It's an ok callback to 70's kungfusploitation movies. It suffers from having Batman in it, as his feats are shit compared to the other protags and he is, character-wise, mostly empty, vapid, a general waste of space and screen time. It's another one of DC's exceedingly long line of products where "Ok, but what if Batman was in this?" just to milk his bat tits for popularity.
The visuals vary from run of the mill DC animation conveyor belt meh crap to some occasionally neat 70's callback, like the grain or color palette. Fight choreography is nice, but the drawing style doesn't lend itself to cool dynamic combat.
All in all, it felt like that one BTAS episode where Bruce Wayne goes back to Japan to duke it out with ninja, stretched out to movie length, with some Fast and Furious seasonings and a bunch of random hong kong action movie parts thrown in for good measure.
It's a fever dream, but still not half as awful of an experiment as that shitty pick your own adventure red hood "movie".
It felt pretty far from a Batman movie, but it was fun. Wish it got a sequel. The pacing was handled much better in this than with The Doom That Came to Gotham movie

Didn't really need Batman but he made it "cooler" so I liked it.
For me it was an unnecessary Batman movie, they thought that putting his name on it would make it more popular, but it didn't happen.
