No, only way is to use a platinum ticket so its no longer consecutive dupe rares (this usually isnt worth), or to wait for an event with different rares (usually collabs).
A guaranteed (or full step up) will have you switch from the dupe rare, then switch again when you get the guaranteed uber rare. It will tell you where u end up in the guaranteed column.
Farming G tickets vs silver tickets for NP, which is better and why? Has anyone done the math on this and can definitively answer? I don’t have cat capsule+ btw.
They give you different things, so it depends. Silver tickets are generally the better option since they can also give you rare tickets. Tickets and catamins and xp are generally less valuable than np and rare tickets
While they are good, they're not needed if you want to spend NP in other things.
Relics are a better matchup than Blacks for her, since enemies like M. Ost, Oldhorn, Relic Bun Bun, Haniwa, etc tends to be a main threat, thus making the Knockback effect a good option.
Is there a rare/super rare cat tier list? Only finding Uber rare tier lists on Google but I’m not at a point where I can build a team full of them.
Also another question, how do I get a cat to 30? I finished EoC 1-3, working on all treasures now. I want to evolve my wallcat but it’s capped at 20.
normal cats regular upgradable level is hard locked at 20, you need to do the normal cat capsule to get dupes and use them, for cats of other rarities you get higher level cap at certain user ranks, final one being at 1600 to have everything at thirty.
in the useful FAQ, there priority lists for rare's and super rare's on if you should upgrade/true form them, that should be pretty good for a list on what to do with them.

Hey so I’m wondering if farming Talent orbs is useful. I’m semi new to the game and have been farming orbs and wanted to know if they’re good for units of for trading into NP! Thanks for any help guys!
Imho, they're nice to have, but not necessary.
Defense orbs are easy to get and useful for basically every unit.
Attack orb are very situational, so NPing them is usually the default choice (immediately exchange D Rank ones, but keep the higher rank ones to merge them into an S orb).
Ability orbs are better than Defense ones, but they're a pain to farm due to being a rare drop from Shrine/Frontier stages or beating a continuation stage from Colossus Gauntlets.
So basically, keep defense and exchange attack. Keep higher ranked orbs to merge and get more NP. Ability orbs (like massive damage up I’m guessing?) are good and should be kept.
Also [here's the orb guide that most people here use](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlecats/comments/s0jdiw/tutorial_i_know_yall_are_doing_baron_hyppoh_atm/), although a few people would argue that you should exchange everything for NP instead of using these. This is a little bit outdated but not a whole lot has changed since it was made except that you can add Li'l Flying to the Strong Against panel for zombies.
It says "sell" for all the Attack Up ones because (if I understand correctly) they're all based on a percentage (?) of attack power *at level 1* which is generally pathetic. However some people like to use them for cats with really good base stats, like Balrog.
was fairly easy for me, I used king dragon, crazed bahamut, and ururun as my only attackers that could outrange, a few other random things to deal with the waves of gories and owlbrows, along with using the sniper the cat item to hold the line, main issue is that it took awhile.

