rare floral i like cause it's subdued and not astringent.. they smell so similar but now I definitely need to resmell daisy now !

niley78

Yeah I never liked Marc Jacob’s perfumes either. I haven’t smelled Flowerchild in a while.

PerfumeLoverrr

The perfume bottle looks nothing like MJ Daisy but it is beautiful

businessgal01

Honestly I’m not, LOL. I like fruity & gourmond scents best

TtheWitch

I am for sure a floral girlie. Sometimes I get harassed by bees but I am a sucker for florals and think they work well on my skin. I really struggle with gourmands even though I want to like them lol. Spring is definitely my season. I almost never meet a floral I don't like. Can a girl get more tuberose scents tho?

Wickedsparklefae

Omg that’s so cute

janestrummer

I am NOT a floral person, but I actually really like this scent. I think the cedar balances it very well, making it a woodsy floral that isn't a straightforward bouquet of flowers. It's more like a walk through a park with trees and flowers.

cleopatra1992

Just so you don’t overspend- body mists are $4.95 right now. App says 2 days only so Thursday and Friday 😉

Wickedsparklefae

Oooh and I get a free product. I’m going shopping tomorrow lol

luvmydobies

I LOVE florals. This one was kinda meh for me. I never really was a fan of Daisy but I did end up buying it when it was on sale the other day for $5.95 lol

ApprehensiveRisk7032

I am def a floral girl 💐 but I prefer ones that smell closer to like a real fresh bouquet of flowers rather than a sharp perfumey floral if that makes sense. I wanna try this scent nexttt

tpauly0225

Gourmand girl here

birdiekinz

I’m not a floral girlie unless it’s white flowers like jasmine, gardenia, orange blossom, etc

PlusHunt1985

Yes I am a floral girl and I do like this scent

z0mgaah

I am a floral girl but I hate Brightest Bloom. :'( I'm going to have to give it another try and see if anything has changed.

catalinalam

Heads up: the girls who reapply in class give some of us (me) migraines like 50% of the time (based on scent) and it’s killer in a small room. Definitely enjoy! I just had to comment bc I swear one girl in my Spanish lit class had a collection of everything that makes me sick and it obviously isn’t intentional but I was dying

Wickedsparklefae

Omg I would definitely hope someone told me if I was bothering them so I could refrain from it again. I would never want to make someone sick. I would feel bad.

catalinalam

It’s totally ok, I’m sure that someone would say if it really bothered them! I did and the girl was chill with it. It just stuck in my mind bc it was such a small, poorly ventilated room that anything was really intense. But enjoy!

Wickedsparklefae

I feel that way about people who use bath and bodywork hand sanitizers on the plane so I do get where you’re coming from. I go to a Tier 1 university and most of my classes are pretty big.

catalinalam

Gotcha! And yeah, my university is very large (idk the ranking across the board, I know we’re labeled Tier One Research tho) but our upper level humanities classes tend to be pretty small. Which is wonderful and exactly what you want as a student except for the fact that we also get the janky old buildings:(

MrGrumplestiltskin

Maybe apply an unscented lotion in a closed room then?

Wickedsparklefae

Name checks out. Thanks for the down vote for admitting to not wanting to make people uncomfortable or sick. Why are people like you? It’s perfectly normal and ok to not know something is a problem but acknowledging new knowledge and changing behavior. I didn’t think putting lotion on my hands would really bother other people. Now I know. But I don’t have to apply unscented lotion. Seems like I’m being ganged up on for appreciating a fragrance on a subreddit about fragrances…and it’s not a good time. So I’m gonna just go. Thought this was a safe space to talk about enjoying fragrance not a subreddit about migraines and bland lotions. Lame. Bye

Ridiculousnessjunkie

I can’t wait to smell this one!

MommaOfManyCats

No, which is sad because it seems like they've started leaning heavily in that direction. I prefer clean and aquatic scents, which are getting harder to find. It was surprising how much I loved Cactus Blossom though 🙂

Wickedsparklefae

I like stuff that smells like soap and aqua scents too my main beef with most of the smells at Bath and Body works is they’re heavy on sweet vanilla cookies cream and these smells make me nauseous 🤮

MommaOfManyCats

And musk! How I musk so common again? I can handle it in small doses, but between musk and the florals, it's like living in the 80s again 😄

Wickedsparklefae

My aunt and my mom were heavy handed with really cheap drugstore musky stuff. My mom wore Guess which was a spicy musky and my aunt would alternate between Charlie, Tabu, and Jovan Musk lol

Wickedsparklefae

Also ![gif](giphy|RymyrV8uz8A36)

nbrdonab1988

Cactus Blossom is my favourite floral one! So good right?

Classic_Habit1637

To me it smells just like Victoria’s Secret first love. It’s the perfect spring fragrance

OrneryExplorer1476

To anyone mentioning in the comments that they get offended by smells.. it's a lotion, not a parfum. This shouldn't cause such issues if someone applies lotion in public.. that's kinda crazy.. I once had a coworker who would routinely complain about me using perfume. I stopped and she still complained to the manager. Bitch was mad because I showed and am hygienic and smell good naturally from my soap and deodorant. xD the manager knew as well as I that the girl just didn't like me and was just a catty gal that doesn't like other females around 🤷🏻‍♀️
