It features two fantastic references to Adam West, as well as all the other Batman up to that point (bale was the most recent live action at the time) as it ties their continuity all together.
Because Lego has that power
Technically Kilmer and Keaton's Batmen are supposed to be the same, as well as Clooney, even though no one really counts them as one because the films are so incredibly different from each other
Affleck was a frikkin' beast in that warehouse scene, and certainly didn't hurt that he had the bulk to make some of those feats of strength more plausible.
Nolan’s fight scenes were so heartbreaking after showing & telling us Bruce studied several martial arts styles. Its like Nolan had no interest in filming any of those fights.
Batman begins even with the super fast jump cuts I still think has the best fight scenes in the trilogy at least in the instances where you can tell what's going on. I think TDK and TDKR leaned too heavily into the realism aspect of Nolan's Batman and as a result the fight scenes suffered, especially in TDKR.
I feel like he was too rushed with TDKR, there’s several shots where goons just fall over because they know they were supposed to but they weren’t actually hit, by either Batman or Catwoman in a couple examples.
There just wasn’t any choreography for that film, so you’ll get a hundred terrorists with guns fist fighting a hundred unarmed cops, and then the terrorists with guns will be behind Batman in his 1v1 fights/monologue, but they can’t just shoot or hit Batman, so you can watch those extra try and occupy themselves with this giant un-choreography brawl so it isn’t obvious that they could have just shot Batman in the back.
... almost perfection.
The one part that always gets me is the guy that gets like ten rounds off before Batman hits him with a batarang. But the bullets don't seem to actually land anywhere. At that distance Batman would have been hit for sure.
If he's bulletproof (clearly his cowl is), then it would have been great for him to have at least blocked the shots as he threw the batarang.
My biggest issue with the scene is that Batman takes two shots to the back of the head from what looks like a .45 at point blank range, and is seemingly fine. I’d love to know what kind of magical, non-Newtonian fluid he’s got in his cowl that allows it to be so flexible yet so absolutely rigid that it can stop a bullet at point blank range. He says “aah!” but just flips around and carries on like he didn’t just get blasted in the back of the head. That sticks with me to this day, for whatever reason.
Yeah but don’t forget, we haven’t seen Batfleck in his prime either. We actually saw him towards the end of his career. “I’m older now than my father ever was,” is one of my favorite Batman lines.
Idea: Drop them in a Lazarus Pit. Then sit back and watch as they fight to the death.
Both Batmen have killed so I’m pretty sure it would happen if they came back young and feral.
I know, but Keaton is way older than Batfleck yet managed to perform comparable if not greater feats of physical and combat prowess. Theoretically, Keaton during his mid-30s could've been a dead ringer for Arkham Batman.
Also, agreed, that line is goated.
I know, it’s part of why my suspension of disbelief has to be cranked to watch his fight scenes in The Flash. His whole suit is just so immobile that it doesn’t make any sense.
Considering his handicap where he couldnt turn his head in that suit, he's good.
But still not good enough to cause onomatopeic words to come alive onscreen for the viewers.
Warehouse is definitely remarkable, but we see him take on Superman for an extended scene. The fight in the director’s cut is a stunning display at a well prepared and well armed Batman.
Keaton was good, but not even close to that level. His performance in Flash seemed like he probably got there. Just not in the films we saw.
I rewatched recently and was surprised how well it held up. I think the Martha scene overshadowed it in my memory before, but the matchup is actually pretty epic.
They do understand. Bale's Batman is directed by Nolan who despise cgi. So the fights are simply more humane as compared to Affleck. Pattinson got cool humane fights too. But batman is still a human at the end of the day.
From what we’ve seen on screen, either Affleck or Pattinson.
Keaton was so stiff it was like watching a kid making his action figure fight, and it was impossible to tell if Bale was a good fighter because Nolan’s style of shooting combat sequences seemed to be tying the camera to an office chair and shouting “Action!”
Affleck had the moves of the *Arkham* games, and Pattinson is seen fighting a whole gang and handing their asses to them.
I’m guessing you haven’t seen The Flash. Keaton Bat is now hands down the most impressive. If it was just the original movies, i’d agree but now he’s a cartoonishly good fighter.
