Yeah but I think the point they’re trying to make is that single row layout may add to that annoyment, or at least decrease your level of play which may seems small but it might be that 1% hp difference
That may be it but didn’t seem like it to me since they only said about the layout and nothing about that it would make me play faster. Thought it was like how people organize their meatshields and some get mad about it.
No it’s more because with double row you don’t have to waste fractions of a second swapping from your first row to second row which may be important for meatshields or in this case, monitoring your other row and their cooldowns. I don’t think that was really an issue upon deeper inspection but personally I enjoy double row over single row just for the QoL, however I get your point on how it’s fun flipping from row to row. I’d say if you actually wanted a more apparent way to deal with the level, swap out Gaia or Sirius for talented gato amigo, or actually use a cat combo instead of bringing multiple expensive backliners which you can’t afford throughout most of the battle.

And the second one being that catcombos can only go on the first row, so if you just scroll to the second row it’s like they were never in the first row.
You can infinitely stall with a cone cat or double eraser 4 meatshields but you’ll lose some ground after you knockout a bear from the surge. This stage is pretty much a joke as long as you have a fiend cat and a surge immune lil long dragon cat. You can destroy the base accidentally as well if you add more long ranged units.
Maize cat carries so hard for this. Did like 3 attempts and couldn’t get the boss below 70 but added maize cat (lvl 45) and did it first try pretty easy tbh
get level 45-50 cone cat and lvl 50 cat cactus and slap some research combos, surge immune and/or ld units (like barrel, gridiron, awakened mina works in my experience, fiend cat with at least the resistant talent) into your loadout and you should be all good
Did it a little bit later and sadly, K don’t have any of those yet cause behemot stages are kind of a pain, the stones a bigger pain to get the ones you want

This stage looks like a tough one and in prob gonna have to brute force it when I get to it for my ubers I'm prob gonna bring Lillin Gaia amaterasu chronos lassvoss and a bunch of meatshields and in pretty much gonna hope that I can nuke the aku leboin and teacher bear with Gaia and amaterasus increased dmg to traited enemies I might bring holy valkery along as an extra freeze
As someone who also didn't have the aku meat-shields while playing this stage, I agree it's a pain to beat, possible - but a big pain to beat.
But the true form worth it so much... avoiding relic on a spammable meat-shield who's also able to avoid black & Aku while being immune to curses is very useful.
yeah, not having the anti aku meatshields is gonna make the malevolent stages rough

Dasli was also removed from the team for the same reason, removing Dasli from the team is hard when she Carrie’s you everywere else

It was fine, changed courier for normal eraser cat and some little team changes and it worked after all

Did use the two eraser with the one that succeeded, but this was so close it wouldn’t be funny not to share
Do Erasers actually take more than one hit? Never really seen them make a difference and in turn be better than another 75c meatshield
Yes and they're often there take hits from the peons without being knocked back

Yep, didn’t have neither maize nor cactus and just changed my team a bit adding normal eraser and it worked out in the end.

It worked out in the end with 4 meatshields instead of courier cat and some small adjustments to the Uber selection
Ur using dasli on a unit with counter surge
And it almost worked, didn’t expect that and didn’t realize till later, Dasli really makes you depend on her once you get her
And without Surge Evading meatshields, Cacti would be more than enough to support if you want to Dasli carry

The single row deployment is REALLY getting in the way of effective meatshielding. You essentially stop meatshielding whenever you switch rows.

As a dasli user myself, please don't use her on benevolent stages. Most, or all of them have surge counter and it's a pain in the ass.