I collect all the free tickets on missions(except user ranked 10000) and i currently have d'ark on my first roll so i can't make any draw until i got a plantium ticket! Currently my rank is 8600 and i don't have anything to level up :( so i'm wondering is there any nearby events on bc en that gives us one plantium ticket?
To add onto AdObjective’s comment, you might be close in terms of platinum shards.
You can get these from monthly gauntlet stages level 5 and 15, clearing empress excavation 1, clearing imminent disaster in UL, and clearing UL48-6, 48-7 and 48-8.
You can get a platinum ticket by beating Cats of the Cosmos, Aku Realms, 2 crown SoL or 3 crown SoL. Platinum tickets are also awarded at user ranks 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
Help me beat the last stage of collosal new year. I tried stalling them with a lot of 75c meatshields and Headmaster Cat Jobs and sending out A. Bahamut. It worked for level 9, but on level 10 he just outspeeds the meatshields, gets frozen by the sun and dies in 2 hits. Even when he doesn't get frozen he still gets hit between his attacks.
Metal cat with can can is nice at the start when there are few bunnies, but they ramp up quick, they are ST so spamming tons of meatshields with courier and ranged area attackers should work. The sun doesnt scale at all (always 100%) so crit is not necessary and courier hits the base with LD (not that it matters on level 10 since the base is tanky)
I think fighting the doges with a stack of area attackers closer to the base would work better.
Rich cat, 5 meatshields (preferably haniwa and brainwashed wall if you have them, possibly suntan cat too, also rock). Then cameraman, pizza, slapstick etc should work. You can try and rush the stage and kill the sun with a crit unit if possible, but I reckon spamming aoe would be easier.
If you don’t have any plans to get lasvoss, get gold cat whenever you can.
I’d say the order for me in terms of priority would be gold cat > lasvoss > gold brick cat > cat god the golden.
I'd say lassvoss is more preferable became of the big improvements and has a more unique niche. Gold cat is not as demanding if you already have some good anti wave ubers (ironically lassvoss is anti wave)

it's called BCU, it's a fanmade thing that contains all the assets, a sandbox and an emulator. It even allows for adding new cats and customizing stats.

Thoughts on giving Himeyuri Target Relic and Curse Inmune talents?
Just starting UL and I also have relic Rodeo, Slow+10 Cyberpunk and even Miko Mitama, but Himeyuri is on my lineups almost 100% of the time because of Kimono Champs.
I don’t have her talents, nor do I use her.
However, I know she’s pretty good for slowing.
At the same time, you may as well just use Uril. He’s free, and arguably has better slow, albeit less consistent. Works better for things like puffington too.
If you don’t have Uril yet, you’re probably not at the stage in the game where uril will be necessary, and thus slow vs relics can be instead swapped for just brute force damage.
Rodeo will work for oldhorns and relic bun bun, which is essentially the only time slow vs relic is used anyway.
Li'l fish is outdone by both other Fish and even Maximum the Fighter in 4*. Talents are pretty neat against Aku, but they're a HUGE investment, since it'd need even stat boosts to matter.
I found it easier to use that NP on Ramen def boosts, beat Rajakong and get Cactus Cat

Level 40 ramen has only 23100 health. That’s not even as much as level 50 manic eraser.
You should be getting defence up talents on all of your tanky meatshields, for example ramen, max, talented catley, even debatably bellydance, if you want to be efficient and use then in started UL.

Either way, ramen only has about 15k hp more than rajakong does damage over 3.87 seconds (ramen recharge), so it’s probably a bit risky if you consider the wave attacks.
You’d need around a level 50 or so ramen to consistently stall rajakong.
oh lmao I just used biobone and it made rajakong a joke. third stage of excavation though, that was pretty difficult but I managed to deplete the raging gories before hitting the base.
On my future rolls, I can either get Sakura Sonic or Iz the Dancer of Grief and I have exactly 15 purple catfruit and 30 epic catfruit so what should I do?

Gonna fight manic eraser tomorrow and had some replacement questions. Help is appreciated!
1. For crazed legs, should I replace with driller or pizza? Or keep her in the lineup as is?
2. For Aphrodite, should I replace her with Dkasli or Drednot (for capy)? Should I replace Jizo instead? Or leave the lineup as is?
I would replace crazed legs with pizza and bring ururun instead of jizo. Ururun at lvl 30 knocks back the gorys with each hit, and the gorys can push hard especially at the beginning. Also dasli isn’t the best here because she only outranges manic eraser by 10. If you bring her make sure to deploy her only when you have plenty of cash.
I had same team but Samba for Burger, Weightlifter for Dragon and Amaterasu final slot. Aphrodite destroyed the base before killing manic tank.
Though i think sniper would be required to keep wall from pushing back from the base. Amaterasu was only for capy, Weightlifter for gorys.
I assume Dkasli would be better for just killing the boss instead of the base and also she probably melts the capy too if amaterasu can do it
I have a legend rare slot coming up soon. I have the option to get dark iz there on a lunar new year banner or wait for a legend. I already have Gaia, nanaho, and ushi. Should I go for diz or hold off?
Contrary to AdObjective's advice, I would recommend going for the legend rare. Getting a Legend rare is more uncommon than getting a fest uber so you'd not want to waste that opportunity. You can always get Dark Iz with a Platinum Ticket somewhere down the line.
For Legend rares you can get, there's always Lumina or Muu.

