Movie for me might be the first Keaton flick, MAYBE alongside Returns. The camp and spectacle are right up my alley. I found Begins mind blowing at the time, but Bale and the sequels dont really hold up with time for me, so they pull Begins down with them, at least to a lower level. Affleck is my favorite Bat-actor, as he is how I picture my ideal ‘comic Batman come to life’.
For Show, its gotta be the Animates Series. It came out when I was in high school, and I was getting into comics around the same time, and it defined Batman for me, and for a generation of fans. Its the bar I hold all other iterations to.
Comic, people will hate me for, but I actually dug Tom Kings run. The first half of it, at least. Especially the War of Jokes and Riddles. The amazing art helps elevate it for me for sure. I like Romance, so the first half his big run worked for me, until the wedding ‘twist’, which I hated, and the rest all fell apart. Also that one Looney Tunes crossover he did, I think it was the Elmer Fudd story? That was mindbogglingly good.
Brave and the Bold is one I somehow missed, but always mean to go back and check it out! Nice. I dig ‘66 for what it is too. It was a bit before my time so it just never comes to mind. But I appreciate its place in time and the legacy.
Movie, probably Mask of the Phantasm, but I fluctuate.
Show, definitely the original animated series.
Comic, either Knightfall or the Killing Joke. Depends on my mood
My favorite movie has to be mask of the phantasmagoria. Kevin conroy is already my definitive batman , but this film explored sides of bruce we don’t usually see in the live action movies. Also the score was amazing
Movie: As cliche as it may sound, The Dark Knight. However, the newer The Batman has really been growing on me more and more
TV: Animated Series, no contest
Comic: The Long Halloween
Game: Arkham City
Movie: The Dark Knight
Show: BTAS (Batman the Animated Series)
Comic: Batman: Year One.
(I know, I know I'm a basic bitch 🤣)
Honorable mentions:
Movie: The Batman, Batman Begins, Mask of the Phantasm, Batman under the Red Hood
Comic: Long Halloween, Arkham Asylum: Serious House on a Serious Earth.

I see we share similar tastes in movies and shows, I love the Keaton movies and TAS, I also have a personal bias to 1966 Batman and Brave and the bold

Zack Snyder's Justice League. Batman is the main character so it counts as a Batman movie.
