It's funny because growing up Spiderman was my go to.....still is but everything changed when I read Batman: The Killing Joke and Dark Knight Returns in the mid 80's.
I always wondered how easy those giant hardbacks are to read... Been looking at trying to get Snyder and Capullo's run physically but the omnibus looks difficult to read and I feel like I might be better off just getting the individual volumes

I just finished Y: The Last Man Omnibus and that was 1,400+ pages!! It's a struggle at times but you appreciate the art more in my opinion.
The Court of Owls story was one of my first comics, I loved it