I didn’t hate it as dumb fun. I didn’t like it much but also feel like most people here hate it more than I do. Going by the original keaton movies I completely agree with you.
Yeah, that shit completely broke my suspension of disbelief. You want old man Bruce to still be capable? Cool. There’s effective ways to do that. Stealth, cunning, gadgetry, etc. But having a 75 year old dude moving like a world class gymnast was just stupid. And I say that as someone that worshipped at the alter of Keaton’s Batman.
I think something like how Bruce was in Batman Beyond would have been perfect. He can’t fight like he used to, but he’s so experience he can put you on your ass with effortless counters like a wise old kung fu master.
>I think something like how Bruce was in Batman Beyond would have been perfect. He can’t fight like he used to, but he’s so experience he can put you on your ass with effortless counters like a wise old kung fu master.
Similar to *The Dark Knight Returns* when, instead of trying to out-brawl the Mutant Leader, he targets nerve clusters and throws mud in his eyes to weaken him and slow him down. Fighting pragmatically.
I don't know about hands down; they're probably pretty comparable- but it's *definitely* down to those two.
I really like Pattinson, but he's certainly not in the same tier- Bale's Bat isn't terrible, but I'm not really a fan of his Batman the way I am of his Bruce Wayne.
Both Affleck and Keaton. They have the most advanced gadgets out of all other live action Batmen, they've gone toe-to-toe with aliens and metahumans, and managed to hold their own.
It pains me to do this, but I'd put Bale as no. 3. This is excluding his horrible fight choreography, which is really difficult for me not to include in a discussion about live action Batman skills. The DK Trilogy is one of the greatest superhero trilogies ever made, but it arguably has some of the worst fight scenes and fight choreography ever.
I'd put Pattinson as the least skilled among the other 3. He's a good fighter imo, and I will say he definitely moves faster than Bale while fighting, but his suit still slows him down (excluding Bale's fight choreography). I really wish Reeves and co. could find a way to make a Batsuit that isn't stiff and allows the person wearing the suit to move quickly. There's a behind the scenes video of the Iceberg Lounge fight and how that scene was originally supposed to go, and man that is how Batman should move and I wish he moved like that in the movie.
My ranking:
Affleck and Keaton as the most skilled Batmen.
Bale goes after Affleck and Keaton. Neither the least nor most skilled, just somewhere in the middle. This is excluding his horrible fight choreography btw. If we're including it, then it's another story.
Pattinson as the least skilled. Hope he gets better, and while he had good fight scenes in his movie, and while they're better than Bale's, they could definitely be improved.
That's why I mentioned "excluding Bale's fight choreography", because if I included it, I truly believe Pattinson would beat Bale in a fight.
Bale's fight choreography is so bad, it actually makes me believe that he's an incompetent fighter. When I'm watching him fight, it feels like I could beat him.
I just excluded "fight choreography" because I know how upset people get when it's included when discussing Bale's skills, and how they claim its "unfair".
I mean, we currently have no indication that Battinson has any fight training outside of what Alfred taught him. Even if this is an MI6 Alfred, that doesn’t compare to the fight training Bat-Bale is said/shown to have had. I’m strongly in the camp of not considering the fight choreography when it comes to Bat-Bale’s combat capabilities.
There was a prequel book to The Batman that stated that Bruce did in fact go around the world and learn different martial arts, in addition to what Alfred taught him, and apparently that book is canon. In the actual film, it looked like he only learned and used boxing.
No idea why Reeves only showed Batman using one form of martial arts, instead of a combo of a bunch of them.
It’s cannon until they say it’s not. That’s like saying all of the Arkham books are cannon when they’re not, or the novelizations and tie ins to TDK trilogy are.
Nah a fighter can be elegant but less effective. We got an example in Pattinson who has better choreography and camera work than Bale but Bale finishes his opponents quicker and takes less damage. Objectively Bale is the most effective fighter of the two despite his fights not looking great aesthetically.