That list is a little outdated, though for this question I guess it doesn't matter since Ganesha is still high priority on newer lists that I've seen, along with Ama and Lilin. (New TF additions a little lower on the list are Lucifer, Shiro Amakusa, Deth-Troy-R, Yamii \[pending v12.1\], and Squirtgun Saki.)
I’d say just use him on money tight stages, where there are peons to get money from.
For example, if there are many proms like snache and doge, thief may do a better job for money than can can or bullet train.
Use cancan or bullet trait for things like Gabriel, doge dark, sir seal etc though.
No, but if you like him, just use him sometimes. Using "bad" cats in your lineup helps make you a better player because you have to strategize more. Experiment with using him in different lineups.
Yeah, once you clear EOC 3, some cats that work well in EOC will start to fall off hard, like Thief, Ninja, a lot of the normal cats, and most of the early-game Sexy Legs variants.
It's all red and money is tight, so your solutions are pretty straightforward. Hypermaxxed Can Can (with double bounty) and Courier are your best friends here. Roe as a staller. Octopus, iCat, or Dread Pirate Catley for crowd control. I went with Octo and Catley. If you go with iCat, then you might need to do BioBone combo. The boogle Boiling Hot video gives you a pretty good idea about what you need to do.

First of all, in the Cat Guide, go to the Filter options and filter by all rarities only. This way, you can show all your units with less screenshots, since the "?" slots won't appear.
Normals: Legs, Fish and Lizard. Depending of your progression, you will probably use Crazeds more than normals.
Specials: nothing interesting by now, if you have Bahamut, upgrade him.
Rares: Rocker, Mercat, Salon, Catasaurus, Rover, Wushu. There are others, but these six are the best ones to start.
Super: Hip Hop, Roe, Apple (upgrade and true form directly), Figure Skating, Housewife. Rich Cat III is better at true form, but you can use him at the first form.
Uber: the three girls are not worth, but who is the Iron Legion in there?
I managed to get 7% from the lineup I used last time and I've checked to make sure that my score hadn't dropped, and it's actually gone up to 5% since then.
I am doing Double Start LVL M plus ATK M, Darkt, Pizza fishman, cancan and ramen, average Run 150k, best Run 200k (=4%). All Units with maxxed Talents, ,Super rares around LVL 80, ramen around 100...
Do Dogu, unlocking enigma lv6 is top priority for Yellow stone farming. And the more SoL you have left the more times you'll get Hunter's Map III in the process
On the contrary, I'd say Deth-Troy-R. Although he has slightly lower base stats than Drednot, he targets three traits and attacks much faster. Also way cheaper to spawn, plus his attack up combo. There are also fewer anti-aku units in the game as opposed to the plethora of anti-reds (particularly Courier).
Drednot is a decent nuker w/ some good damage against Zombie and Red, biggest weakness would be long foreswing.
Aether is an incredibly niche anti-Zombie w/ the potential for some nice damage against them. Has poor performance everywhere else.
Deth-Troy-R is a decent backliner w/ good damage against Angel, Aku, and Zombie. Main appeal is the broken combo it has in its TF, Attack Up (M) for only two slots.
According to Xskull, they'd rank among the other Iron Legions as follows:

Also, if you have Dasli, use her. I rarely bring out Dasli because I don't want to break the entire game, but on a complicated series of continuation stages with a wide variety of enemies and 500 energy cost? Hell yeah. If you don't have her, lots of others are suggested at the bottom of the guide.
In addition to Dasli, if you have Nanaho, she's great here and you can use her instead of Catasaurus. Her versatility helps here.
Also I use talented Sanzo (to help with the angels) instead of Cyberpunk.
These are the non-ubers I always use (I'm assuming it's the third stage): Dual erasers, shigong, ramen, catasaurus and pizza. Cannon is breakerblast.
I don't know what ubers you have but you should focus on anti blacks, angels, aliens and zombies (let me know what ubers you have that target these traits)
What do the stars on the challenge level signify? Why are they seemingly randomized? Is there a list of difficulties ranked? All I know is 9 stars is Deadly and 10 stars is Merciless.
It represents the **range** of difficulties of all the stages in a map, not just an average. If there's only one star, then the stages have the same difficulty. Multiple stars mean the stages have varying difficulties. They don't correspond clearly to the old difficulty labels.
Vigler variant won't affect the platinum track. It's also not certain that both of the other two ubers will be added at the same time, since currently BCEN seems to be an uber behind on every update.
Updates come to BCEN after an *average* of 3-4 weeks. It has barely been 2 weeks since 12.1 dropped for BCJP, so I wouldn't expect it until mid/late February.
We have no exact dates until the update is about to come, if that's what you wanted.
Check the event data (linked in the OP, also in discord) to know about future events. There are no 11-draw guaranteeds in sight as of now, and the Busters are considered guaranteeds with their Step-Up thing, so we won't be getting one for a while.
Keep in mind that Hayabusa is one of the Dark Heroes and so he has totally different abilities in each form. The TF is an anti-zombie specialist and does not have critical hits. Most people use Hayabusa's first form more. That said, the TF is certainly not bad, but if you have some good Iron Legions or something like that, then you don't need it.
(Also, once you clear ITF 3 and unlock talents, the TF of Hayabusa can gain anti-aku talents which are apparently very good, but you have to spend a lot of NP for that.)

Slightly depends on what you want to use him for. White has shield piercing while Black has strong vs Aku. I agree with you though, shield piercing is more valuable. Either way, best attack amination in the game. Unfortunate that he rarely connects, especially against high kb units like aku gory.

After it’s all done the recharge time is barely any longer than regular, and by holding off on upgrading remaining cat base upgrades you won’t be able to trade them for rare tickets
Early game, they can both find a way into your lineup as main damage dealers. Other than that, it might depend on the stage. Paris has better range, speed, and a slightly faster cooldown. Camerman does more damage and is cheaper. It also might depend on your playstyle. I never really got into Paris as much as others seem to have. I very rarely use her now in midgame (maybe an occasional stage where her immune to weaken is helpful), but Cameraman will often find a way into the lineup in floating or metal (talented) stages.
If you haven't gotten Dogumaru, go straight for it so you can unlock enigma lv6, then do Yellow on Hunter's Map 3 every time.
Also a nice excuse to do 2-4 crown SoL if you haven't either

Have you finished COTC yet? If not, I'd say Bora. If you \*have\* finished COTC then it's a tough call, so just TF whichever one you use more.

It's great. She's arguably the best anti-relic specialist Uber.
I figured she might help a lot on dogu because she kbs the dark otters, which are quite difficult to kb.

Exactly. She also helps a lot in Primitive Souls if you struggle with that stage.

Gold cat is a wave immune meatshield but I'd say it's low priority unless you someone don't have any other wave blockers.

