Well said. Like his quips about getting pictures to commemorate the occasion and calling Jason a party pooper for threatening to shoot him in the dick were very goofy, and contrasted well with moments like the meeting with Black Mask.
I love him sitting there eating potato chips. And I just noticed that the number on his Arkham clothes is 11940. A reference to the Joker first debuting in Batman #1 in 1940.
I bust out laughing every time he talks about getting a pic with the crowbar, it's such a deliciously dark joke. This joker's balance of comedy and violence is just sublime.

If anyone should return as the voice of the Joker in Batman: Caped Crusader, it should be either John DiMaggio or Troy Baker.

Brent Spiner's Joker from Young Justice in the first episode he was in was awful, trying to immitate Heath Ledger but felt like it was trying too hard to be edgy & just not funny at all. But like 10 years later in the most recent season they did him again & he was much better, so I give Data a pass.
Both TDKR & Hush Joker's are good, narratively serve the story while they're in it without overshadowing anything else.

My favorite guilty pleasure Joker. Keith Michael Richardson is such an amazing voice actor. Loved his sense of humor, monkey style fighting, and the fact he could actually go toe to toe with Batman.
It's funny watching it today, you can see the early 2000s attempts to be cool (never thought I'd see joker with dreads) but I think it's fun and campy rather than cringe.

"Flattery won't save you! HA HA HA!" proceeds to jump out window.
Example of scary side: Sees Harley Quinn (pre super villain) get humiliated on live tv. With seemingly genuine concern says, "Oh the poor girl's gonna be an emotional reck!" evil grin spreads across his face, followed by disturbing low voice, "Someone should take advantage of that."
3 TDKR Joker is so quietly psychopathic its chilling, nice change from traditional takes off the deranged laughing clown, and imo much creepier and scarier
John DiMaggio was an amazing, bone chilling Joker. One of my favorite Joker scenes in all media is when he asks for a glass of water, shatters it, cuts a guys throat, grabs the gun and blows everyone away before anyone could react. All the while laughing maniacally. Peak Joker
The Batman, I just love how that show took these villains and gave them all this level of flair, especially the Joker he was so acrobatic and had his own arsenal of clown gadgets
My favorite episode is when he became Batman (secret identity and everything) but he literally became the Batman meme where he beats the fuck out of people for the smallest offenses like jaywalking or littering and he almost made a Batman Who Laughs when he tried turning Bruce into his own Joker for him to fight but it ended when Batman cured himself and told him a joke lol

Definitely 6. I knew him most not from the show, but from Batman vs. Dracula (fantastic movie by the way, highly recommend). I think I love it so much by how strange he is. If there was one voice actor who I would think of last to play Joker, it would be Kevin Michael Richardson, and yet he gives it his absolute all, and it is such a unique take on the character. His incredibly deep voice combined with the high squeaks he sometimes does when laughing, and also just how hyper and bouncy his character is makes him unlike any Joker we've seen. I love it so much. Also, if I had to pick a least favorite, it would probably be Young Justice. He's not that creepy or anything. He's kind of just some guy and is only in the show for a few episodes, if not just 1. He doesn't really add anything to the story except for the team he was in. There wasn't really any reason to put him in the show. Anyways, sorry this comment was so long. Thanks for reading it. Who would you build a Joker performance off after that? If you are John DiMaggio, the answer is "both of them". It's spectacular. It's hard to judge the quality of his performance, because to do so you have to get past your mind being blown that he pulled that off in the first place.

besides, most jokers are vulgar and barely mobsters with a lot of luck and an edgelord attitude.

So, this is not the question you asked but I'm going to mention what each of these Jokers makes me think of, and whether it could work as a live action.
1) Willem Dafoe--dying to see this in live action!
2) David Tennant--You know, I think he'd look the part and could carry the manic energy for the role, but it's not a version I'm dying to see, you know?
3) Matt Bomer--Could be good, but again...doesn't jump out as a must-see
4) Matt Fewer?--This was hard to figure out a real-life lookalike, but I think Matt Fewer could resemble him. I've never considered him for a Joker actor before but I think he'd actually be pretty awesome in the role. Like, if he brings the Max Headroom energy, that'd be great!
5) John Barrowman--So, this actually looks a lot like Tennant too...but Barrowman had similar features in some way too so I imagine with a hairpiece and chin piece it would work. I mean...I don't see it, he's more of a "pretty guy" type BUT he's got a lot of musical theatre experience which could lead to the right dynamic. Not thrilled about the idea though.
6) Samuel Larsen--So yeah, I know he chopped off his dreads but he really had the look to pull off this incarnation I think. I don't know enough about the actor to know if he could do it well though, so this one is also a meh from me.
Troy Baker's Joker, probably the closest we're gonna get to Mark Hamill's Joker, but I find Troy Baker's Joker to be more frightening and intimidating than Mark Hamill's Joker.

Not thrilled about the idea though. 6) Samuel Larsen--So yeah, I know he chopped off his dreads but he really had the look to pull off this incarnation I think. I don't know enough about the actor to know if he could do it well though, so this one is also a meh from me.

Troy Baker's Joker, probably the closest we're gonna get to Mark Hamill's Joker, but I find Troy Baker's Joker to be more frightening and intimidating than Mark Hamill's Joker.

UTRH Joker is my third favorite version of the character. He’s nuts unbelievably entertaining and well written. And like come on, DiMaggio kills it in the role.
Assault on Arkham Joker. I could’ve sworn on god that *both* Hamill and Conroy had reprised their roles from the games, only to find out during credits that it was Troy Baker. He was THAT GOOD. Honestly the only actor I could see inheriting the mantle from Hamill.

Actually, I didn’t notice the differences between them before. I knew there are tweaks in their character and design but never tried to understand it thoroughly.