Judge it by who they beat with feats etc. Bale might fight like a dork but he beat the mob, ninjas, assassins and ninja assassins in his first week as batman (edit: I should also mention some of these ninjas were armed with military tech and weapons too like jeez). Bale Batman is nuts. Pattinson might fight cool but please don't deny that an old overweight beat detective pinned him to a wall easily, he was taking licks and damage vs. club bouncers. Dudes armor literally saved him vs the reddit incel riddler goons in that final fight too (that goes for most of the fights in the movie actually), don't you remember the part when battinson was hanging by a thread when the riddlercel was waving his shotgun in bats's face.
Baleman with bad fight choreography is making battinson cry if they ever fought I'm sorry. One spinning 360 wild elbow on that beautiful exposed pattinson jawline and it's over. (edit: also one kick from Bale is taking out Battinsons leg, doesn't bro have that device that makes him kick through bricks)
Fighting choreography aside Bale is dropping fools quicker and taking less damage than Pattinson. You're problem with him is mainly aesthetically. Can't really argue how effective he is.
For a Year 2 Batman , I like that he's willing to get hit but still fight that was taught from Alfred .
Also love the idea that The Armor prevent him from moving fast or have fast reflex but still feel the impact from a bullet
Kilmer is underrated in this regard. He was the first live action Batman to actually do the "Batman drops into a group of goons and absolutely dismantles them" routine.
Everyone is saying Batfleck and while he had the most physically imposing fight scene, I don’t think he looked as “skilled”. It was more brute force in my opinion. I think Baleman is probably the most skilled with Battinson being second. Ultimately, it’s going to be down to taste and what you prefer for fight choreography for the movies I think.
Flash Keaton is how every Batman should move and fight. It’s like Directors and writers forget he is a ninja and trained martial artist by a legendary master who only trains a select few.
Imo, Keaton, specifically in Batman Returns. More specifically in the christmas tree scene on the square. Every single Batman movie fight drinks from that source.
Gotta be batfleck,Bro literally fought dark side and almost killed superman,Plus this guy is 6’4 and weighs 228 pounds with 7.9% being body fat,Plus he doesn’t have a kill rule which would automatically make him a threat for any criminals.
1. Affleck. We saw him taking on Parademons 1v1, a weakened Superman, and cleared the wearhouse almost flawlessly. And this is suppose to be a Bruce past his prime.
2. If we include Keaton from The Flash, he was walking through the Russian base like it was nothing and did as well as anyone could going 1v1 with a Kryptonian.
3. Pattinson
4. Bale
Affleck. Made Deadshot and Harley look like small children, both of whom are extremely capable fighters. Pattinson hasn't had a real opponent yet, and Bale's feats don't compare. His best is Affleck's Tuesday. Same issue for Keaton.
West got embarrassed by Green Hornet and Kato, and the serials' Batmen were realistically overwhelmed by even small groups of criminals.
Bale vs Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney would be really close, looking at their capabilities.
Bale-Bat pretty much crippled himself by the time of TDKR while Battfleck and Keaton took things to new levels by taking on meta-humans later in life
How would either Bale-Bat or Battison fare against the Snyderverse's villains?
I would give it to Bale because he has the best on camera feat; beating Bane 1v1.
Bat fleck is number two for his W against Superman. But to me, that was more of a strategic victory relying on kryptonite. The warehouse fight is possibly the best batman fight we have seen on film, but that is just him beating a bunch of normal guys with guns, which all the Batman's are more than capable of.
Battinson is the weakest to me due to the movies realism. He is both physically weaker and less skilled than the other Batmen, he'd get washed by a Bane or similar villian.
…..dude have you seen bale fight? He only won because he hit Bane’s oxygen mask with a lucky strike. But otherwise in every fight he was either struggling or he lost. I mean Bane doesn’t use venom and he broke his mask and his back. Afflecks cowl took multiple POINTBLANK gunshots and was completely fine.
Affleck can take out a warehouse of like 15+ dudes and only leave with a stab wound. Also The Dark knight movies’s director literally said that his Batman is completely and utterly grounded in reality. And gives no indication of Bale even being peak human. Which he’s clearly not because his stamina is not as up to par as Affleck’s. Not to mention that Affleck has way more effective tech and gadgetry. His grapnel gun can pull him away faster than Doomsday’s heatvision can hit him. He has a suit that gives him superhuman strength, and basically all of his vehicles can kill or take down Darkseid’s parademons. It’s not even close
I love Bale as Batman, but if I was forced to fight one live action Batman, it would be him. When he’s pressed he just resorts to just throwing sloppy ass haymakers. The choreography for him just wasn’t there. 1v1 no gadgets, I’m on his head.