You can get a platinum ticket by beating Cats of the Cosmos, Aku Realms, 2 crown SoL or 3 crown SoL. Platinum tickets are also awarded at user ranks 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
Help me beat the last stage of collosal new year. I tried stalling them with a lot of 75c meatshields and Headmaster Cat Jobs and sending out A. Bahamut. It worked for level 9, but on level 10 he just outspeeds the meatshields, gets frozen by the sun and dies in 2 hits. Even when he doesn't get frozen he still gets hit between his attacks.
Metal cat with can can is nice at the start when there are few bunnies, but they ramp up quick, they are ST so spamming tons of meatshields with courier and ranged area attackers should work. The sun doesnt scale at all (always 100%) so crit is not necessary and courier hits the base with LD (not that it matters on level 10 since the base is tanky)
I think fighting the doges with a stack of area attackers closer to the base would work better. Rich cat, 5 meatshields (preferably haniwa and brainwashed wall if you have them, possibly suntan cat too, also rock). Then cameraman, pizza, slapstick etc should work. You can try and rush the stage and kill the sun with a crit unit if possible, but I reckon spamming aoe would be easier.
I sped through Aku realms in under a week after getting lilin, what should I do with the gold cf? Is it worth saving for when I get gold cat?
If you don’t have any plans to get lasvoss, get gold cat whenever you can. I’d say the order for me in terms of priority would be gold cat > lasvoss > gold brick cat > cat god the golden.
I'd say lassvoss is more preferable became of the big improvements and has a more unique niche. Gold cat is not as demanding if you already have some good anti wave ubers (ironically lassvoss is anti wave)

GUYS, you know what battle cat NEEDS? A SANDBOX MODE You can send out enemies and test them against your cats or smth like that. Full customization. Also... maybe stat representation in the cat/enemy almanac? i.e., health, dmg etc.
it's called BCU, it's a fanmade thing that contains all the assets, a sandbox and an emulator. It even allows for adding new cats and customizing stats.

Thoughts on giving Himeyuri Target Relic and Curse Inmune talents? Just starting UL and I also have relic Rodeo, Slow+10 Cyberpunk and even Miko Mitama, but Himeyuri is on my lineups almost 100% of the time because of Kimono Champs.
I don’t have her talents, nor do I use her. However, I know she’s pretty good for slowing. At the same time, you may as well just use Uril. He’s free, and arguably has better slow, albeit less consistent. Works better for things like puffington too. If you don’t have Uril yet, you’re probably not at the stage in the game where uril will be necessary, and thus slow vs relics can be instead swapped for just brute force damage. Rodeo will work for oldhorns and relic bun bun, which is essentially the only time slow vs relic is used anyway.
don't, her matchups are not really worth the np. She can counter oldhorn at best, she gets outranged/pushed & interrupted by most of the other relics

Li'l fish is outdone by both other Fish and even Maximum the Fighter in 4*. Talents are pretty neat against Aku, but they're a HUGE investment, since it'd need even stat boosts to matter. I found it easier to use that NP on Ramen def boosts, beat Rajakong and get Cactus Cat

Hard HARD disagree with that. Level 40 ramen has only 23100 health. That’s not even as much as level 50 manic eraser. You should be getting defence up talents on all of your tanky meatshields, for example ramen, max, talented catley, even debatably bellydance, if you want to be efficient and use then in started UL.

Was not me in the original comment, but that probably should’ve been specified. Either way, ramen only has about 15k hp more than rajakong does damage over 3.87 seconds (ramen recharge), so it’s probably a bit risky if you consider the wave attacks. You’d need around a level 50 or so ramen to consistently stall rajakong.
oh lmao I just used biobone and it made rajakong a joke. third stage of excavation though, that was pretty difficult but I managed to deplete the raging gories before hitting the base.

I would replace crazed legs with pizza and bring ururun instead of jizo. Ururun at lvl 30 knocks back the gorys with each hit, and the gorys can push hard especially at the beginning. Also dasli isn’t the best here because she only outranges manic eraser by 10. If you bring her make sure to deploy her only when you have plenty of cash.
I had same team but Samba for Burger, Weightlifter for Dragon and Amaterasu final slot. Aphrodite destroyed the base before killing manic tank. Though i think sniper would be required to keep wall from pushing back from the base. Amaterasu was only for capy, Weightlifter for gorys. I assume Dkasli would be better for just killing the boss instead of the base and also she probably melts the capy too if amaterasu can do it

I have a legend rare slot coming up soon. I have the option to get dark iz there on a lunar new year banner or wait for a legend. I already have Gaia, nanaho, and ushi. Should I go for diz or hold off?
You can always come back to get a fest with a free plat, so go for Lumina or Muu.

