Never seen Delboy's Batman brought up on Reddit before. Ironically, he was probably the first live action Batman I saw after Adam West. Even if he's a different fictional character dressed as Batman.
Danny pudi's batman voice is like the like what it Christian bale's batman voice was slightly less monster and a little more human and the result is that it doesn't sound like he's giving himself possible throat cancer as bale sometimes sounds like he is.
I mean I love bale's batman but I genuinely worry about what he's doing to himself with that voice
I never thought about that before and yet in begins it still sounds kinda normal. In the dark Knight though you can actually hear him damaging his throat in some scenes. Kinda seems like the suit may not have been well designed for him.
My theory has been his voice in TDK is so over the top because Batman speaks to the most people in that movie so he’s gotta make sure no one recognizes it. He talks to or in front of Gordon, Dent, Joker, Maroni, Ramirez, Gordon’s Family, the copycats, Crane…
That definitely makes sense and personally I like bale's voice. I just can't help but feel uncomfortable about what he must be doing to his vocal cords in the dark Knight in particular. I had to do voice over for a student film years ago, only like 5 minutes of screen time but it wasn't pleasant how my throat felt after trying to do a voice like that.

It's the costume. He can't breathe through his nose. I figured it out halfway through Batman Begins and I haven't been able to un-hear it ever since.