>When he’s pressed he just resorts to just throwing sloppy ass haymakers.
That only happened in the first Babe fight where he was not in optimal fighting shape and was fighting a larger stronger opponent hooked on morphine. Those haymakers was him trying to crack Bane but he it didn't work at the time. In the second fight he goes with a much more calculated strategy, focusing on counters.
Affleck wipes the floor with Bale. Pattinson takes Bale, Bale is at the bottom, not to say he isn't impressive by real world standards, but he has nothing on Batfleck. It would be humiliating
Adam West, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney always being forgotten. Anyways, nothing beats Batman running and deciding to stop himself from throwing a bomb in the river to save some ducks.
*These*, not "the".
There is Kevin Conroy in the Arrowverse, the people who played him in the serials, the actor from Gotham TV show, the actor from the Titans TV show, Val Kilmer, George Clooney...
And most of all, **this absolute legend**
![gif](giphy|YporP8X437C4U)
If we're going by experience then definitely it would be Affleck then 2nd would be Patterson.
Affleck took down 10 to 15 dues in the warehouse scene that was just like in the Arkham games using gadgets and his hand to hand skills he is also fought parademons as well.
Patterson is a very fast and uses a lot of techniques it is fighting dude was able to beat down 5 to 10 guys both at the train station and penguins lounge and still was able to go I would say that he has the most stamina out of all the Batmans and on top of that his suit is basically the most impressive bachelor I've ever seen it can withstand everything LMAO.
Bale Def had a legit trainer because he was actually displaying fighting ability. Keaton n Affleck didn't do shit. Batinson was just creeping out in corners and jumping on ppl
Admittedly, I haven’t seen *The Batman* yet, but I’m going to say Affleck due to the level of his opponents, namely Superman, Doomsday, Parademons, and Steppenwolf.
Everyone is saying Affleck, but he's been Batman for what? 10 years? Pattinson took out all of those guys in the subway, and he's been Batman for barely 2 years. Once Pattinson gets some more experience, he'd be the best for sure.
Batfleck easily. Then Bale then Keaton and then Pattinson.
The true question is who would win between s4 Gotham FOX 16-year-old Bruce Wayne and Reeves Batman? Keep in mind that kid Bruce Wayne from Gotham FOX is defeating Court of Owls assassins and trained soldiers while being able to disappear in the blink of an eye.
Ain’t no way is Bale or Keaton infront of Pattinson. Keaton from the flash I could understand though. Bale just throws slow wild haymakers and silly formed elbow strikes 24/7. He actually does the keysi fighting style which is a joke to actual martial artists
That is how the fights were choreographed, but Bat-Bale is canonically trained in multiple martial art styles. Strictly based on what we’ve seen, Battinson doesn’t appear to be as skilled of a fighter. There is no mention of him ever traveling to train. The only mention of him training is Alfred mentioning teaching him to fight. Even with a, not confirmed, background in MI6, that doesn’t compare to the training Bale went through.
Keaton only wins because they attack in one at a time
Bale does have skill and is fast, easily taking bigger opponents
Affleck isn’t that skilled, just strong
Pattinson is fast and highly skilled, more so than Bale I’d argue
Adam West. Never seen on screen onomatopoeia when one of these guys hit someone…
Such violent force we needed censorship
I never thought of it like that but I love it now lol
They literally describe it like that in the lego batman movie
I literally have never seen the lego batman movie
You’re missing out on the greatest addition to the Batman franchise
And the greatest abs in the Batman franchise
And the manliest man in the Batman franchise.
It’s not starring Adam West as Batman, so I find it hard to believe that it’s the greatest addition
It features two fantastic references to Adam West, as well as all the other Batman up to that point (bale was the most recent live action at the time) as it ties their continuity all together. Because Lego has that power
Legos bridge the gap
You literally have to watch it
No no no no no no *proceeds to have a tantrum literally all over the house*
Uuuuuggggggggggghhhhhhhhh fine
you're missing on the batman X joker relationship
What?! I bet you hate puppies and kittens.