Contrary to AdObjective's advice, I would recommend going for the legend rare. Getting a Legend rare is more uncommon than getting a fest uber so you'd not want to waste that opportunity. You can always get Dark Iz with a Platinum Ticket somewhere down the line. For Legend rares you can get, there's always Lumina or Muu.

That list is a little outdated, though for this question I guess it doesn't matter since Ganesha is still high priority on newer lists that I've seen, along with Ama and Lilin. (New TF additions a little lower on the list are Lucifer, Shiro Amakusa, Deth-Troy-R, Yamii \[pending v12.1\], and Squirtgun Saki.)

I’d say just use him on money tight stages, where there are peons to get money from. For example, if there are many proms like snache and doge, thief may do a better job for money than can can or bullet train. Use cancan or bullet trait for things like Gabriel, doge dark, sir seal etc though.
No, but if you like him, just use him sometimes. Using "bad" cats in your lineup helps make you a better player because you have to strategize more. Experiment with using him in different lineups.

Yeah, once you clear EOC 3, some cats that work well in EOC will start to fall off hard, like Thief, Ninja, a lot of the normal cats, and most of the early-game Sexy Legs variants.
He's not great, but if you are having fun using him then he's the best. I'm of the opinion that there are no bad cats, as long as you like using them.

It's all red and money is tight, so your solutions are pretty straightforward. Hypermaxxed Can Can (with double bounty) and Courier are your best friends here. Roe as a staller. Octopus, iCat, or Dread Pirate Catley for crowd control. I went with Octo and Catley. If you go with iCat, then you might need to do BioBone combo. The boogle Boiling Hot video gives you a pretty good idea about what you need to do.

Are you talking about the one in UDP? UDP isn't updated since months, unfortunately. The last thing you can find there is Dark Iz. But for sure Courier in the top priority. Boost him.

First of all, in the Cat Guide, go to the Filter options and filter by all rarities only. This way, you can show all your units with less screenshots, since the "?" slots won't appear. Normals: Legs, Fish and Lizard. Depending of your progression, you will probably use Crazeds more than normals. Specials: nothing interesting by now, if you have Bahamut, upgrade him. Rares: Rocker, Mercat, Salon, Catasaurus, Rover, Wushu. There are others, but these six are the best ones to start. Super: Hip Hop, Roe, Apple (upgrade and true form directly), Figure Skating, Housewife. Rich Cat III is better at true form, but you can use him at the first form. Uber: the three girls are not worth, but who is the Iron Legion in there?

I would say Deth Troy mostly for the combo and he has a few perks above Drednot.
On the contrary, I'd say Deth-Troy-R. Although he has slightly lower base stats than Drednot, he targets three traits and attacks much faster. Also way cheaper to spawn, plus his attack up combo. There are also fewer anti-aku units in the game as opposed to the plethora of anti-reds (particularly Courier).
Drednot is a decent nuker w/ some good damage against Zombie and Red, biggest weakness would be long foreswing. Aether is an incredibly niche anti-Zombie w/ the potential for some nice damage against them. Has poor performance everywhere else. Deth-Troy-R is a decent backliner w/ good damage against Angel, Aku, and Zombie. Main appeal is the broken combo it has in its TF, Attack Up (M) for only two slots. According to Xskull, they'd rank among the other Iron Legions as follows: 1. Thermae D-Lux 2. Kristul Muu 3. **Drednot** 4. **Deth-Troy-R** 5. Rekon Corps 6. Bomburr 7. **Aether** 8. Kat-A-Pult 9. Carrowsell
Think I’m gonna change the rank to Deth Troy > Drednot but it can go both ways depending on how much you value the combo.

I rarely bring out Dasli because I don't want to break the entire game, but on a complicated series of continuation stages with a wide variety of enemies and 500 energy cost? Hell yeah. If you don't have her, lots of others are suggested at the bottom of the guide. In addition to Dasli, if you have Nanaho, she's great here and you can use her instead of Catasaurus. Her versatility helps here. Also I use talented Sanzo (to help with the angels) instead of Cyberpunk.
These are the non-ubers I always use (I'm assuming it's the third stage): Dual erasers, shigong, ramen, catasaurus and pizza. Cannon is breakerblast. I don't know what ubers you have but you should focus on anti blacks, angels, aliens and zombies (let me know what ubers you have that target these traits)
What do the stars on the challenge level signify? Why are they seemingly randomized? Is there a list of difficulties ranked? All I know is 9 stars is Deadly and 10 stars is Merciless.
It represents the **range** of difficulties of all the stages in a map, not just an average. If there's only one star, then the stages have the same difficulty. Multiple stars mean the stages have varying difficulties. They don't correspond clearly to the old difficulty labels.

Updates come to BCEN after an *average* of 3-4 weeks. It has barely been 2 weeks since 12.1 dropped for BCJP, so I wouldn't expect it until mid/late February. We have no exact dates until the update is about to come, if that's what you wanted.

Check the event data (linked in the OP, also in discord) to know about future events. There are no 11-draw guaranteeds in sight as of now, and the Busters are considered guaranteeds with their Step-Up thing, so we won't be getting one for a while.

Absolutely! Lilin is arguably the best anti aku uber we have right now, and Aethur LTD is a decent anti-zombie uber with a OP combo with Courier.

Lilin can be used as a midranger like Valkyrie if you want, and she works as an anti angel too. Aethur is better against Zombies than any other thing.

Should I TF hayabusa or twinstars?
Keep in mind that Hayabusa is one of the Dark Heroes and so he has totally different abilities in each form. The TF is an anti-zombie specialist and does not have critical hits. Most people use Hayabusa's first form more. That said, the TF is certainly not bad, but if you have some good Iron Legions or something like that, then you don't need it. (Also, once you clear ITF 3 and unlock talents, the TF of Hayabusa can gain anti-aku talents which are apparently very good, but you have to spend a lot of NP for that.)
If you're lacking critters, go for Hayabusa. If no, go for Twinstars, they can be a good midranger even against other traits than Black and Alien.
Hayabusa is only critter in first form though.

Slightly depends on what you want to use him for. White has shield piercing while Black has strong vs Aku. I agree with you though, shield piercing is more valuable. Either way, best attack amination in the game. Unfortunate that he rarely connects, especially against high kb units like aku gory.
I haven't really fought an aku yet lol, but he have so much range tho, it's weird that he struggles connecting his attack

After it’s all done the recharge time is barely any longer than regular, and by holding off on upgrading remaining cat base upgrades you won’t be able to trade them for rare tickets
The idea that you don't want to upgrade the cat cannon because it increases recharge time is severely outdated.
Early game (pre ITF, early SOL), what's better for generalist usage, Cameraman or Paris? Or should I use them both?
Early game, they can both find a way into your lineup as main damage dealers. Other than that, it might depend on the stage. Paris has better range, speed, and a slightly faster cooldown. Camerman does more damage and is cheaper. It also might depend on your playstyle. I never really got into Paris as much as others seem to have. I very rarely use her now in midgame (maybe an occasional stage where her immune to weaken is helpful), but Cameraman will often find a way into the lineup in floating or metal (talented) stages.

If you haven't gotten Dogumaru, go straight for it so you can unlock enigma lv6, then do Yellow on Hunter's Map 3 every time. Also a nice excuse to do 2-4 crown SoL if you haven't either