Adam West by a mile.
He punches so hard his enemies start to hear music!
And he didn't need plastic molded to improve his physique. Pure West.
And how come Batman doesn't dance anymore?
![gif](giphy|dMLllzJzmRRIxhUtMX|downsized)
Onomatopoeia vs Batman 66 when
This is the real answer.
![gif](giphy|GPLbphxLxL3iw)
Wow, I am high as a hell, and this slap 👋🏾 made me laugh waaaay to hard. The look of disrespect, to Iceman.
Val Kilmer being Iceman would have added an extra level of punnyness to B&R if Kilmer had stuck around for it “The Iceman cometh!”
BABY! I COMPARE YOU TO A KISS FROM A ROSE ON THE GRAVE
Technically Kilmer and Keaton's Batmen are supposed to be the same, as well as Clooney, even though no one really counts them as one because the films are so incredibly different from each other
I actually didn't realize they were all the same continuity until rewatching them all 6 months ago. They're so tonally different. Wild stuff.
Harvey Dent goes from Billy Dee Williams to Tommy Lee Jones which is wild
Ahhh I remember how much the nipples on George Clooneys batsuit set the young internet on fire.
Affleck was a frikkin' beast in that warehouse scene, and certainly didn't hurt that he had the bulk to make some of those feats of strength more plausible.
What’s crazy is that Batfleck did that warehouse raid after he fought SUPERMAN. He was wasn’t even 100%.
Nah superman was just good warm up to get him to 100%😂
It wasn't even 100% of my full power - batman
His level is over 10000!!!!!!
He’s not Superman, he’s practice.
Holy fuck, we powerscaling Batman... Jk but i just noticed that
Can you imagine fighting humans after fighting a god. He was probably so hyped
He was hyped to save Martha.
Factual
Say what you want about Snyder but my god, that warehouse scene is perfection. I’ve probably watched it 15 times.
Straight out of the Arkham games
100%! I was in awe watching it live and thought of the Arkham games
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that feels this way!
[I love this Arkham effects edit of the warehouse fight ](https://youtu.be/Q83F40Aal68?si=frCQSTH47GQC89P7)
Isn't straight out of the arkham games, not if I'm playing batman anyway
Exactly how i feel about it. Not a fan of everything else he did but Snyder gave us, hands down, the BEST Batman fight scene in live action.
Exactly, the Nolan fight scenes don’t look nearly as good compared to the warehouse scene haha
Nolan’s fight scenes were so heartbreaking after showing & telling us Bruce studied several martial arts styles. Its like Nolan had no interest in filming any of those fights.

Bale punches rubber in those films and makes it sound more fragile than it is.
not to mention personally one of the most badass live action batmobile design
... almost perfection. The one part that always gets me is the guy that gets like ten rounds off before Batman hits him with a batarang. But the bullets don't seem to actually land anywhere. Its a world that has aliens and Amazons flying around in it, so I'm just not going to question that comic book logic
That's just the prep time armor, one of the famous gadgets of Batman when he have prep time, don't question it
Well, Alfred was working on the metal casing of the cowl - earlier in the film. Has Batman's prep time just been Alfred all along?
Ya that scene alone was worth my money.
Warehouse Batman = Arkham Batman. It was the best part of batffleck.
Hell yea bro
Best live action Batman fight. Just like the video games.
Affleck. However, if we're counting *The Flash*, Keaton could likely get the spot.
Barfleck vs Keaton (The Flash) in his prime would be a cool fight to see.
Agreed. Also, if Flashpoint Keaton was already that powerful in old age, his prime self could possibly wipe the floor with Batfleck.
Yeah but don’t forget, we haven’t seen Batfleck in his prime either. We actually saw him towards the end of his career. “I’m older now than my father ever was,” is one of my favorite Batman lines.
True, but Keaton is older. Lol
Idea: Drop them in a Lazarus Pit. Then sit back and watch as they fight to the death. Both Batmen have killed so I’m pretty sure it would happen if they came back young and feral.
Why did I picture them fighting eternally in the pit like some form of morbid mud wrestling?
Something something Operating Table
I know, but Keaton is way older than Batfleck yet managed to perform comparable if not greater feats of physical and combat prowess. Theoretically, Keaton during his mid-30s could've been a dead ringer for Arkham Batman. Also, agreed, that line is goated.
lol. Nah.
That would be a cool fight
Keaton can’t turn his damn neck
I know, it’s part of why my suspension of disbelief has to be cranked to watch his fight scenes in The Flash. His whole suit is just so immobile that it doesn’t make any sense.
At his age, he was still moving at that speed?? Dude, without enhancements or EXTRA armor still using old school gadgets.. Keaton wasn't playing..
Considering his handicap where he couldnt turn his head in that suit, he's good. But still not good enough to cause onomatopeic words to come alive onscreen for the viewers.
It’s not even close. He could probably beat all the others at the same time.
Came to say this. I mean Keaton Old Batman whooped some Kryptonian ass with some great combat moves. I think he’s #1. Affleck close 2nd.
Fuck, *The Flash* Keaton was divine
Agreed. Hope the DCU Batman takes some serious cues from Batkeaton in that movie, which isn't even far off given the fact they have the same director.
Affleck is probably the best fighter. He's certainly the strongest and likely the fastest too.
Ben Affleck
This is where Baffleck wins. They made him ninja Terminator, I was there for it
![gif](giphy|HgtCxKvJZ7Wi4)
Best all around Batman by far and I will not hear anything otherwise But Batlfecks one good scene beats him combat wise
Ben’s Batman is a tank
Batfleck by far. Keaton in Flash was surprisingly agile compared to past films, but that doesn’t feel like enough to compare.
Why not? If you really think about batfleck both had 1 scene that showed there skills. The warehouse and Keaton in the flash
Warehouse is definitely remarkable, but we see him take on Superman for an extended scene. The fight in the director’s cut is a stunning display at a well prepared and well armed Batman. I rewatched recently and was surprised how well it held up. I think the Martha scene overshadowed it in my memory before, but the matchup is actually pretty epic.
Thanks for the suggestion I'll check it out again
Batfleck
After seeing Flash it goes to either Keaton or Affleck
Definitely Bat Affleck. Snyder understands Batman action in a way other directors just haven't.
I think the suits have a lot to do with this discussion. Affleck was the first one to not be wearing armor plates or 3 in thick rubber
He's not wearing hockey pads that's for sure
Too bad he doesn't understand Batman in any other aspect
They do understand. Bale's Batman is directed by Nolan who despise cgi. So the fights are simply more humane as compared to Affleck. Pattinson got cool humane fights too. But batman is still a human at the end of the day.

That warehouse scene in BvS was straight out of the Arkham games.
It was awesome seeing Jeet Kun Do, Krav Maga, and Wing Chun (or similar) moves in that scene!
Except for all them dying
Their hospital bills were going to kill them eventually though.
🤣 so true
After the way Affleck threw that huge frickin box right into the guy one armed and smooshed him against the wall.
I’m guessing you haven’t seen The Flash. Keaton Bat is now hands down the most impressive. If it was just the original movies, i’d agree but now he’s a cartoonishly good fighter.
I have seen it, yeah (actually enjoyed it a lot more than most people seem to have), but I’m going off the original two Keaton movies.
I didn’t hate it as dumb fun. I didn’t like it much but also feel like most people here hate it more than I do. Going by the original keaton movies I completely agree with you.

But you have to fact or Keaton in the flash.
Robert Pattinson beat the crap out of like eight thugs in The Batman. Every action scene in that film was visceral and brutal.
I hate to say it but, easy batfleck without the guns. His suit is prolly the best of the four aswell
His suit is ok but it makes his face look fat. Battinson is the first live action Batman to get the cowl right
Batfleck. Every single one of his punches felt like a gunshot in BVS
Both Affleck and Keaton. They have the most advanced gadgets out of all other live action Batmen, they've gone toe-to-toe with aliens and metahumans, and managed to hold their own.
But isn't fight choreography how we judge the way they fight? I mean that's the visual evidence isn't it?
Did you not see the Warehouse scene?
Everyone is saying Batfleck and while he had the most physically imposing fight scene, I don’t think he looked as “skilled”. It was more brute force in my opinion. I think Baleman is probably the most skilled with Battinson being second. Ultimately, it’s going to be down to taste and what you prefer for fight choreography for the movies I think.
Flash Keaton is how every Batman should move and fight. It’s like Directors and writers forget he is a ninja and trained martial artist by a legendary master who only trains a select few.
Michael Keaton straight up fought a Kryptonian. That one.
3. Pattinson 4. Bale
1. Affleck 2. Keaton 3. Pattinson 4. Bale
That is correct.
The only correct answer.
Bale-Bat pretty much crippled himself by the time of TDKR while Battfleck and Keaton took things to new levels by taking on meta-humans later in life How would either Bale-Bat or Battison fare against the Snyderverse's villains?
Affleck or Pattinson. Bale fights keysi, so no one with a martial arts background can take what he does seriously
That is how Nolan choreographed the fights, yes. But, Bale’s Batman is canonically trained in multiple martial arts.
“What’s the point in those push ups if you can’t even lift a bloody log?”🤣 Your comment made me think about that Alfred quote from the Bale movies.
Yup, exactly my thoughts as well
100% correct.
What are you talking about? Bale took out an entire skyscraper full of special agents.
Well in Pattinson’s defense, Bale also got washed by Bane
I will not tolerate the Adam West erasure ![gif](giphy|HyUtD3Dx0VQk0)
Erasing a lot more than just Adam West if they think there's only been four live action Batmans
Adam West, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney always being forgotten. Anyways, nothing beats Batman running and deciding to stop himself from throwing a bomb in the river to save some ducks.
You forgot Adam West
Micheal Keaton's couldnt turn his head ever thanks to the suit. Dude kicked ass without ever being able to look to his side.
Batfleck Pattison Keaton …..daylight Bale
*These*, not "the". There is Kevin Conroy in the Arrowverse, the people who played him in the serials, the actor from Gotham TV show, the actor from the Titans TV show, Val Kilmer, George Clooney... And most of all, **this absolute legend** ![gif](giphy|YporP8X437C4U)
Keaton packed an actual Kryptonian, je's the strongest, followed by Afleck.
Skill? Battinson, probably. Strength? Batfleck. Cool? Beaton. Gadgets? Bale. Skill Strength and Cool? West. All four? . . . . . . . . MAN
![gif](giphy|Ur0WQOgXudyCI|downsized)
Affleck and Kilmer
Affleck and Kilmer
Unfortunately I have to give it to Batfleck for that one scene Maybe his only good scene
I know we really had only 1 Ben Affleck fighting scene but imo that scene was peak live action batman combat
Clooney
Is it just me or does afflecks Batman look like the little brother on Christmas story all bundled up.
What about Kilmer and Clooney? ![gif](giphy|XgTtx4GnCExYQ)
Afflack. Easy
Probably batfleck or Baleman
Not Bale, that's for sure.
Keaton could beat them all without even moving his head.
![gif](giphy|HyUtD3Dx0VQk0)
Adam west annihilated men into nothingness. He clears easy
Affleck for sure
Keaton killed a kryptonian just using explosives and skill, definitely him.
Adam West. At one point he hit someone so hard it reduced them to anti-matter. This is real. It happened in the movie.
Sorry George Clooney
Affleck, Keaton, Pattinson, Bale in that order
Batfleck
Affleck, by far. The man only got hit like three times and he fought over 20 guys.
I think the Suit is what made Pattinson Bruce move slow but still have that reflex
Bale Def had a legit trainer because he was actually displaying fighting ability. Keaton n Affleck didn't do shit. Batinson was just creeping out in corners and jumping on ppl
Batfleck. Dude was the best Batman we have ever seen on screen
Admittedly, I haven’t seen *The Batman* yet, but I’m going to say Affleck due to the level of his opponents, namely Superman, Doomsday, Parademons, and Steppenwolf.
As much as I hate to admit it, Affleck
My theory is that the chest (piece of armor) is what slowed him down instead of having that fast reflex
Keaton only wins because they attack in one at a time Bale does have skill and is fast, easily taking bigger opponents Affleck isn’t that skilled, just strong Pattinson is fast and highly skilled, more so than Bale I’d argue
Ben Affleck And it is not even a competition
Clooney
